Story
Fifi was born in June of 2015, so she is almost 9 years old. She is a very sweet girlie. She is playful and loves to be the boss of the house. Important to note: Fifi had an autoimmune disorder (hemolytic anemia) that popped out when she was about 4 years old. This is where her body attacks her red blood cells basically. She had to have a feeding tube in to survive, and still almost died. She was quite timid prior to this whole event, but after she made it through (and has not been sick since), she came back to normal after a few months, and lives life to the fullest! She owns whatever space she is in. This disease will hopefully remain in remission, but there is no guarantee. We feel safe adopting her out at this point since it has been in remission this long. She really deserves a loving home of her very own. She cannot have flea meds applied or have regular vaccines, so she must remain a fully indoor cat, without the exposure of other animals that go in and out that could allow for flea exposure. She can't come into contact with chemical bug sprays, even if they are pet safe (as this is one suspicion of what may have originally caused the disorder to pop out). She is beyond amazing and has such a personality that she is well worth the extra precautions! She does not always like to be picked up, she will kick her back legs sometimes, but she loves to lay by you and follow you around. She usually does not get along with other cats, but she does do well with one kitty she has been around for a long time-Sebastian, so we are listing them as a bonded pair... but they can go separately as well. She does ok with smaller, calm dogs, but not larger or more energetic ones. Fifi is spayed, but due to her auto immune disease cannot have other vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.

Story
Hank is about ten years old. He has lived with me since he was about two months old. He is very laid back and enjoys just lying on the couch or under a pile of blankets on the bed. He is not the most playful but does enjoy occasionally batting things around on the floor. Full disclosure: he can get very worked up while he is getting pets and will start wrestling. He forgets and will bite or scratch a little too hard. When I recognize this I just disengage and he will quit. He used to be about 25 pounds. He is down to around 16. He seems to be hungry all the time and is very vocal about it. This is one of the reasons I am needing to rehome him. He has been neutered and has rabies shots. He does not enjoy going to the vet. He dislikes traveling and will urinate in his crate. And the time in his crate, he will cry. But he has never been a fighter when it comes to gettin him in the crate. He really is a great cat. I am just unable to give him the attention he needs anymore.

Story
I rescued Bella after her owners put her next to a dumpster to be thrown away on trash day. She had just given birth and was around 8 mos old. Since then she has been spayed, vaccinated and well cared for. She is very sweet, smart, well-behaved, loves attention and to play and explore. She would do best in a calmer environment without other pets (? I do not know this for sure but she was afraid of my neighbors cat) and with someone who can give her lots of attention (she is social with others but terrified of young children). She is used to a very clean litter box, apartment, and being well-cared for and I seek the same for her. She does have food allergies and is on prescription diet which she has done well with. I love her very much and it breaks my heart to let her go, but I cannot afford to care for her. She is due for her yearly vaccinations and a check-up. I literally have no money nor options with rent for July, so I am hoping to find this wonderful kitten a good home asap.

A young, energetic cat, perfect for an active household. Salem is 2 and a half years old who loves cuddles and playing. Has lived in two houses with multiple cats, and could not get along at either. A wonderful cat, but needs some time to mellow out.

Story
Ron and Hermione are siblings from the same litter and grew up together since they were kittens. Ron is the ginger male, and Hermione is the black and orange female. They are good friends and watch birds, wrestle, and snuggle together. I would love to see them stay together. Ron is a lap cat through and through. Where you are, he wants to be too and will protest outside doors if that is not the case. He will happily rest by your feet, brush up against your legs, and shamelessly seek head scratches. He can be shy around strangers and prefers his person, but once he warms up to you, he is very sweet. Hermione is braver and will befriend anyone who brushes her. She’s a quiet personality who likes to sit up high on her cat tree or on the top stair and watch the ongoings. Her most dog-like trait is that she loves lying with her belly up and begging for belly scratches (see pics). The two have lived with dogs before (a Boxer, a terrier mix).

Story
Cricket is a sweet soul who loves to cuddle and prefers to be carried around on shoulders. Her gentle demeanor makes her the best companion and she loves being doted upon. She loves to chirp, talk to people, and be involved in any activity around the house. Cricket is incontenent due to a tail pull in her early days. She's worked hard on being 100% litter box trained and needs support occasionally. She will either need a space of her own or a closed off space during the night to help her stay sanitary. She also has a little nub of a tail as a result from surgery- hence the name Cricket. Once she has settled into a space, her care routine is reliable and can be maintained. She does need small acts of care throughout the day. I was guided by my therapist to get an ESA and I found the sweetest Cricket. While I love Cricket, she has unfortunately brought about too much long term illness regarding my lungs, allergies, and asthma.
