Story
Bean is 5 year old mix. We had his sister from the litter before him since before he was born and she died of a seizure almost a year ago and he has been struggling ever since. He had lost weight due to not wanting to eat and he has used the bathroom in the house quite a bit more. Bean is the sweetest goofiest loving dog you’ll ever meet but I we work so much and cannot help him get over these issues and I’m scared his poor eating will make him loose more weight and I cannot be home to follow a schedule to help him gain weight back. He needs a loving home that has the time to offer him to flourish!

Story
Tiva Bean will make a lady or small family a great companion. She is very sweet, lovable, and curious. She loves to play with other dogs and kids and is very curious of cats. She loves to flop down at bedtime for cuddles and will sleep by you all night. She is potty trained, mostly kennel trained, and knows sit and shake. She is very food motivated. She does not enjoy the car, car rides, or walks anywhere near the road or moving cars. If you are interested in learning more about Tiva or meeting her please reach out to her foster mom, Josey, by text at 509-723-7730.

Story
Introducing Jackson, or as we like to call him, Jack Teller - a true survivor who has overcome countless obstacles in his journey. Imagine finding him at an intersection, abandoned and scared, anxiously waiting for his owners to return. It breaks your heart, doesn't it? But don't worry, this story has a happy ending. Despite his rough start, Jack Teller has blossomed into a remarkable companion. Like any dog, he was initially wary of new faces, but it didn't take long for him to realize that there are kind-hearted souls out there who only want to shower him with love and affection. And boy, did he surprise us all! Jack Teller turned out to be the friendliest pup around, melting hearts left and right with his warm greetings and wagging tail. He's not just good with people, but dogs too - a true social butterfly! Like many of our Tx dogs he is being treated for heartworms. NOTHING to worry about as this is very common here.  We will provide the medication to continue his treatment.   If you're looking for a hiking buddy or simply a furry friend to join you on leisurely strolls, Jack Teller is your guy. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the great outdoors. Plus, he's a pro when it comes to crate training. Talk about an all-around good boy! But here's the best part - this gentle soul is a hidden treasure, waiting to be discovered by the perfect forever family. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home, and Jack Teller is no exception. That's why we make regular trips to the Pacific Northwest, including a special stop in Bellingham, WA, just for our Canadian friends. If you're interested in adopting Jack Teller or want to find out more about him, head over to www.springbranchrescue.org. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome this incredible pup into your life. Trust us, it'll be a decision you won't regret. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for . We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering to adopt and not shop.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts.  Unfortunatelly Meet & Greets have been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##1714321##

Story
Mama Turkey (mother to the Feastletts) is a lovely American Pit Bull Terrier Siberian Husky mix. She is 55lbs and has an estimated birthday of 11/23/2019.  Turkey has now recovered from raising 9 puppies and 2 surrogates. She was an excellent mother and was sociable and reasonable with all the dogs and people who interacted with and helped raise and socialize her babies.  Turkey is leash trained, crate trained, house trained, and off leash reliable when no distractions are present. She hikes fine on a long line. She has successfully competed in a straight racing trial and won a shamrock stuffy for coming in last in her class, but we are exceedingly proud that she got out there, wore her muzzle and racing blanket and heavily competed with the other mixed breed dogs. She knows sit, place, and wait, and she loves riding in the car. She's very social with other dogs and all people she has met. She's a supreme dog, and the kind of companion people are hoping for when they choose to adopt a rescue dog.  Turkey does have mild vocal separation anxiety and rips up the blankets in her kennel but she's steadily improving when being contained. She will need a sturdy kennel for being contained when home alone so she doesn't make destructive choices. A plastic airline kennel would be sufficient. She is also quite reliable unattended at home with another stable dog.  Turkey eats Kirkland Signature Nature's Domain Salmon and Sweet Potato dog food from Costco and takes a tablet of apoquel by mouth once daily to manage allergies.  Turkey has a ton of potential and she could be as active or relaxed as a future family preferred, although she will still require daily exercise and mental stimulation. She would make an ideal match for an entry level sport home or active family pet.  Turkey comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes a leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, and medical records. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and send in an application.  Thank you for checking out Turkey!  ##1881051##
