Meet one of our newest rescues, Flower! This super sweet and friendly pup is ready to be your new best friend! One of our volunteers found her wondering the streets of Downtown on Flower street which is how she got her name. Story
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Lilah finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our  adoption application  so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails).   Lilah | 3 y/o Mixed Breed | Talkative Adventure Buddy Looking for someone to join you on your five-mile run or keep pace on long hikes? Lilah just might be your girl. At 49 pounds, she’s packed with energy, love, and personality, and she’s ready to find a family who can keep up with her zest for life. Lilah is very vocal—when she wants something (a walk, a toy, a treat, or belly rubs), she’ll “talk” to you in her own big-dog way. Her bark can sound intimidating, but it’s all communication—there’s no aggression behind it. This affectionate girl is happiest when she’s close to her people. She’ll curl up under the covers at night, follow you around during the day, and flop into spontaneous somersaults whenever she’s angling for belly rubs. But Lilah is more than just a snuggle bug—she thrives on activity and loves being outdoors. Whether it’s chasing squirrels in the yard, hitting the trails, or working on training, she’s at her best when she’s moving and engaged. Smart and food-motivated, Lilah already knows “sit,” “lie down,” and “touch,” and she tackles puzzle games with determination. Her leash manners are still a work in progress, especially with all the exciting things to see and smell, but with consistency she’s eager to learn. After adventuring, she enjoys winding down with a chew or Kong in her crate, or simply lounging near her people. She’s nearly fully house-trained and has even embraced her inner fashionista, happily sporting cozy sweaters in chilly weather. Lilah’s ideal home will be an active, loving one where she can channel her energy into regular exercise and mental challenges, balanced with quiet cuddle time. She’ll thrive with people who understand her talkative ways, appreciate her playful spirit, and are ready to let her shine as both an adventure partner and a loyal companion. With her mix of energy, smarts, and affection, Lilah is more than ready to bring joy, laughter, and love to her forever family. Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED!!!  Classic, sophisticated, and years of experience being a good girl, I'm Miracle! As a mature 10-year-old boxer/lab mix, I have many wonderful gifts for my new family. I hope you will read about me and give me the opportunity to meet you and show you how special I am. I am a graduate of a wonderful and comprehensive dog training program, where I learned all of my basic commands (and a few fancy ones, too) so I could be fully prepared to be the best girl I can be for my new home! I walk amazingly well on a leash, and I love checking out the neighborhood of my foster home with my foster sister, but I can also be 100% couch potato. I am fully crate trained and can sleep all night in my crate (full disclosure: my favorite spot is to sleep snuggled up to my 13-year-old human foster sister). My ideal home would be one with lots of love. I love attention, pets, snuggles. Keeping up with my amazing training skills is easy as I am very food motivated! I am currently fostered in a home with one other dog, and I have become BFF's with her. Through proper introductions, I get along well with other dogs. I love my foster sibling and would do well with another dog similar in size to me who also likes to wrestle and play (please check out my videos). I am a lover, not a barker, with such a sweet disposition that everyone loves. My ideal home can absolutely include older children, as I do love kids! Due to my lack of awareness of size, I could unintentionally knock over little ones. My foster home has a 13-year-old girl who lets me sleep on her bed, and I happily greet all her friends who come to visit! All her friends say I’m their favorite! All in all, I’m a very easygoing, happy girl who wants a family to call my own! If that sounds like you, I hope to meet you soon! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##1174512##
