Story
I rescued Bella 1.5 years ago from her carrier next to a dumpster. She had just given birth and her owners were throwing her away. She is very sweet, smart and well-behaved. She LOVES to play, explore, to receive attention, but not a lap cat ...yet). A calm environment with someone who works from home or retired, without another cat. She is social with people and a couple might work if calm household. She is confident and doing well now, but my studio apt is small and sometimes too loud for her (neighbors below). I think she would thrive in a larger space where she can run. She is also used to a clean apt, clean litter box and well-cared for and this is important to me to find the same. She deserves and appreciates it. I have no idea if she is good with dogs or cats or kids and this site does not accept 'unknown' as the choice, keeps reverting to 'no'. She loves people and is very social, but needs a calmer environment.

Story
Meet Huanhuan! I first welcomed Huanhuan into my life from a trusted local shelter. He is now 5 years old and has always been a bundle of energy and fun. About Huanhuan: • Age: 5 years old • Personality: Huanhuan is playful and curious, truly embodying the adventurous spirit of a cat. However, he can be a bit shy and wary around strangers, so a gentle introduction is always appreciated. The Reason for Rehoming: Huanhuan grew up with his birth sister, Nana, and for the longest time, they got along well. However, in the past few months, their relationship took a turn. Huanhuan has been persistently chasing and biting Nana, making it stressful for both of them. Nana is a quieter soul who finds it hard to cope with Huanhuan’s relentless energy. It’s heartbreaking, but to ensure the well-being of both cats, I’ve decided it’s best to find Huanhuan a new home where he can be the center of attention without causing distress to another feline companion. Story
For the first 10 weeks of his life, Auggie was a barn cat in southwestern WA. He is "skiddish", but very warm and affectionate with those he trusts. Easily startled and often in hiding during the day and he's also very prone to "zoomies" where he runs around the house like a crazy thing. He LOVES LOVES LOVES to play and is incredible as a mouser or an insect-removal agent where he lives. Auggie needs to be outside and he will be eaten where we live, so that's not an option for us.

Story
Our cats name is Cocaine, everyone calls her Coca or Beans. We got her a few years ago from a friend who had a litter and needed homes. Coca's lived with big dogs and doesn't seem to have a problem with kids. She's always been an indoor cat and is not fixed.

Story
Hi Furrrriends! We are looking for a forever home for our cat Joey. Sadly our little boy is allergic to cats. Also, Joey is a bit rough and he has now bit our boy.. Joey is very playful but he is too rough to play with a toddler. He cant help giving love bites but he bites way too hard. Joey is a 6-7 year old healthy male cat. He is overweight at about 22 lbs. We adopted him from a shelter so we are not so sure of his age. He is very friendly and loves to cuddle and play! He gets along with other cats but he does play rough. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions. Thanks!

Story
Beautiful Coco Chanel is a petite kitty approximately 11-12 months old. She’s tiny and will be small all her life. She weighs about 6 lbs. She loves attention and to get pets and scratches. Coco enjoys sleeping in her big fluffy cat bed and lounging on the cat tree watching out the window at her current foster home. Coco is polite and friendly to strangers but will be somewhat wary of you until she knows you. She was originally found as a thin stray starving older kitten competing with other hungry cats for food on the streets. She since has been fully vetted, and well adjusted as an house cat enjoying her foster home indoor life. She has learned that she no longer has to compete for food attention or warm cushy nap places. Coco is a gorgeous silver tabby with a white undercoat. The silver spots are only on the tips of her fur. She has pretty sage green eyes and a ringed tail. The photos just don’t do her beauty justice. We don’t know her breed mix but the cat breed photo identifier app comes up with her being possibly mixed with Egyptian Mau or American Shorthair. It’s anyone’s guess! Coco will coexist peacefully in a multi cat household but seems to prefer mellow male cats and playful kittens over other females. She would be purrfectly happy being an only cat. She will let you pick her up on her terms once she trusts you (which doesn’t take long). She does have a tendency to startle/spook easily at sudden loud noises and movements but it is just her survival street instincts that kick in from time to time. Once she realizes something isn’t a threat she’s fine. Coco has absolutely no desire to go outdoors anymore and would prefer an indoor only home. She’s charming, smart and pretty mellow for such a young kitty. Foster home is located in Federal way and hoping to find her furrever home for the first time in her life!! Submit an online application at rainrescue-wa.org and go to the adopt tab. Adoption application can alternatively be found by copying and pasting the following link into your web browser: https://forms.gle/wKXEEdWiZG5DNjfe6 Adoption fee is $200. Coco Chanel is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and current on flea prevention.
