Story
Snuggler Alert! Meet Solo, my 3-year-old pit bull terrier mix with a huge heart and a love for people. He’s super affectionate, loves to cuddle and play, and is a big-time kisser who enjoys being close to his humans. He bonds quickly and settles well at home. He’ll be perfect for someone looking for a solo “ride-or-die” dog. He becomes highly excited around other dogs and has had a couple dog-to-dog incidents where excitement escalated into conflict. Because of this, he needs to be in a single-dog home with no dog park interactions or walk in high traffic areas. He is house trained, fully vaccinated, and healthy. I adopted Solo hoping he’d do well with my other dog, but learned he’s happiest as an only pet, so I’m looking for a calm single-dog home for him where he can truly thrive and bond with his human(s). Needs experienced handler who understands pitties. Willing to keep him until the perfect mom or dad comes around. He’s amazing and I will miss him dearly. Super loving.

Story
9/8/25: Emma has spent over four years, most of her life, in the shelter and foster homes. She deserves to have a person, or people, to see what we see in her and give her what she has always deserved... a furever home. Emma loves water! She would be the best adventure buddy!6 years old 70 poundsWould benefit from an active lifestyle Great with people Emma spent 627 days in a shelter in Texas. She was euth listed due to no adoption interest. We were asked to help Emma. After saving her from euthanasia she has spent over a year in a foster home totaling her days looking for a home to 995. Emma deserves to know what love is, she needs a home with no other pets and no young children. We saved Emma becuase she adores people and she has a will to live. We knew finding her a home would take longer but spending her entire life in foster is not what we want for Emma. Emma has made the journey up from San Antonio, Texas and is being fostered in Denver, available to meet! Story
Meet Elijah, a nine-year-old, neutered Staffordshire Terrier whose human is currently in hospice care and could no longer care for him and his sister Ellie. Elijah is understandably confused and needing stability at this time. He is sweet-natured with humans but also has a goofy/silly side. He enjoys the sun, his toys, and belly rubs. He could be adopted with Ellie. Could you be the one to give him a loving retirement home? Story
Sweetie Pie is the definition of gentle and loving. She’s incredibly sweet and has the cutest little snore when she sleeps — it’s impossible not to smile when you hear it. She absolutely loves getting pets and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. She’s also a great listener and responds well to commands, always eager to please. On walks, she does tend to pull on her leash because she’s just so excited to explore the world around her. She’s always happiest when she’s outside, taking in all the sights and smells. Her joyful energy and affectionate nature make her the perfect companion ##2668103##

Story
Meet one of our newest rescues, Flower! This super sweet and friendly pup is ready to be your new best friend! One of our volunteers found her wondering the streets of Downtown on Flower street which is how she got her name. Her looks also remind of us the character from Bambi because she is absolutely adorable. This poor girl was found scared and with a laceration on her head. She is in need of a warm, loving home to call her own!

Story
Ava is a beautiful, mellow girl who was rescued from Palmdale on 3/2/26 and is already showing what a loving companion she can be. In her foster home she has been sweet, affectionate, and very calm, happily relaxing on the couch, going for long walks, and enjoying time with her person. Her foster describes her as a very gentle dog who comes when called, loves affection, and settles easily in the home. She eats well, enjoys park walks, and has quickly adapted to a routine. Ava may be nervous in high-stress situations like the vet, so she’ll do best with an adopter who can move slowly with her and help her build confidence. At home, however, she has been nothing but loving and easygoing. Ava is a sweet, soulful dog who just needed a chance to decompress outside the shelter. She’s ready to find a loving home where she can continue to thrive. 🐾
