Story
Meet Clementine!! This girl is looking for her forever home for the new year!! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/cat Clementine joined our foster program after being found with a new litter of kittens by a Good Samaritan! Her babies are all weaned now, and she is ready for her forever home. Clementine is approximately 2yrs old. She loves to be near her person getting the pets she definitely deserves. Clementine is so sweet and calm, but we think she will be quite playful in her forever home. She can be a bit sensitive about being pet on her hind end, so she is best with older kids and cat-savvy people. She would be an excellent only cat, or will do just fine with a buddy or friendly resident cat. She definitely prefers to keep her "clan" small though after raising litters of kittens all on her own -- who can blame her?! This lovely little lady is such a joy and will be a great addition to a calm, cat-savvy household. She's sweet as can be, ready to give love and snuggles, and is hoping for someone to give her a chance this holiday season! Could that person be you? --- Clementine will be microchipped, spayed, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. She is in excellent health! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Clementine is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. ——— ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! To learn more about our TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) efforts, please follows us on Instagram @roses_rescues_htx. (All adoption fees also include transportation costs, spay/neuter of the animal, age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipping.)

Meet Scoobie!! This handsome guy and his best bud Jimmy Jr. are searching for their forever home in the new year!!! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/cat Scoobie is ~9 month old! After being found as a stray, Scoobie quickly settled into life as an indoor kitten. He loves to play with toys and foster siblings. He is a huge fan of sleeping in dog beds or large cat beds with his best buddy Jimmy Jr.. When the mood strikes him, he will zip up and down the halls chasing balls or other rolling toys. At night both boys will join their people on the bed for cuddles. Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Scoobie has not met a dog before, but with slow and careful introductions to a well-behaved dog we think he would do great with a new pup sibling! --- Information on why adopting two kittens is better for their short- and long-term health can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens Scoobie will be microchipped, neutered, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption. They are in excellent health! The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Scoobie is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. ——— ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Story
I adopted Earl and his brother Grey when they were little kittens. I had originally went in to adopt Grey but my roommate at the time came along and fell in love with Earl. Earl was cuddly right off the bat, didn’t have to warm up, he’s just the most loving cat. We decided we couldn’t separate the brothers and took both home. I’ve had them both for 8 years, but my partner is allergic and we have a baby on the way and they won’t be loved and cared for like they deserve to be. They have been around children and dogs and although high energy dogs can make them both a little skittish, they both warm up quickly. Earl loves to cuddle at night and will lick you to show affection. He’s very easy going. Will greet you at the door. Easy to clip his nails, I can even demonstrate when we meet. Has never bit or scratched me on purpose.

Story
This posting is for two cats who are a bonded sibling pair that need to remain together. They were TNRd and released very young and ended up at my house. I've been feeding and socializing them for about six months. I do not know the sex of either cat and they don’t really have names. One of them is extremely social and sweet (you’d never know it was once a totally outdoor, unsocialized cat!), the other is still pretty shy and really relies on its sibling for social cues and support. They will make great pets, but we unfortunately can't keep them. Their ideal home is the one where they can remain together! My kids (5 and 8) have been helping with them quite a bit and the braver cat one loves them! It tries to get in their way when they need to leave to keep getting attention. They are little box trained and have been comfortable in my finished basement and garage. I really just need to find these kitties a home!

Hazel is very friendly and affectionate She 3 years old Loves to play and is very active Hazel is intelligent, learned her new name in just a few weeks. She came to us from the Tacoma Humane Society with no known past but with a severe flea allergy which is kept in check with monthly medication. Has been allergy free since Hazel loves to be petted and is a lap cat Hazel should be an only pet because she attacks other cats I don’t think she was raised around other animals and is afraid of them

Van Gogh is a sweet, sociable kitty we absolutely love! We just can keep him anymore because we found out we are allergic :( We adopted him from the Auburn Humane Society Cat Cafe in December 2025 so he is legit, up to date, and ready to re-home. He has cat beds and food bowls and a water fountain and litter box and toys we collected that can come with him. We are sad to let him go because we love him so much. So he needs a loving new home to join.

