&#226&#157&#132&#239&#184&#143 Meet Frosty — 11-year-old Pit Mix &#226&#157&#132&#239&#184&#143 Don’t let the gray fool you — this stout old gentleman still has plenty of pep in his step! Frosty enjoys wrestling with other dogs just like the young pups and proves that age is truly just a number. He also rides beautifully in the car and is an all-around easygoing companion. Frosty ended up in a high-capacity, high-euthanasia shelter after his owners became homeless. He and his housemate were surrendered together. While his housemate was lucky enough to be scooped up quickly, Frosty was left behind… waiting. We’re so grateful we could save him, because this sweet senior boy has so much love left to give. Frosty deserves a soft bed, a warm home, and a family who will cherish him through his golden years. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Could Frosty be the missing piece of your family?December 17, 2025, 9:33 am

Story
Name: Holly (fka Tassel) Age: 9? Seems unlikely so we’ll get an opinion from our vet partner  Breed: pit bull mix  Gender:  female  Weight: 45 lbs (but needs to gain some weight) Good with kids: unknown  Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: not fostered with kitties   Current on vaccinations: Yes Fixed: to be scheduled  Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork. Foster location: Waupaca   Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html Bio: &#226&#156&#168 This Christmas… a second chance begins. &#226&#156&#168 When one foster pup finds her forever home, a space opens up to help another!  And that space led Our Pack Animal Rescue’s heart all the way to Chicago—to a gentle soul who needed healing and hope. Meet Holly Formerly known as Tassel, Holly arrived underweight with some skin issues and missing fur. Based on her body, we don’t think she had a very good 2025—but we know 2026 is going to be amazing for her. She’s been quiet, gentle, and understandably unsure of what’s happening. But now it’s Holly’s time to rest, to heal, and to learn what it feels like to be safe… and someday, to be chosen. Because this season isn’t about perfection—it’s about healing and second chances. And Holly’s story is just beginning. &#226&#156&#168 What we know about Holly so far… Holly already knows what it means to be part of a home. She understands routines, knows some basic commands, and has been a true little gem about letting us know when it’s time to go outside. She may be a bit shy when meeting new faces, but once she realizes you’re one of the good ones, her guard melts away and her gentle, loving spirit comes through. In some ways, it’s a little heartbreaking—Holly already knows what it means to have a home, and somehow, she lost it. We don’t know her full story, but we do know this: she deserves stability, safety, and a love that lasts. This time, we’re committed to making sure Holly doesn’t just find a home… she finds her forever. Stay tuned as her journey continues—we’re so excited to share more of Holly as she settles in, heals, and begins her next chapter. &#226&#156&#168December 26, 2025, 8:19 am

Story
Luna was rescued in January of 2020. She was found as a stray who had recently had a litter. She is likely about 7-8 years old currently. We DNA tested her and her results came back 60.1% American Pit Bull Terrier, 16.4% American Staffordshire Terrier, 14.8 American Bulldog, and 8.7% Supermutt (but likely husky!) While Luna is a great dog, and friendly to all humans, she is very dog-reactive. I have a 2-year-old daughter and a newborn. Between two children, frequent travel, and anxiety about taking her on walks due to her reactivity, we would like to find a home better suited to her needs. We feel Luna would do best in a home with adults or older children. While mostly a couch-potato, Luna loves to play fetch and tug of war and go on runs! She is a snuggle bug and wants to be next to you all the time. She knows lots of commands and is very food motivated.

Story
🌟 Meet Morris: Three legs, 1 giant head, and unlimited snuggles🌟 🌟 Name: Morris (formally Carnival at (MADACC)) 🎂 Age: 4 (ish) 🐶 Breed: Terrier mix 🥌 Weight: 65 lbs and gaining 💉 Vaccination Status: Morris is neutered, up to date on rabies, distemper, bordatella vaccines, heartworm testing & prevention ensuring his continued health and well-being. 🏡 Ideal Home: Morris is seeking a home with toys to chew and a couch to snuggle on. He is a medium energy boy who loves his walks (we are working on increasing his endurance after his amputation), enjoys playing fetch in the yard and a good roll in the grass. After a bit of exercise he is ready to snuggle- and he’s the best at it! He can almost be found with one of “emotional support” stuffed toys in his mouth- especially when he’s excited! 🐕 Compatibility: Morris gets along well his canine foster sister and enjoys playing tug and fetch. He does hog the human snuggles from her, but she doesn’t mind. He also gets along well with children, but due to his size, we feel he would do best with older kids. Morris has a high prey drive, so he will need a home without cats. 👂 Special Needs: Due to Morris’ front leg amputation he will need to be on high quality joint supplements for life. Maintaining a healthy weight will be key to his mobility. ✂️ Grooming: He has the softest short coat with minimal grooming requirements. Just occasional brushing and a bath (which he does great with at home). 🐾 Training: Morris has an excellent start with his training. He is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands such as “sit”, “down”, “off”, and even still gives “paw” despite only having 1 front leg! He is THE PERFECT DOG! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ____________________________________________________________ Coordinator: Carol Aulick COURTESY POST Instagram-worthy Lady is hoping to become the center of your universe! This sweetheart is loving and loyal, working-dog smart, and a fast learner. She’s dreaming of a forever home with a dog-savvy owner who is looking for a soul mate and willing to give her the best. For Lady, that means: No dogs/cats/young kids – This gal has some prey drive. She is not aggressive and has done well with all types of people. House-trained and nice household manners? Check and double check! Someone willing to commit to long-term separation anxiety meds and a sponsored behavioral consult to keep her thriving – In foster, she’s already made great progress! She willingly goes into her crate, sleeps perfectly in her crate all night, and is staying alone comfortably for increasing periods of time. She would love someone consistent who is home frequently, works from home, and/or can get a “Lady-sitter” while she continues to build independence. Chaotic households are a no thank you. And if you’re still reading this but are about to move on because of what pops into your head when you think of separation anxiety, please think twice. This girl is amazing. She’d be a foster fail if her foster family didn’t have a resident dog and cat.   Enrichment and exercise – One hundred percent, yes! Lady’s training and trick repertoire is growing quickly and food motivation makes her a joy to work with. She can be calm and settled, but she’s also FAST! Her heart is set on a yard, flirt pole, regular walks (currently three per day for a total of about 2-4 miles per day), hikes, and plenty of outdoor adventures. Car rides? No problem! She’s ready to be your partner in life wherever you go! And toys, games, and puzzles are the icing on the cake…though a cozy nap spot also rates highly!  :)   Regular veterinary care – Lady is already spayed, microchipped, DNA tested, up to date on vaccines and routine care, and fully vetted. If you’re her match, she just needs YOU!   Apply to adopt Lady at:  https://www.underdogrescueranch.com/adopt.
