If we could describe Socks in 5 words we'd say: Loyal. Obedient. Friendly. Loving. Goofball...(Yes GOOFBALL! or is goof ball 2 words? either way he is one) Since the day he came to us, all 65-70 lbs of Socks has been a barrel of fun. He loves to cuddle and give friendly kisses any chance he can. He is the sweetest, most loving dog that just wants to be shown love from a devoted owner. He'd love you to take him on walks and give him lots of belly rubs. And he'll never ever turn down the opportunity to play fetch. Socks walks well on a leash, knows sit, wait, place command and likes to please. Socks is looking for an owner that will show him as much love as he is always willing to give. With structure, consistent rules and discipline, Socks is a joy to have around. Socks is around ten years old, black male, pitbull lab mix, neutered with all of his shots and potty trained. He needs to be the only big dog in the house, and good with small dogs.
Socks: male, black and white, 65 lbs, Lab Mix (mixed with pitbull maybe but his records state lab mix), up to date on his shots, neutered, chipped, fully trained and 13 years old. Socks is the perfect family dog that is fully trained. He is extremely submissive to people (He can shy and bows down to you upon meeting) and is extremely eager to please. He does yearn to have all the attention on him since he can be a bit territorial when it comes to other pets. Therefore, he should be the only pet in the home.He knows how to use the doggy door and he hasn’t had a single accident inside ever. He is great in car rides and does well on a leash. He is not destructive and is really only interested in toys and treats but knows not to beg for food. If his age might be a concern, he is energetic and LOVES being playful..for active families, he will fit right in! He is great with children.He is a low maintenance dog, super calm and really just wants to be next to his human relaxing and cuddling much of the time. His coat is silky and shiny and he does not shed much. He is not a messy boy, not a digger and has no bad habits. He is a great addition to any family because he is so quick to adjust! He has deep brown eyes that penetrate your soul and he gives all his trust and love to you the moment he meets you. Give this gentle and very loyal boy a chance.
