I was expecting a litter of pups and had them before the kind folks at Second Chance Dog Rescue stepped in to help. They brought us in when my pups were about 4 months old. Now, I’m ready for a new chapter, and what I want more than anything is a stable, loving home of my own. I love water, toys and zoomies! I can play all day. I'll show off my toy collection, fake you out with a "PSYCH" move, and dive into any water puddle I find. I can be dog selective so I need a proper intro to other dogs. We have had him for 9 years. He gets along great with our little chihuahua and he's good with people he knows. Before we had him he was likely mistreated and has a scar across his nose. He really needs someone who stays at home and would probably be great with an elderly person. The problem we run into is we lead a very outdoor social life and we can't take him Outdoors because he doesn't trust strangers he comes across and is very skittish and unknown environments. We also cannot leave any type of food on any type of counter because he will take it down. He will open bags and boxes that have food in them. We love him dearly but often have to pay a sitter to stay with him on weekends if we go someplace like the lake
