Story
Super sweet, 2-yr old lovable cat, ready for a new home. We adopted her without knowing I’m super allergic to cats. So sad to find her a new home where she can be free to love on and roam her new family. She gets along with friendly dogs and kids, non destructive and easy to clip her nails. She’s currently living outside in the shade on my patio - too hot and dangerous for a domesticated sweet girl. Please only serious inquiries please. Rehoming fee $100. Comes with bowls, food, beds, cat condo/house and brand new scratch post.

Story
Sylvia is a sweet, playful cat approximately 7-8 years old. She was found as a stray kitten. Her owner has entered hospice and Sylvia needs to go to a good, loving home. She is shy but curious with new people and warms up fairly quickly. She has lived with a dog and another cat previously, was very cautious but warmed up to both.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Prince is a orange tabby with a handsome coat and face.  He is approximately 5-7 years old. He has lived in a shelter  for a number of years after his owner passed away.  Prince is a very cautious guy around new humans but loves the company of other cats. He has come a long way since first arriving at the shelter. He enjoys being brushed, rubbed with scatcher, and petted on his back. He loves Fancy Feast too! Prince would be consider a "socially awkward cat".  What is a socially awkward cat?  Some cats are shy, timid, or fearful of people and other cats. They may hide, avoid, or even lash out when approached by strangers. These cats are not mean or unlovable; they are just socially awkward and need extra time and patience to trust and bond with their human companions. They may never become affectionate lap cats, but they have their own unique ways of showing love and appreciation. If you are looking for a cat who will challenge you, surprise you, and reward you with loyalty and devotion, then you might be the perfect match for one of our socially awkward cats.   Because these cats require more patience and understanding than most, we have a few special policies regarding them:   We will ask more questions about your home environment, other pets, children, and other details to make sure you are the right match for the cat. Please don't be discouraged if you are not the right fit! We have many other cats, and one of them is sure to be a fit. We typically arrange video meet-and-greets for these cats for the initial contact. Most of these cats get stressed out by new situations, and allowing them to be seen without that stress trigger makes for a better experience for everyone. We may discount the adoption fees for these cats. Our first priority is to find the right match between cat and human, and we realize that these kitties may take more time than most to settle in and determine compatibility.   If you think you may be the right fit for Prince or another one of our socially awkward cats, please fill out an interest form today!  Prince has become bonded to his bestie Bourbon - they do everything together and help each other navigate the scariness of the world together!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    Our adoption fee is $175       If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Cat Interest Form on AZRAIN.ORG and, if you are selected as a prospective adopter, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet. Thank you for considering rescuing an animal in need!     November 15, 2024, 9:59 am

Story
Finn is an intelligent and social cat. He loves being around people, and is fine with dogs. He is very routine, and will often remind you to fill his food bowl if he sees the even the slightest bit of the bottom. He is obsessed with sink water, and you will often find him napping away in a sink bowl. He is very agile and healthy for his age.

Story
This was one of my sister's cats. My sister passed away recently. We were able to rehome the others and deal with the ferrels but this one is an indoor cat that is a bit skittish and really was only close to my sister. It is our understanding that the cat was not good with the other cats and needs to be in a single cat home. Due to her skittishness, we do not think she would do well in a home with dogs. We are needing to deal with my sisters house, which has been emptied now and the next step is to get it cleaned and on the market. We must find a home for this cat asap. She is 7 years old. She will need alot of TLC but is a lovely cat. Hoping someone can help.
