Story
Hi, I’m Ellie. I’m a 3-year-old female cat currently in a foster home in greater Boston area. I love quiet corners where I can watch the world softly. I’m quite the thinker, you know? My days are filled with gentle play and little adventures around my cozy nook. I might be a bit shy at first, but give me a little time, and I’ll show you my goofy side. I’m looking for someone who appreciates a sweet, mellow companion. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to add warmth to your home, I’m your girl. Let’s make our own quiet, happy world together. ats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to providing a safe, loving home for life, then please submit a Pre-Adoption Form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSejVc_RDDfTTGUh2vHmc7At2SUjwTkJlYHgytgSaH6-qESYrQ/viewform

Story
My name is Crispy, and I’m a 1 year old DSH male kitty. I was found outside fending for myself but I much prefer indoor cat life with my people, lounging around them, and playing with toys. I am an energetic guy and want a lot of playtime and attention so I’d really love to have a female friend who wants to play. My favorite toy is a metal kitty fishing rod. I wasn’t taught great manners earlier in life so I’m still trying to figure out how to kindly tell my foster mom to hurry up with dinner and so I probably would do best in a house with only people over age 10. Also while I was unfortunately outdoors I contracted FIV. I’m otherwise healthy and can live a long and happy life. I’ll be there waiting at the door for you when you come home!

Story
My name is Ruby. I came to Kitty Connection from outside where I had my baby. Kitty Connection found a great family to love her and now it’s my turn. I’m looking for a very special person. You see I’m quite shy. I don’t feel comfortable being touched and will retreat if you try. When you are with me I might just stay on the other side of the room or run away from you but as soon as another cat comes into the room I get brave and I feel more relaxed. I will come out to see what’s up and become more playful. My foster mom is very gentle with me and enjoys the small steps we make together like petting me with a soft toy. She says even though I’m independent i’m also very sweet and she loves having me with her. She says the way I look at her tells her I’m trying to figure this new world out and makes her so happy to be a part of it. ***Update*** I’m out and about in the house now and I’ve been exploring, eating with the other cats, and enjoying the treats my foster mom gives us. I will go up to her for treats but retreat right after.I can’t tell you how long it will take for me to trust, might not ever be a lap cat but if you can enjoy my independence, have the love and patience to let me settle in slowly and have a friendly cat to show me the way then I’d love to meet you.

Story
Sweet 5-Month-Old Kitten (Luna) Looking for a Loving Indoor Home 🐾 This sweet 5-month-old black kitten is looking for her forever family, ideally an indoor-only home with cat experience or a family that already has a friendly cat. Her brother Leo (orange tabby) has already been adopted. Luna is a little timid at first, but with patience and a gentle environment, she becomes very sweet, cuddly, and affectionate. Once she feels safe, she loves quiet companionship and cozy snuggles. Having another cat around could help her feel more confident and comfortable. She is up to date on all her shots and is healthy, but she will still need to be spayed when she’s old enough. We’re hoping to find a calm, loving home that understands shy kitties and will give her the time and care she needs to fully blossom. If you think your home might be a good fit, please reach out—we’d love to see her go to the perfect family. Pet fee: $0

Story
Simcha's owner passed unexpectedly, and he and a second cat needed a new home on short notice. We've homed him for about six months now and are very fond of him, but ultimately he's too expensive for us (I was laid off a year ago now; any cat would be a lot, but he's a senior cat with a couple medications). He also doesn't quite get along with the other younger cat, which can be stressful. He's a real sweetheart, spends most of his days curling up and following sunbeams, though he does like to bother someone for some brushing once in a while. He's a little rickety and seemed quite nervous and solitary when he first moved in, but he's warmed up considerably since we've gotten to know him, especially since we got him to a vet and started managing his arthritis (I don't think he had great care in his previous home). We love him, but it's difficult to fit him into our lives right now, and we'd love to find him a home where he fits perfectly.
