I got her from a shelter when she was eight months. She was very shy and hid immediately when I first got her. But after a while, she'll just want to cuddle and be around you all the time.

Story
This is Tucker! I got him from the humane society the end of August, and we’ve learned a lot about each other in that time! He was in pretty bad shape initially, but has healed up very well! He’s a little over a 1yo, is FIV+, and is very food motivated! Sadly, I don’t have the time, space, finance, or socializing energy he needs. I think he would be a whole lot happier if he had more play space, and if he was surrounded by more humans or even another FIV+ kitty! He’s a playful, social butterfly! He’s also quite the night owl, wanting to get my attention in many rascally ways, which I believe would be easy to turn around if I just had the energy and time to give him the attention he deserves at better hours. He’s the sweetest buddy, never a biter or intentional scratcher (though he does like making biscuits on my face, so make sure to trim his nails!). I think he needs more than I can give him right now! I’d love to find a loving forever home for him! Reach out to learn more about him!

Story
Meet Lady Jane! This little lady is ready to be your new best friend! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/ This precious gal is ready to snuggle her way into your heart. She is a darling girl who wants to be your new best friend. She loves to play hard (especially with her brothers) and then settle down for a good nap with her kitten and human friends. She's a good little gal who is looking for her forever home!! Her three brothers have already been adopted but little Lady Jane is still waiting for her turn!! Lady Jane and her brothers were rescued from living outside on the harsh streets of Houston by a good Samaritan. They are so happy they get to live the inside cat life!! Lady is ~6 months old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litter box tidy - all she needs now is her forever home. Lady Jane has not met a dog before, but with slow and careful introductions to a well-behaved dog we think she will do great with a new pup sibling! Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Adopt Lady and maybe one of her adorable siblings, and double the love, double the purrs, and double the fun! Information on why adopting two kittens is better for their short- and long-term health can be found here: http://www.kittenlady.org/twokittens The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Lady Jane is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes. ——— ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! To learn more about our TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) efforts, please follows us on Instagram @roses_rescues_htx. (All adoption fees also include transportation costs, spay/neuter of the animal, vaccinations, and microchipping.)

Story
Meet Mary – a playful, cuddle bug! Adoption Application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Mary and her brother Matt are gorgeous Agouti (or "ticked") tabbies who love to play and snuggle together. Mary is full of energy, curiosity, and just the right amount of mischief. Mary loves teaming up with her siblings for playtime shenanigans, and she’s often the one leading the charge into kitten-sized trouble (the fun kind). After all that excitement though, she’s more than happy to settle in your arms for a good cuddle. Mary is an affectionate, playful girl and will make sure she gets your attention when she needs it! She loves to be with her siblings in a cuddle pile, on your lap, or racing around the house. She's a very loving and fun little kitten and will make a great family member! Mary is ~8 months old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! Mary would thrive if adopted with one of her foster siblings. She's never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a calm, cat-savvy pup, we think she could learn to love a new dog friend. _____ The adoption application can be found here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat Mary is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, Colorado, or locations along ther route. _____ ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES: Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Story
I adopted Grey and his brother Earl when they were little kittens and have had them for 8 great years. Grey loves to cuddle at night to sleep or sit in your lap while you’re working. Neither have ever scratched me on purpose, only when I play with toys and forget they have claws. They will also let you trim their nails without a fight. Just sit criss cross and lay them on the back with tummies up and they’ll let you trim away. I’d really love for them to be adopted together. They’ve lived their whole lives together and I wouldn’t want to split them up. My partner is allergic and I’m now pregnant and can’t give them the attention they deserve. They’re very loving affection cats and deserve the same from their humans.
