We are late in life and cannot care for her any longer . Nixy never meows or misses her litter box and stays inside always. She is not a cuddler but very easy to have around. She eats only dry food and a dry treat twice a day besides her dry food.

Story
Scotty and Diana have been hanging out in one of my grandmas spare rooms since we trapped them back in mid December. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they need to be out by the 1st of February!!! We need a long-term foster, and QUICK!! Have a spare bedroom for these easy keepers? Litter box trained, no spraying or marking and both are altered! Everything you need will be provided, food, litter, veterinary, EVERYTHING! They're both former ferals, so they take some time to warm up. My grandma is now able to pet Scotty Diana takes a little longer to warm up, but was rubbing against my Grandma's leg by the 3rd week! Home check required

Story
Maple is a kitten who loves people. She is about 6 months old. She really loves being pet, and will lay on your lap as much as she can! She was found outside our apartment complex. The maintenance team found her owners who said they didn’t want her. She was outside starving for a month. She snuck into an apartment they were remodeling and had some paint on her which is mostly gone. We’ve had her for 2.5 weeks and have gotten her weight up significantly as she was skin and bones. She seems perfectly healthy and has had no signs of health issues. We are not sure if she is spayed. Or has had her vaccinations. We are looking for a home for her urgently as our cat is very timid and scared around other cats!

Story
Domino is a great cat; the perfect mix of attention seeking/purring, playful and aloof. We are trying to train him on a harness/leash, and he's comfortable in the car in his kennel, great at the vet. He does very well being left alone day/night; he knows how to entertain himself, but also loves being played with. He loves food and treats and wants to please. Domino deserves a home where he can roam and play, so we are trying to find him a good home. I think he would do well with adults and kids, and possibly a dog. He is very personable when meeting new humans and super sweet. I can't emphasize enough that he is a good cat, and I'm sad to have to adopt him out, but he deserves somewhere he can be more a part of a family. He came to us one day as a stray and literally walked into our home screaming to be fed. He was definitely a housecat before that. Unfortunately, he and my male cat do not get along, so I'm not sure how he would do with other cats. Otherwise, he's good for a new home.

Story
She’s a sweetheart, I found her 4 years ago in my old neighborhood and started putting food out and gave her a bed on my front porch. She would wander during the day and come back every night. I got her rabies shots early on but haven’t redone them. I moved and took her with me, eventually bringing her inside the house and she’s definitely a house cat now! Got her shots the first year or so and haven’t in a couple years now but she’s healthy and happy!

Story
He need some proper care and he needs his kitty litter cleaned every other day or he will pee under the kitty litter, he doesn’t get along with male cats he gets along with dogs very well, absolutely no female cats he will try to attack and hump the female, he doesn’t like to be picked up very often, he hides away from new people, make sure you get him Nutered. But he’s very loving and he’s a sweet cat and loves attention and loves to sleep with his Humans, his age he’s 8 years old not sure what his birthday is though but overall he’s a cute cat and is very affectionate and happy cat, he can be grumpy at times though (Fair warning you he does meow in the morning for food around 6-7am and his feeding times at night is 7pm on the dot ) feed him every 2 days food in the morning and food at night. (Hope you like him 🧡).

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Prince is a orange tabby with a handsome coat and face.  He is approximately 5-7 years old. He has lived in a shelter  for a number of years after his owner passed away.  Prince is a very cautious guy around new humans but loves the company of other cats. He has come a long way since first arriving at the shelter. He enjoys being brushed, rubbed with scatcher, and petted on his back. He loves Fancy Feast too! Prince would be consider a "socially awkard cat".  What is a socially awkward cat?  Some cats are shy, timid, or fearful of people and other cats. They may hide, avoid, or even lash out when approached by strangers. These cats are not mean or unlovable; they are just socially awkward and need extra time and patience to trust and bond with their human companions. They may never become affectionate lap cats, but they have their own unique ways of showing love and appreciation. If you are looking for a cat who will challenge you, surprise you, and reward you with loyalty and devotion, then you might be the perfect match for one of our socially awkward cats.   Because these cats require more patience and understanding than most, we have a few special policies regarding them:   We will ask more questions about your home environment, other pets, children, and other details to make sure you are the right match for the cat. Please don't be discouraged if you are not the right fit! We have many other cats, and one of them is sure to be a fit. We typically arrange video meet-and-greets for these cats for the initial contact. Most of these cats get stressed out by new situations, and allowing them to be seen without that stress trigger makes for a better experience for everyone. We may discount the adoption fees for these cats. Our first priority is to find the right match between cat and human, and we realize that these kitties may take more time than most to settle in and determine compatibility.   If you think you may be the right fit for Prince or another one of our socially awkward cats, please fill out an interest form today!  back to topVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    Our adoption fee is $175       If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Cat Interest Form on AZRAIN.ORG and, if you are selected as a prospective adopter, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet. Thank you for considering rescuing an animal in need!     April 22, 2024, 10:47 pm
