Meet Coco Bean! This sweet 16-year-old Staffy mix (approx. 50 lbs) may have a few gray hairs, but her heart is as young and full of love as ever. With her white coat accented by soft brown patches and soulful, expressive eyes, Coco is a total heart-stealer. She came all the way from Ireland with her devoted owner, who, due to serious health issues, could no longer care for her. It was a heartbreaking goodbye, and now Coco is searching for a new family to give her the love and comfort she so deeply deserves. Sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s up to date on all vaccinations and in great shape for her age. Story
Wally VI is a sweet and gentle teenage male pup who is finally living his best life indoors! He was found living in the woods behind the Oak Cliff Walmart, Wally was understandably shy and skittish around humans at first. But with lots of patience, love, and training, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s come so far â&#194&#128&#194&#148 slowly learning to trust and embracing life indoors. Wally is truly every-creature-friendly â&#194&#128&#194&#148 dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, you name it! He loves playing with toys and tug-of-war (his absolute favorite), chasing sticks, and exploring the world around him. When heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s not busy being goofy and playful, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s happily snoozing or cuddling up with his people. He thrives when he has a confident dog friend to play and socialize with â&#194&#128&#194&#148 having a furry buddy helps him feel secure and happy as he continues adjusting to his new life. While Wally thrives on play and fun, he also values his space. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d do best in a home with kids who understand how to respect a dogâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s boundaries and space. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s come a long way in building trust, and with the right kind of patience and understanding, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll keep blooming into the confident, joyful pup heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s shown to be. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s very food motivated, and sure loves his snacks! Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s crate trained, potty trained, and always hopeful youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll share your last bite (heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll pull out the full puppy eyes for it â&#194&#128&#194&#148 and honestly, who could blame him?). Sharing snacks was one of the first ways he learned to trust, so mealtime still holds a special place in his heart. Despite his rough start in life, he is a resilient, silly, and sweet and loving pup who is ready to bring endless joy and laughter to his forever family. Meet Thunder â&#194&#154¡ð&#194&#159&#194&#144¾ Thunder is a 6-year-old male Boxer with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. Sweet, friendly, and affectionate, Thunder is the kind of dog who thrives on companionship and truly enjoys being part of a family. Thunder has an average energy level and loves a good balance of playtime and walks. He does best when he has daily opportunities to move, explore, and engageâ&#194&#128&#194&#148followed by plenty of cuddle time. He responds beautifully to verbal praise and positive reinforcement, and may need gentle encouragement at first when settling into a new home, especially around mealtime. This handsome guy is playful and social, does well with children, and is friendly with other medium to large dogs. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s also good with cats, making him a wonderful option for a variety of households. Thunder especially loves toys and will happily accept treats once he feels comfortable. At the end of the day, Thunderâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s favorite place is right by his personâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s sideâ&#194&#128&#194&#148he enjoys sleeping with his owner and will happily offer his signature Boxer hugs when prompted. His ideal home is one where he can receive the attention, love, and companionship he deserves, with people who have time to play with him and take him on regular walks. Thunder is being rehomed through no fault of his own, due to age-related limitations of his current owner. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s ready for a new chapter with a family who will cherish him as much as he will cherish them. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will fill your home with love (and hugs), Thunder is your perfect match! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If you have a specific question about Thunder II, then please email newdigs@dallaspetsalive.org. Story
Meet Sharae Jo aka Dora the explorer. She is 9 months, weighing 28 lbs., boxer mix with a vibrant fawn coat. Sharae was rescued under a church with her five siblings and her mother at just a few weeks old. Sharae is a very energetic, loving and a very independent pup who loves to explore all of her surroundings. Sharae is very shy with other dogs, but warms up once getting to know them. She has not been around cats. She currently resides with her mom, two siblings and a Lab. Sharae loves water especially playing in her puppy pool. She is one smart pup! She loves a good car ride and loves the outdoors. An ideal home for Sharae would be one that is safe and comfortable where she will receive plenty of love, affection and training. Because she is a pup, would love to put her in an environment with a family that has children, if possible.l, but not required. Sharae is partially crate trained with no issues sleeping or playing in one. However, she does not potty inside, as she will bark to inform you when she needs to go. Sharae will need continued training on a leash and basic commands. Sharae has received the following vaccinations: Rabies, Bordetella, DHPP. She is microchipped and will be spayed on 06/17/2025. Reason for rehoming: Sharae is currently under temporary care by her rescue family who are unable to keep her permanently. This happy-go-lucky pup is deserving of the perfect furever home.
