🎲🐾 ROLL THE DICE ON LOVE—MEET DICE! 🤎 Dice is a 2–3 year old, 45-pound caramel hunk of pittie perfection—and this sweet boy is coming out of his shell more and more every day. 💕 He was a little timid at first, but now he’s showing us what a lovely companion he can be. ✨ Sit game? ON POINT. He knows it by name and is happy to show off. ✨ Leash skills? Excellent. No harness required—he naturally stays close and makes a wonderful walking partner. ✨ Energy level? Mellow. He enjoys sniffing, exploring, and simply being out with his person. ✨ Recall? Pretty impressive. He comes when called and sticks close, even when the leash is dropped. ✨ House manners? Looking good. He definitely appears to be housebroken. Dice has also shown some very promising social skills. He walked nicely alongside other dogs and showed curiosity and some playful energy. He also encountered a cat at very close range and showed very little interest—if anything, he seemed a little concerned about the cat. 👀🐱 That's a promising sign for potential cat compatibility, though proper introductions would always be important. This gentle guy can be a little hand-shy, so he may need someone willing to let trust build at his own pace. But once he’s comfortable? He’s sweet, easygoing, and happiest simply hanging out with his person. Dice isn't particularly treat motivated, but honestly, he seems more interested in companionship than snacks. 🥹 🤎 Sweet. Gentle. Mellow. Loyal. 🐾 And increasingly confident every day. Dice could be the kind of dog who quietly slips into your life and quickly becomes one of your favorite parts of it.

🌊🐾 Teacup: 50 Pounds of Pure Party Girl Energy 🐾🌊 Looking for a dog who thinks every day should be an adventure? Meet Teacup. 🎉 Teacup is a 1–2 year old, 50-pound white and grey pittie mix who is here for one thing: FUN. This girl lives for playtime, and she has never met a stick that wasn’t better when it was bigger. 😂 Water? Absolutely yes. Bigger splashes? Even better. Teacup had the time of her life at the river, showing off her love of swimming, splashing, and making every adventure more exciting. She’s also a fan of fetch, chasing tennis balls, and any activity that involves moving, playing, and having a good time. 🌊🎾 Teacup is a wide-open, happy-go-lucky girl with a big personality. She’s affectionate, loves attention, and brings a little bounce of excitement wherever she goes. In the play yard, she’s all about zoomies, fun, and soaking up affection without being overly jumpy or overstimulated. Her one quirky habit? When a leash comes out, Teacup thinks it might be the world’s most confusing tug toy. 🙃 She’s just a young, enthusiastic pup who needs some guidance on how to channel all that excitement when it’s time to walk. Teacup is an exuberant walker, loves to stay busy, and would thrive with a family who enjoys an active, playful companion. She likes other dogs and has the youthful energy to keep up with a family ready for adventures. ✨ Water lover ✨ Bigger sticks are always better ✨ Fetch and tennis balls are favorites ✨ Affectionate and people-focused ✨ Playful, silly, and full of life ✨ Ready to be someone’s adventure buddy Teacup isn’t a “sit quietly in the corner” kind of dog. She’s a “grab the leash, find the trail, bring the toys, and let’s make some memories” kind of dog. 💙 If life could use a little more laughter, fun, and four-legged chaos, Teacup is ready to deliver. 🐾

Meet Panda: Big Ears, Big Heart, No Hearing Needed 🐾 Panda is a 4–5 year old, 50-pound white and brindle “All American” shelter dog—her breed mix is anyone’s guess, but her uniqueness is undeniable. And yes… those adorable ears? They may be cute, but they don’t work—Panda is deaf. 💛 This special girl may come across as a little tough or unsure at first. New people can make her wary, but beneath that outer shell is a dog who wants connection so badly. With a little patience and trust, Panda blossoms into an incredibly affectionate, playful, and loving companion. Once you’re in her circle, it’s something truly special. ✨ Panda is smart—really smart. She already knows “sit,” responds beautifully to hand signals, and is highly treat motivated, which makes her a dream for continued training. She loves to play, enjoys a good game of fetch, and will happily zoom around when she’s feeling excited. And water? She’s a fan of that too. 💦 Because Panda experiences the world a little differently, she would do best with an experienced handler who can help guide her and continue building her confidence. In return, you’ll get a deeply loyal, fun, and loving dog who forms a strong bond with her people. ✨ What makes Panda special: • Deaf, but incredibly in tune with her people • Smart and eager to learn (especially with treats!) • Playful, affectionate, and full of personality • Loves fetch, zoomies, and water time • Builds deep, meaningful bonds once she trusts you Panda just needs someone willing to meet her where she is—and when you do, she’ll give you her whole heart. 🐾💛 Come meet Panda at Hopewell Animal Services and see just how special she is.

