Story
Shadow is 17 and acts half his age. We inherited him when my mother passed last fall. He is very loving and needs a lot of attention. The best situation would be someone who is home most of the time. He has a thyroid condition and takes a pill a day (willingly, stuffed inside a treat!) He has never been around other animals and I don't know how he would be around small children. He mostly ignored the great grandchildren when they visited my mother. He is very giving and affectionate one-on-one. Our spring/summer/fall travel back and forth to NH is the reason to find him another home. We don't think bringing him back and forth would be a good idea.

Story
Hello, darling. My name is Queeny, though my friends call me Queen Bee. I'm 14 years young, and I know exactly who I am: a loving, loyal companion who prefers to reign as the only feline in the kingdom. My world changed when my beloved owner passed away, but a kind person took me in and showed me that there are still good humans out there. Now I'm hoping to find my next forever home. If you're looking for a cat who will be your shadow, your bedtime snuggle buddy, and your personal emotional support specialist, I may be your girl. I love curling up next to my people at night, giving sweet head butts, and reminding you that you're loved. My foster human says I'm wonderful with children. I'm patient, gentle, and happy to soak up all the affection they want to give. While I adore people, I would really prefer not to share my home with other cats. At this stage of my life, I'd like all the attention for myself, thank you very much. The good news? I'm pretty low maintenance. Give me a cozy place to nap, some love, and a family to call my own, and I'll be content. After 14 years, I've learned that the best things in life are simple: kindness, cuddles, and companionship. Could your home be my next kingdom? Love, Queeny (Queen Bee)

Story
Loki is a sweet cat that is quiet and gentle. We’ve had her for fourteen years. She loves being near you and will seek out attention and love, but isn’t one for being picked up or held. She doesn’t get along with dogs, nor cats and will likely hide or be very submissive. We don’t have children, but we suspect she’ll be extremely cautious and afraid around them. She’s developed some behavioral issues recently which is why we’re trying to find her a better home than ours. Our other cat has become a bit of a bully and we think Loki has been stressed out. She likely needs a home where she can be on her own without the pressures of other animals.

Story
She is a 5-year-old cat who has been with me through several life changes and moves over the past few years. She is affectionate in her own way and enjoys being around people, often sitting nearby while I work or relax. I would describe her as curious, gentle, playful, and sometimes attention-seeking. I am looking for a stable and caring home where she can have more interaction, routine, and engagement, and where her personality and needs can continue to thrive. To help make the transition easier, I would also be happy to continue her pet (Lemonade) insurance for the first 2 months and provide her supplies to help her settle into a new home. I hope this can serve as compensation for the adoption fee.

Story
I’ve been Dusty’s owner since he was 6 months old. He was found outside by my nephew. I took him in. It was 02/13/2013. He has quite a bit of medical issues that have brought me to do what I’m doing now. I’ve lost a lot of income and don’t have the resources to keep him. I’ve never heard him hiss. He’s never scratched or bit anyone. Was very helpful and sweet when my daughter was born. Slept in her crib with her, let her sleep on him as if he’s a pillow. He was always very close nearby like a big brother. He Let’s me cut his nails. He is vocal and will meow back at me if I talk to him. Makes eye contact. Is very accepting of everybody. He is very well behaved and is interested in new people. He’s a sweet boy and I’m looking to rehome him to a family with time, compassion and the financial support he needs to get better. He has lived with a small parrot that he never harmed however I did keep my eyes on the when she was outside of her cage. You will love him. I certainly do. <3

Story
Gizmo is about to turn 2 years old on August 7. I adopted him from the mspca as a 12 week old kitten shortly after I graduated college. The last cats he was around were his roughly 6 litter mates who he got along well with. He is the first cat I have ever had (my family had dogs growing up) so to be honest I was kind of learning as I went with him. I just made sure to give him plenty of attention and love. As he has grown, I have gotten a busier work schedule, and have found it difficult to give him the regular attention and play that he loves. I ultimately made the decision to find a new home for him due to my plans to move to New York, where I anticipate having even less time to spend with him, and being on a tighter budget. He has been on a plane and moved apartments once already with me, and so far seems to be very resilient with change and new experiences. I am looking for someone who will have time to play with him, and who has experience owning cats.
