Story
Pepper is a female cat. My husband and I took her in when my niece found her, but unfortunately need to find her a new home due to an unexpected situation making us move to a place she cant move with us. Also due to the short time with us, we were not able to get her spayed or get any vaccines. So that is something she will definitely need. She is a sweet loving kitty, loves to play but also loves to snuggle. She is littler box trained as well.

Story
Simon is a sweet almost 7 year old cat who loves to be around people/kids. He’s chatty sometimes with his cute meows. He most likely will take time to warm up to a new family as we have had him since he was a kitten. My husband developed an allergy and we’ve tried everything. Hoping to find a loving home for Simon.

Story
Meet Lady Jane! This little lady is ready to be your new best friend! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/ This precious gal is ready to snuggle her way into your heart. She is a darling girl who wants to be your new best friend. She loves to play hard (especially with her brothers) and then settle down for a good nap with her kitten and human friends. She's a good little gal who is looking for her forever home!! Her three brothers have already been adopted but little Lady Jane is still waiting for her turn!! Lady Jane and her brothers were rescued from living outside on the harsh streets of Houston by a good Samaritan. They are so happy they get to live the inside cat life!! Lady is ~6 months old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litter box tidy - all she needs now is her forever home. Lady Jane has not met a dog before, but with slow and careful introductions to a well-behaved dog we think she will do great with a new pup sibling! Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Adopt Lady and maybe one of her adorable siblings, and double the love, double the purrs, and double the fun! Information on why adopting two kittens is better for their short- and long-term health can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Lady Jane is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. ——— ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! To learn more about our TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) efforts, please follows us on Instagram @roses_rescues_htx. (All adoption fees also include transportation costs, spay/neuter of the animal, vaccinations, and microchipping.)

Story
Meet Bootzie! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Bootzie is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. Bootzie is a handsome boy with truly stunning markings that make him stand out wherever he goes. Once a feral kitty, Bootzie has been making incredible progress and is learning to rust more every day. He now allows gentle handling-he can be picked up and enjoys soft pets from someone he knows. Bootzie is an independent little entertainer who's perfectly happy making his own fun. One of his favorite games? Knocking pecans off the table one by one until they hit the floor-then chasing and batting them around like his own personal toys. It's as adorable as it sounds. Because of his background, Bootzie will need a patient and understanding home willing to continue helping him build confidence and feel safe. He may be shy at first, but with time and consistency, his sweet side really shines through. If you're looking for a unique, playful companion and have the patience to help him fully blossom, Bootzie just might be your guy. Bootzie is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! He's never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think he could learn to love a new dog friend. Bootzie would do best in a quieter home without young children, where his boundaries can be respected and his progress can continue at his own pace. Bootzie's foster sibling is Ace (FIV+) (M) --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Story
Meet Chester! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat --- Chester is a charming gentleman with a big personality and an even bigger heart. If you are looking for a cat who truly adores people, Chester is you guy. He's incredibly affectionate, not shy in the slightest, and will happily soak up every bit of attention you're willing to give. In fact, he insists on it. Chester loves to curl up right on top of you, shower you with little kisses, and be held like a baby-he's all about closeness and connection. In fact, sometimes he's so overwhelmed by his feelings he will give you a little "love nip". It's a cute trait, but can be alarming to a new cat owner who isn't expecting it ;) --- Chester is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health, despite his FIV+ diagnosis. He does a great job of keeping his litterbox tidy. All he needs now is his forever home! Chester gets along well with other cats and would likely enjoy a feline companion. He hasn't been around dogs or children and due to his "love bites", he'd do best in a home without young kids. If you're ready for a cuddly, affectionate, slightly mischievous best friend, Chester is waiting to meet you! --- *Chester is FIV+ What is FIV? https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv *Chester can safely live with other cats, as the risk of FIV transmission is extremely low, especially in stable, non-aggressive households. Cats with FIV can live long, healthy lives with proper care, including regular annual vet visits. To ensure his continued health, Chester must remain an indoor-only cat. Chester is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along their route. --- ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs.
