Story
Meet my sweet girl — a Christmas miracle born on December 25, 2016! My family and I brought her home as an adorable 2-month-old puppy, and she’s been the light of our lives ever since. Now 9 years young, she’s still full of puppy energy: super playful, hyper, and incredibly active — she loves zoomies, chasing toys, and turning every walk into an adventure! 🐶✨ She’s the most affectionate, loyal companion you could ask for, always ready for cuddles after playtime and quick to make you smile with her goofy antics. And yes, she’s fully kennel/crate trained — she sees her crate as her cozy safe space for relaxing or when her humans are away, which makes life easier for everyone. Her one little quirk? She’s scared of just about everything 😂— new people, loud noises, even the occasional plastic bag — but with patience and a calm, loving approach, she warms up and shows her true sweet, trusting side. She just needs someone who understands that and gives her time to feel safe.

Story
0321093 - Hi!  This sweet girl is Zoey (or "Zo Zo" as we call her in her foster home).  Zoey came to Colorado from New Mexico and is ready to find her forever home.  Zoey is a 4-5 year old boxer mix and weighs roughly 50lbs.  She is a very precious and sweet girl who loves affection, loves to give kisses and loves to get belly rubs.  She will follow you around the house to see what you are up to (and to be by your side).  She will also cuddle up next to you and let you love on her all day long!   Zoey is crate trained, potty trained, sleeps all night and likes to go on short leashed walks to take in the new sights and scents of Colorado.  She is also spayed and UTD on her vaccines.   Zoey has two foster doggy siblings.  Although they are all working on getting along, she is still a bit testy with them.  She may be happiest as an only dog, but if you have a mellow dog she may also do fine with a proper introduction to make sure that everyone gets along.  She has been introduced to her two kitty foster siblings, and doesn't show much interest so a home with cats would be fine.   Zoey would do best in calm environment where someone is home most of the day.  Zoey needs to be given the love and affection that she deserves and she promises to love and be grateful to you in return.   If you have the perfect home for this precious sweet pea, please fill out an adoption application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2083574##

Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Classic, sophisticated, and years of experience being a good girl, I'm Miracle! As a mature 10-year-old boxer/lab mix, I have many wonderful gifts for my new family. I hope you will read about me and give me the opportunity to meet you and show you how special I am. I am a graduate of a wonderful and comprehensive dog training program, where I learned all of my basic commands (and a few fancy ones, too) so I could be fully prepared to be the best girl I can be for my new home! I walk amazingly well on a leash, and I love checking out the neighborhood of my foster home with my foster sister, but I can also be 100% couch potato. I am fully crate trained and can sleep all night in my crate (full disclosure: my favorite spot is to sleep snuggled up to my 13-year-old human foster sister). My ideal home would be one with lots of love. I love attention, pets, snuggles. Keeping up with my amazing training skills is easy as I am very food motivated! I am currently fostered in a home with one other dog, and I have become BFF's with her. Through proper introductions, I get along well with other dogs. I love my foster sibling and would do well with another dog similar in size to me who also likes to wrestle and play (please check out my videos). I am a lover, not a barker, with such a sweet disposition that everyone loves. My ideal home can absolutely include older children, as I do love kids! Due to my lack of awareness of size, I could unintentionally knock over little ones. My foster home has a 13-year-old girl who lets me sleep on her bed, and I happily greet all her friends who come to visit! All her friends say I’m their favorite! All in all, I’m a very easygoing, happy girl who wants a family to call my own! If that sounds like you, I hope to meet you soon! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1174512##

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Seized / Custody/Stray to Espanola Humane in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her 8 puppies. Came with the name Pepita, spayed and UTD on vaccines. From the foster: Pepita has the sweetest heart and a serious love for her people. She’s fully potty trained and sleeps through the night in her crate. While she may not rush into the crate on her own, she settles in just fine once she’s inside. Pepita is a total people-dog who wants to be near her humans whenever possible. She’s very food motivated and eager to learn — she hasn’t mastered “sit” just yet, but she proudly stands for you every time! 😂 Pepita would do great in a home with another friendly dog who can help show her the ropes of how to “dog.” She’s learning and gaining confidence every day. She would do best in a home without cats. If you’re looking for a loving, affectionate companion who will stick close by your side, Pepita might be your perfect match. Come meet her and help her find her furever home! From the previous shelter: Meet Pepita, a 1.5-year-old Pit Bull mix with the sweetest heart and a love for people that shines through in everything she does. This lovely girl is gentle, affectionate, and always ready for some pets—she’ll happily soak up all the love you’re willing to give. Pepita enjoys saying hi to everyone she meets and greets new friends with a wagging tail and a warm smile. Her friendly, easygoing nature makes her a joy to be around, whether she’s leaning in for scratches or just hanging out by your side. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who’s full of love and eager to share it, Pepita might be the perfect addition to your family. She’s ready to find her forever home and give back endless affection. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know:Owner/Guardian Surrender/Owner Surrender from Espanola Humane in Santa Fe New Mexico. Finder said they found Sallie and her 13 puppies under their trailer. They had the mama and the puppies for about three weeks. All puppies were sick with parvo on intake and were euthanized as the shelters parvo fosters were full and unable to take on that number. Sallie tested negative. Did not respond to the name Sallie, foster calling her “Missy Moo Moo.” From the foster: Missy Moo Moo (#6, fka Sallie) is a one-year-old mama dog with a heart as big as her cuddle game. She’s the kind of pup who believes hugs are a love language and that the best place to be is right next to her people. She has medium energy, making her a wonderful balance of playful and relaxed. She enjoys her walks and has great leash manners, but she’s just as happy curling up for snuggles afterward. At night, Missy Moo Moois a dream — she sleeps through the night in her crate and is fully house-trained. Missy Moo Moo is also a gentle communicator. She’ll quietly let you know when she needs a bathroom break, and she may use a slightly louder voice when it’s dinner time (because food is important, obviously). Missy Moo Moo would love a home where she can be close to her people, soak up affection, and enjoy a predictable routine. She’s dog-friendly and does best with slow introductions that set everyone up for success. This sweet girl is affectionate, well-mannered, and eager to bond with her forever family. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will happily cuddle, politely walk by your side, and fill your home with love, Missy Moo Moo might just be your perfect match. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