LIKES TO BE HELD TO YOUR CHEST WITH HER PAWS OVER YOUR SHOULDERS DOB 4/13/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Pluto, a sweet, loving, and very playful Bombay mix gal with copper-penny eyes and a sleek, shiny black-patent leather coat who can be a little shy at times. I have a little ritual every morning in that I come to Foster Meowmy for love and cuddles. Although a lot of my siblings like to be held tummy-up like a baby, I prefer for Foster Meowmy to hold me to her chest with my paws over her shoulder. And whereas my siblings seem to love being held endlessly, I start nibbling on Foster Meowmy if she holds me too long! After my feral momma birthed Karma, Jupiter, Opal, and me outside of Foster Meowmy’s house, she moved us to inside a neighbor’s car (through the open window, I might add). Then Meowmy moved us to a box on her porch, but when Momma saw some neighbors pick us up, she moved us a few doors down to a used-car business. Imagine Foster Meowmy’s surprise when she looked inside an old car and found not only us under the driver’s seat but also another litter of four kittens under the passenger’s seat!! She gathered up both of our stowaway litters and carefully placed us in boxes on her porch so that we could safely nurse. Our mommas continued to move us multiple times, and Foster Meowmy always managed to find us and put us back in our weaning boxes. Finally, when we were five weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home where she could care for all of us. She even was the perfect feline Florence Nightingale when she administered antibiotic ointment to some of our crusty eyes. Now that we’re fat and sassy, you can imagine the kitten mayhem that goes on inside our big foster bathroom! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. We’ve all got a little mischief in our genes because we love to escape the foster bathroom, but I’m usually the mastermind who comes up with the most ingenious way to escape our foster bathroom and lead my siblings behind me. And once I am loose in the house, I’m very good at hiding so Foster Meowmy can’t return me to the bathroom. I love Foster Meowmy and am so grateful that she gave me a chance at the fabulous indoor life of a pampered pet. Now I’m ready to bring my loving, cuddly demeanor to my forever family. Arrange to meet me today, and Foster Meowmy will show you how I like to be held to her chest so I can look over her shoulder. If you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting me with one of the other seven #car-stowaways. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 25-0614-A048 Pluto is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. TUGS ON YOUR HEARTSTRINGS DOB 6/15/22 Meet Taco! This beautiful black kitty was found with a rumbling tummy outside a taco truck — so naturally, her name is Taco! Now safe and cozy in her foster home, Taco is living her best life and enjoying all the good things: soft blankets, chin scratches, and sunny windowsills. Taco is a gentle soul with a sweet personality. She gets along with both cats and dogs, but like any lady with standards, she may need a little time to settle into a new place. Once she does, she’ll reward you with purrs, head boops, and quiet companionship. If you're looking for a classy little foodie with a big heart, Taco might be the perfect match! HOPE ID 24-0309-G058 Taco is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. VELCRO KITTY WHO LOVES TO CUDDLE DOB 4/1/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Onyx, a sweet, loving, and very playful Bombay mix fella with copper-penny eyes and a sleek, shiny black-patent leather coat. Bombays are often called Velcro cats because we like to stick so close to our hoomans, and I am always delighted to spend time cuddling with Foster Meowmy any chance I can grab. You see, I have to share her time and attention with my three littermates as well as another litter of four kittens. Here’s the story: My feral momma birthed Obsidian, Jasper, Topaz, and me underneath the seat of an old car parked in a used-car business . Foster Meowmy’s finding us when we were only about three weeks old might never have happened if she hadn’t been trying to rescue the other set of kittens whom another feral momma had birthed outside of Foster Meowmy’s house. The other momma had moved her litter from Meowmy’s yard to inside her neighbor’s car (through the open window, I might add) and ultimately a few doors down to the used-car business. Imagine Meowmy’s surprise when she found not only the kittens she’d been tracking under the driver’s seat but also my litter under the passenger’s seat!! She gathered up both of our "stowaway" litters and carefully placed us in boxes on her porch so that we could safely nurse. Our mommas continued to move us multiple times, and Foster Meowmy always managed to find us and put us back in our weaning boxes. Finally, when we were seven weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home where she could care for all of us. She even was the perfect feline Florence Nightingale when she administered antibiotic ointment to some of our crusty eyes. Now that we’re fat and sassy, you can imagine the kitten mayhem that goes on inside our big foster bathroom! All eight of us tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I love to sleep in the bathroom sink because it’s my favorite “bed” when I need a little “time out” from the kitten frenzy. We’ve all got a little mischief in our genes because we love to escape the foster bathroom so we can play with the resident two-year-old cat and explore Foster Meowmy's bedroom. I love Foster Meowmy and am so grateful that she gave me a chance at the fabulous indoor life of a pampered pet. Now I’m ready to bring my stunning good looks and affectionate cuddling to my forever family. Could that be you? Arrange to meet me today, and if you’re looking for a pair of kittens, please consider adopting me with one of the other seven #car-stowaways. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we could be adopted together so we could be playmates and cuddle buddies while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID 25-0614-A041 Onyx is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption.
