Story
Petey was adopted from SCRAPS a year ago. Peteys family has fallen on hard times and through no fault of his own, Petey is now looking for another home. He is being fostered by Speedy Tail Acres. Petey is sweet and goofy. He loves rope toys and balls and his favorite is tug!! He is about 6 years old. Fully neutered but likely will need his vaccines soon. Foster will pay. He wants to be a lap dog but knows his manners. Does not jump up, rarely barks and is a gem in the house. Totally house trained, not even one accident so far at foster. Loves cats and is gentle with them. Loves kids and adults alike. He is ok with calm, non aggressive dogs but may be best as a solo. Petey knows his basic commands; sit, down and wait. He is also fairly good on the leash and doesn't pull much unless he sees a rabbit. What's nice is Petey is way past the puppy stage and yet not too far advanced that he has plenty of years of love left to give the right home. He will charm you with his cute butt shake.

Story
Hello! My name is Char Char, or Char binkies, or Charmander, or whatever other goofy nick name you can come up with! I am currently four years old and a healthy 45(ish) pounds. I love to be the center of attention, have all the toys I can dream of and simply be near my favorite people. Being a couch potato is where its at. Lounging around in the house with my favorite toys is the best. Outside is still all fun for the adventures to experience! I have been hiking, camping and seen mulitple states. Having siblings can be fun but I prefer to be the only one in the house so I recieve all the toys, lovings and attention. As long as you're petting me I am content with life.

Story
Dopey is an adorable and vivacious American Pit Bull Terrier mix with an Embark estimated birthdate of 09/23/2023. He is a beautiful blue brindle and white pattern. He was originally found stray by a local community member who did her due diligence in searching for his owners, but no one came forward and now he's on the hunt for a new home.  Dopey did arrive with a severe skin infection and chronic skin inflammation which he is being treated for. He will likely always need allergy management care, which includes costco salmon and sweet potato kibble and a daily apoquel pill. The appquel may be a lifelong treatment and it runs approximately $90 per month.  Dopey is highly athletic dog who will be able to accomplish any goal with a dedicated and competent handler. He would love to be involved in basic dog sports like disc, fast cat, or potentially bikejorn etc, but he would also be happy to just spend time with an active person who walks and hikes regularly. Dopey is friendly to dogs but can be over the top and needs to work on his greeting skills so he's not overwhelming to the other dogs. He does have prey drive and chases cats and small animals, so he is not suitable in a home with small animals. He is also not a good candidate for the dog park because his self control skills and lack of social awareness will be magnified and negatively impacted in an uncontrolled group setting.  Dopey loves all people he meets and he's great with kids. He is also crate trained and working on leash training and finishing touches on house training.  Dopey's adoption fee is $200 and includes his leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, and apoquel. He comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  Thank you for checking out our boy!  ##2075821##

Story
Bandit's adventure spirit brings joy to everyone in his life. Though dealt a bad deck of cards previously, this awesome dog is living his best life.  The injury is unknown, and we were never able to get any real information, so we just concentrate on his care.  Our doctors all agree he is not in pain. We just keep him comfortable and enjoying life.   Bandit likes playing with the other dogs, he is super fast on his wheels and loves to go on runs thru the woods. He is a champion cuddler.   He will come with his chair and ski mods, and we can do some training if you are wanting to adopt this special guy, but are not sure about the aids and how they help with the day to day.  He doesn't need his chair all the time. He spends most of the time out of it, actually.  He has some use of his legs, and gets around the yard quite well.  Check out his videos! Here is what his foster mom has to say:  Sweet and pretty chill. Lots of naps and doesn’t like getting off the couch in the mornings lol he gets zoomies like other dogs just a little wobbly lol. Loves car rides and his daily walks. Gets along with other dogs. Will chase cats.   The adoption fee is $175 and Bandit has all his vaccinations, microchip, neuter and more. ##940630##

Story
Ho Ho Ho, it Henry! Senior Big Guy, looking for companionship Current Rabies, DPPV, Bordetella, Microchip  Good with Dogs and the kiddos Pass on cats Adoption fee is $50    Henry came up from southern Utah to get the much needed vet care he deserved.  Surrendered to the shelter and being a senior, Henry wasn't getting much attention and so we went to work.  A collaborative team of volunteers drove Henry 900 miles for him to come in thru the barn doors.  His foster parents went to work on helping him settle into a new life, a loved life. He slowly began to relax and find peace and comfort.   On November 21st we removed his tumor and made sure he was current on all vaccinations.   Now Henry is ready to find his forever home. Ideal home has lots of attention for Henry. He prefers to be under your feet at the table and next to you when watching TV. This senior guy does great left alone for the work day but wants all your time once you get home. He does have old timer issues, such as his back legs are getting weaker. Please keep in mind when adopting a senior, its about the quality of time you give them, so they are not in the shelter.   ##2213501##

Story
Hi, Misty Momma here looking for my active people. I recently had a litter and now am trying to get my beach body back. I`m looking for an endless supply of tennis balls and a person to throw them. I`m active, spirited, and full of love. I`m not entirely sure how I feel about small children and other animals. If you have the time, space and resources, I look forward to meeting you!
