This is Tank. My wife and I found him about five months ago on the road. He looked very healthy, like he had gotten out of somebody’s yard. We looked everywhere around the area for the owner, but couldn’t find them. So we ended up keeping him this last roughly 5 months. But he’s just too big for me to handle. I’m 55 years old and I have severe back issues. He’s really super sweet and playful, but he’s so big, that when we’re playing he keeps knocking me over. He’s over 100 pounds, and I can’t handle him with my back issues. I’d say he’s roughly about two years old and he’s still got a lot of puppy in him. I love him so much, but he’s just too much dog for me to be able to take care of. I have several other dogs that I have to take care of each day too, but they’re not anywhere near his size, and they don’t play so aggressively. I have him on a large front porch away from the other dogs, because I don’t know how he would react with other animals. I just want him to have a loving home.

URGENT UPDATE: I have been scheduled for a double bypass surgery. I won't be able to care for her or be able home to heal with her. Fee will be donated. We adopted Honey Bun right at 2 years ago. Since April I have been unable to get her outside for exercise. She is definitely overweight, but has lost 3 inches since the beginning of the year. I just can't do the walks anymore. She is great with people, adults and children. I wouldn't put her with other animals because I haven't been able to get her to stop resource guarding her food, water, or even her blankets. She has a thing for the soft throw blankets She tends to chew tiny bits out of them when she is bored or feels you need to pay more unending attention. She has never had an accident in 2 years. She is great, believes she is a lap dog and very sweet. She just needs new home where her parent/s are able to be active enough to get her exercise in.

She'll need a patient and loving person or family willing to help her settle into her new surroundings and help build her confidence. Once she's comfortable, she'll show you exactly who she is! A fun girl with goofy zoomies that's silly and loves to play. Crystal does well with dogs her size with proper introductions. She loves to run and play with the dogs in her foster home but she is happy to entertain herself if no one is interested in playing. She would love another friendly dog in her forever home to help build her confidence, but it is not required. Crystal has met and done well with kids as young as 6 and she respectfully asks for a home free of cats and small critters. Crystal is house and crate trained and she does ok on leash. Crystal is ready to be someones everything.
