If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ At 7 months old and 45 pounds, Matthias is a happy, playful pup with a big heart and even bigger personality. He’s smart, curious, and affectionate — always ready for an adventure or a good snuggle once he’s tired out. Matthias loves other dogs and plays great with bigger pups. He can get a little too excited with smaller ones but is learning to be gentler. He’s cat-friendly, respectful of their space, and has been sweet around a baby in his foster home. On leash, he walks nicely after his initial burst of energy and is working on not pulling. Crate-trained and nearly housebroken, Matthias is picking things up quickly and will thrive with consistent guidance. He’d do best in an active home that can give him exercise, structure, and love — a playful dog companion would be a bonus! With a little patience and training, Matthias will grow into the loyal, fun-loving companion every family dreams of. We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. Papaya is a 1-year-old, medium sized spayed female Lab mix currently fostered in San Antonio, Texas (transport available to approved adopters!). She’s a sweet, happy, people-loving pup who enjoys her daily walks, rides calmly in the car, and is fully housebroken and crate trained. Papaya sleeps through the night, loves her chew toys and rope tugs, and is a smart, eager-to-please girl who’s made great progress with her training. Papaya is playful and social with other dogs, reading their cues well and adjusting her energy accordingly. She even enjoys fence-line play with a neighbor’s Doberman! She stays neutral on walks when it’s just her and her foster mom. She should not live with cats at this time, and while she hasn’t lived with kids, her bouncy puppy energy makes her best suited for homes with older children or dog-savvy families. Papaya would thrive in a moderately active home that enjoys walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. She’d love another friendly dog in the home but could do well as a solo pup with the right guidance. Her foster adores how loving, cuddly, and gentle she is—Papaya thinks everyone she meets owes her a belly rub and happily leans right in for snuggles. Rocky is a great dog, but he is too big to be around my grandkids. He doesnt understand his size and knocks them over. He also comes with lifetime training through canine academy of colorado. He went through a six weeks of a immersion training aslo at k9 academy. My wife and I work too many hours.And our dogs are kenneled for longer than they should be. Rocky is ball aggressive and fence aggressive. He has never bitten anybody.He is not aggressive towards people. He would do great with some open space and free time.And with someone that knows dogs well.
