Story
Gorgeous 7-year-old Bebe urgently needs her loving foster or forever family. This sweet 62-pound angel has had a tragic past, and we want to make sure Bebe lives a beautiful life filled with love and happiness going forward. Bebe’s previous owner died of an accidental overdose, and Bebe was found lying next to him, she ended up being confiscated and was taken to Downey shelter. We were asked to help sweet Bebe by an acquaintance of her previous owner, so she wouldn’t be euthanized. Bebe arrived with a horrible cough, that ended up being pneumonia, and she had to be hospitalized, and she was shut down, confused, and brokenhearted. Bebe is thankfully, over her pneumonia, but stuck at our vet boarding, and needs a loving home so she can decompress and receive the love and attention she so greatly deserves. She’s opening up and we are seeing life back in her eyes and her sweet demeanor and personality shine through. Bebe loves going on walks and will love having a yard so she can bask in the sun. Please help us help beautiful Bebe by fostering or adopting. Here are some words from her current foster: Bebe is a loving dog who gives warm kisses and loves big hugs! Her tail wags often with affection.  She LOVES to be with people! She’s excited to run and play fetch with a tennis ball or toy, chase after water from the hose, sunbathe in the yard, and rest in her cozy bed. She is a perfect walker and she’s generally not a barker. We have introduced her to a friendly dog.  She was very excited at first but then she settled in and both dogs walked nicely next to each other. She was not aggressive.  If you're interested in adopting Bebe, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of Bebe's cuteness. Our dog adoption fee, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, spaying, or neutering, is $500. If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. Doggie Bonez will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more. So, if you're interested, please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their forever home and complete the foster application.November 15, 2024, 1:05 am

Story
Affectionate and LovingWedge is an amazing 10-month-old with so much potential to be a great dog for any family! He does well with older children and other friendly dogs. He enjoys rough-housing with his foster sister and plays very nicely with the family's older dog.  Wedge is a snuggler and loves couch privileges while still doing very well in his crate.  His current foster family fell in love with him super fast and are absolutely heartbroken to have to let him go. He gets uncomfortable around strangers and is working with a trainer to help him gain confidence and work through whatever happened to him before he came to us. The trainer is positive that Wedge's training be successful. He just needs a home with stability and patience.  His current foster has a busy schedule and young children which aren't conducive to his need for consistency. He just needs more time to settle in, as all rescue dogs do, to feel secure, and gain confidence, and he will be an amazing addition to any Loving family! The foster family does think Wedge would do best with older kids. He loves being played with and loved on. Another dog in a secure backyard to make Wedge feel safe would also be ideal. He's an active puppy that would benefit greatly from walks.  He is best in a calmer home as he does have some fear issues so a family that has people coming and going may be too overstimulating for Wedge, Wedge needs people to be introduced to him in a way that makes him feel safe. We do encourage Wedge's adopter to provide him with structure, stability, consistency, tons of love, and continued training to set him up for success. His trainer will help Wedge's new family with 2 training sessions at no charge.   If you are interested in meeting Wedge, please submit a completed adoption application found under the forms tab. This way, we can schedule a meet and greet. He can also be found on our social media pages IG: @Doggie_Bonez_Inc_ and Facebook: Doggie Bonez.   Adoption fees for puppies under 1 year are $500, for young to adult dogs $400, and for our senior dogs $300. All fees include all vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, and spaying or neutering.   If adoption isn't an option, please consider fostering one of our  pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome  new short or long-term doggie foster families. We much appreciate the  help and time of our fosters. You provide all the love, comfort, and  safety of a home, and we supply you with everything else you may need,  dog food, dog bed, toys, medical attention (if required), etc. If you  are interested, please visit  www.doggiebonez.com  to see all of our  available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their fur-ever home and complete the foster application. Story
Meet Mojave! This little queen is pure love, wrapped up in a perfectly squishy English Bulldog/Frenchie mix body. Found in heartbreaking condition with obvious signs of serious neglect, Mojave had a rough start. But after receiving the medical care she desperately needed, she's now thriving in a loving foster home and ready for her forever family! Mojave is all about the slow lifea cuddle connoisseur who would happily choose a wagon ride over a walk any day. She adores people, gets along with other dogs, and is happiest glued to your side (or lap!) watching the world go by. If you're looking for a low-key best friend who's all about love, naps, and being pampered, Mojave is your girl. Bonus? Shes so easygoing a leash isn't even requiredthough she'll never say no to a wagon ride! Story
Meet Winston, a brindle Boxer mix with a heart full of love and a personality that will keep you smiling! This bundle of joy is as sweet as they come and by far the funniest! When hes happy in an open field, he bounces like a bunny, and nothing makes him happier than hopping around with a stick or a soccer ball. Winston adores people and always wants to be by your side, often resting his paw on your lap just to be a little closer. He's a big fan of ear scratches, weekend coffee dates (especially if a puppuccino is involved), and making new friends. Great with other dogs and older kids, Winston is ready to bring endless love, laughter, and companionship to his forever home! Story
Affectionate and LovingTux is a gorgeous 2 year old boxer mix male puppy, that is ready for his loving, active & happy forever family.  Tux is stunning in person and he rides beautifully in the car and is dog friendly with other friendly dogs. He loves having another playful puppy in the home to play with and he bonded with his former foster sister, who was a senior, and didn’t want to play much with Tux, but he still loved her and wanted to be with her. Tux is an absolute love and is a sensitive soul who is so deserving of his happily ever after. He loves going on walks and he is crate trained and likes seeing his loved ones, so his previous foster crates him in the master bedroom.  He’s a snuggle bug, affectionate, loving and is incredibly smart and eager to learn.  He’s great with kids that don’t mind his playful behavior and he would love a home with a secure yard to run and play in.  He also loves water and is a complete sweetheart.  Tux is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, received his wellness exam and was dewormed.  He will be an amazing addition to any loving family wanting to add a gorgeous boxer mix to their family.   November 2, 2024, 7:31 pm