🖤✨ Say His Name… Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!✨🐾 (And yes… he will appear… preferably for belly rubs.) This 1–2 year old, 40-pound fawn and white pittie heartthrob is equal parts sweet, sensitive, and snuggly—with just a dash of quirky charm. 💛 Beetle (as his friends call him) is the kind of dog who doesn’t just like affection… he leans into it. Literally. 💛 Rolls in the grass like it’s his full-time job 💛 Offers his belly like, “you know what to do” 💛 Gives the gentlest little head nudges for pets 💛 Walks beautifully on leash and stays close to his person 💛 Thrives on connection, love, and feeling safe He can be a little shy at first—but once you’re in? ✨ You’re in. ✨ Beetle forms deep, meaningful bonds and becomes incredibly devoted to his person. Now, let’s be real—because Beetle deserves that honesty. He was briefly adopted and had a bite incident in the home. We’re happy to share more details with serious adopters because we believe one moment does not define a dog—especially one as sensitive and special as him. 🏡 Beetle’s dream home: • Low-traffic, calm environment • Adults only • Experienced owner who understands building trust takes time • Someone patient, kind, and willing to help him feel safe in the world Shelter life is tough on this sensitive soul, but even here, he’s become a volunteer favorite. Everyone who spends time with him sees just how much love he has to give. ✨ Knows “sit” ✨ Loves treats ✨ Would thrive with training and structure ✨ Has so much potential just waiting to be unlocked Beetlejuice isn’t for everyone—but for the right person? He’s going to be everything. 🖤🐾 📍 Come meet him at Hopewell Animal Services 🕙 Tuesday–Saturday | 10 AM – 2 PM Say his name… and maybe, just maybe… you’ll find your perfect match. 💛

✨ MAGGIE: THE HEART-STEALER YOU DIDN’T KNOW YOU NEEDED ✨ We sent Maggie on a staycation with one of our amazing volunteers… and wow, did she deliver. 💛 This 4–5 year old, 49-pound sweetheart proved exactly who she is outside the shelter: 🐾 Crate trained (with a little encouragement + peanut butter magic) 🐾 Calm, quiet, and easy in a home 🐾 Neutral with dogs—coexists politely but prefers her own space 🐾 Obsessed with humans (like… fully, wholeheartedly, beautifully obsessed) Maggie isn’t here for the chaos—she’s here for connection. She will lean into you like she’s known you forever, soaking up every ounce of love you’re willing to give. It’s honestly something special. She enjoyed porch lounging, pack walks, cozy car rides, and even a BBQ hangout—taking it all in stride as long as she had her person nearby. That’s her happy place. 🫶 Her staycation family described her as: connective, sweet, joyful, loving, compatible (and even said she might be their favorite dog yet 🥹) Maggie is petite, low-key, and ready to be someone’s whole world. Now she’s back at the shelter… waiting for her magic to work again. ✨ Could that be with you?

👑🌧️ All Hail Queen Xena: Puddle Conqueror 💦🐾 Looking for a dog who will turn your daily walk into an adventure series? Meet Xena… aka Dora the Explorer, but faster and with better zoomies. 😂 Xena is a 3–4 year old, 45-pound brindle and white boxer/pittie mix who has completely transformed since arriving earlier this year at just 34 pounds. That version of Xena? Gone. This Xena? Thriving. Glowing. Living her BEST life. ✨ 💛 Loves meeting new people (especially if snacks are involved—food = love) 🏃‍♀️ Built-in running partner (be prepared… she will push your pace) 🌳 Professional explorer—every tree, hill, and puddle must be investigated 💦 Elite puddle plower—seriously, it’s her passion 💋 Gives the sweetest, most gentle little kisses She’s the perfect mix of adventurous and affectionate—one minute she’s splashing through water like a kid on a mission, the next she’s melting into you for soft, sweet moments. Xena can walk nicely with other dogs, but at the end of the day? 👑 She’d really love to be the queen of her castle—and after everything she’s been through, we think she’s earned that title. She’s been patiently waiting, watching others leave… ✨ Could you be the one who finally chooses Xena? ✨ 📍 Come meet her at Hopewell Animal Services 🕙 Tuesday–Saturday | 10 AM – 2 PM Your adventure buddy (and puddle partner) is ready. 💛🐾

🎳🤍💦🐾 CHEVY: THE BOWLING BALL WITH LEGS! 😂 Meet Chevy, a 2-year-old, 45-pound white-and-gray American Bully mix who is squatty, snorty, goofy, and ridiculously fun. Chevy is basically a little furry pinball machine. 😄 He has a short attention span, gets distracted by approximately EVERYTHING, and means absolutely well while doing it all. 🎾 Loves fetch—and is perfectly happy entertaining himself with a ball 💦 LOVES plowing through big puddles 🧸 Picks up random things on walks that look like toys—which is honestly adorable and tells us he’d probably LOVE having actual toys of his own! ✨ Knows “sit” 🦴 Takes treats gently 💕 Loves attention and happily climbed onto a bench… then into a volunteer’s lap! 🐶 Shows great body language around other dogs and seems to enjoy their company Chevy is the kind of dog who will make you laugh without even trying. One minute he’s chasing a ball, the next he’s investigating a mystery object, then charging through a puddle like he has somewhere important to be—and suddenly… lap dog. 😂

🎯🐾 SMART, SWEET & JUST SASSY ENOUGH TO KEEP THINGS INTERESTING. 👀🤎 Crystal is a 3–4 year old, 55-pound tan boxer/pittie mix with a stunning black muzzle—and a personality just as memorable as her looks. 😍 Crystal isn’t the kind of girl who immediately flops over for belly rubs. She likes you to earn your way into her inner circle. But put in a little time, build her trust, and you’ll be rewarded with a loyal, loving girl who genuinely adores her people. 💕 ✨ Focused and responsive to her person ✨ Knows her commands and LOVES treats ✨ Smart, attentive, and eager to engage ✨ Has just the right amount of sass and silliness And when treats are involved? Crystal is ALL business. She’ll sit patiently, lock those gorgeous eyes onto yours, and wait for instructions… while simultaneously calculating exactly how many snacks she can convince you to hand over. 😂🍪 She can occasionally get a little sassy when she’s fired up, but she responds well to guidance and settles back in. Honestly, a girl with a little personality is way more fun. 😉 Crystal may make you work a little for her trust—but once you’ve earned it, you’ll know you’ve got something special. 🤎🐾
