Story
I am Moonbeam a quiet settled guy of 10+ yrs. I tend to lay low during the day and am more active in the evening especially dinner time. I was shy when I first arrived at my foster home which includes 3 other cats from young to older than me. I'm not a huggy kissy guy - ew! but I will come for regular pets and visits, I'm being treated for my thyroid which is not unusual at my age. I take my liquid meds fine with my meal. I'm happy with Fancy Feast Turkey flavors and little dry food too. I'd best in a quiet house, where I can settle in to my routine and not be started by loud noise.. Older kids and other cats are fine as long as they are kind and can give me a bit pf space.

Story
Super sweet 10 year old cat. She has been our son’s cat, but he is now at college and our lifestyle means that we are away from the house too much. Marbles is the most gentle cat you will ever meet - she will be shy at first and likely will be timid with other dogs and cats. She was pre-diabetic which we have managed with special food - we’ll give you a case of that food or some money to buy a couple months of the food if you would like. Her shots are up to date (Sept 2023 yearly physical will be done) and we’ll give you all the things you need - litter boxes, litter, carrying case. We love her and want her with a family who will be around more than we are!

Story
Tony and Winnie came to us from a sibling who moved to an apartment where they could no longer have cats in NYC. They are brother and sister and are totally inseparable. Winnie (Winslow) is smaller and more adventurous than Tony. Tony is more willing to cuddle and is a little more shy initially. They are super sweet but we already have three guinea pigs and can’t always give Tony and Winnie the attention they deserve. Both kitties love to hunt bugs and other small animals so they would not do well in a family that already has rodents or other very small pets. A schedule that involves frequent travel would also be an issue for them as they get very attached to their space and the humans they live with. They are incredibly sweet and we would love to find them a loving forever home! Medicals records and vaccines updated on 9/19/23.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Maximus was originally found in Florida at a trailer park in 2016. He was flown up to Boston, MA and brought to the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, MA. From there I adopted Max in 2017 when he was 1.5 years. I saw him in a cat room alone in a cage alone. So my gut told me that he can't be with other cats. I don't know how he is with dogs. He is great with children, however I'd be careful around toddlers as they are unpredictable. I would say he'd be ok with children 5 and up. Max does not mind to be picked up, but not held for long. He loves to cuddle and sit on your lap. Max has had Urinary health issues a few times within the 6 years I've had him. Urinary health in male cats and dogs are very common and need to be on a special urinary diet food. Max loves to play with stringed toys and have the occasional catnip. He's also very sociable with guests and visitors. Max has a lot of anxiety and would do better with a daily calming aid, med or a feliway plug in.

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Needs to be a single cat at home, we adopted Mizuru(Mama) from the MSPCA in Methuen but she is unable to fit with my cat who is extremely loving and patient. She has sensitive skin and is on gabipatin to reduce or balance her temperament. She loves to sit next to you and cuddle. But not touched. Needs a lot more time to build trust before she allows you to touch her. She needs lots of love and attention. She is neutered and vaccinated. She has been in the shelter for almost a year and we would love it if she could be rehomed to a house that is willing to give her the attention and love she needs. I’ve seen her enjoying herself, running around and chilling when my other cat is at the groomers. She needs to be the only cat.
