Story
Meet Hank!Hank is a lot of things.Hank is a lab. He is an Australian Shepherd. He is a German Shepherd. He is a boxer. He is even a Boston terrier. There is A LOT going on inside of Hank. Most importantly? Hank is a certified good boy. And a peanut butter aficionado.Hank is about a 1y9mo and he weighs around 50lbs. He's good on a leash, he's a super friendly extrovert that adores people, he loves a good snuggle, and he knows his cues like the back of his paw. He's high energy but not chaotically so...think "constant zoomies" more than "bull in a china shop". He can and will jump up on you but he just can't help himself! He just wants to be your best friend SO BAD that he can't contain it!Hank is amazing with other dogs and definitely curious about cats, in the way humans are curious about aliens...we want to know more, we kinda want to get closer, but we're also not sure if this is a bad idea. He would do best with older kids (probably 10+) just because he has so much energy and is jumpy/can be a little mouthy when he's excited. Exceptions can be made for the right family if they have dog experience and the kid(s) is/are okay with being smothered with love by a big furry goober. He loves long walks (on the beach or otherwise), snoozing in the sun, and he's the BEST boy for the vet and getting groomed (aside from nail trims, those are evil). He's a good listener (both for commands and if you need an impromptu therapy session). He also thinks ice cubes are, like, the best toy ever.To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Once complete, you can email it to us at fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to us at 508-677-9175.

Story
Rin is a petite brindle beauty, about two years old, with a massive zest for life packed into her small pittie frame. She’s sweet, playful, and fast on her feet—especially when there’s a tennis ball involved! Fetch is her absolute favorite game, and she’ll happily chase after the ball as long as you throw it.This high-energy girl is still very puppyish in her behavior, despite paperwork suggesting she’s closer to 2. Luckily, she settles well in her crate after playtime and loves nothing more than being close to her people. Rin’s love language is touch—she wants to climb into your lap, wrap herself around you, and soak up every ounce of affection.Rin is incredibly social with humans and wants to meet every person she sees. With other dogs, however, she’s still learning her manners. She can be a bit too pushy and insistent, which has led to some altercations with tolerant males she’s been introduced to. With training, structure, and patience, Rin has excellent potential to mature into a more respectful playmate. For now, she may do best as your one-and-only pup while she learns. This gal is very smart and she already knows several basic commands. Check these out in this video:https://youtube.com/shorts/mnnSy7AHaEoIf you’re looking for a fun, loving, athletic companion who will make you laugh and keep you moving, Rin is your girl!Name: RinBreed: Boxer/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 2 years  (estimated)Weight: 47.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Positive on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Loves all people she meets, not specifically tested with childrenGood with Dogs: Yes, but needs to learn social cues - she's an "in your face" puppy.Good with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $300.00Location of dog currently: Connecticut  IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Just a girl and her toy waiting for a forever home. Meet Pippa. She is a 9 month old, female, Boxer mixed breed. Unfortunately, she has not had an easy life and has seen first hand how terrible people can be. She was found on the side of the road with her sibling, painfully thin and searching for food wherever she could. After everything she has been through her sweet personality remains intact. She is slowly learning that meals come regularly now, that hands can be kind, and that people can be safe. Each day she relaxes a little more, leans in a little closer, and begins to trust. Staff and volunteers have quickly fallen for her quiet bravery. She accepts love with growing confidence and is discovering the joy of soft beds, full bowls, and gentle voices. Pippa will blossom beautifully in a patient home where she can continue to learn what it means to be secure and loved. She has already come so far and has so much love ahead of her. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. Story
If you would like to apply to take CLEMENTINE home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. Clementine was returned to the rescue because her mom fell sick and passed away. She was the only dog at her house but wasn’t sure what to think about multiple dogs. At the time her foster mom had 2 puppies in a pen. Clementine felt safe with them and learned she was safe. The puppies showed her the way. Clementine learned how to go out the dog door and to play. From there she has grown in confidence.. she now likes to come up and ask for kisses and hugs. Clementine loves to play with the big dogs now but still not sure when you chase after her. She is your alarm system she likes to let you know someone is outside. She is not sure of strangers coming in but once she feels comfortable with them she comes up to see them and smell them… she is a sweet girl and would love to have her forever

These pups are in Fall River, Massachusetts too!

Story
Last name Ralph, first name Wreck It 💪Ralph is the cutest not-so-little cow with the most smoochable snoot you've ever seen ðŸ\x90®Ralph is about eight months old and weighs around 50lbs. He's your typical happy, bouncy pittie puppy; he zooms, he zigzags, he parkours, he barrel rolls, etc. He's got a ton of energy and he's a certified silly goose looking for an active family to help him be his best self as he grows and matures.Ralph loves people and he loves walks but he has zero leash manners. He zooms and zigzags all over the place like everything is just SO exciting and he doesn't know what he wants to explore first. He doesn't quite know his own strength either so if you're not careful, he'll drag you clear across the yard in his quest to sniff a particularly interesting patch of snow. He does know "sit" and "down" as far as cues go and, on the other hand, is super gentle with his toys and will cry like the big baby he is while he carries his emotional support plushies around 🥹He seems to be very, very well socialized with other dogs and has been great with them while he's been here, even the littles! He does lots of excited wiggles and his interpretive dancing may be too much for older, lower energy dogs. He's not the biggest fan of cats so we're looking for a home without them. Kids 10+ should be fine as long as they don't mind crazy chaotic cow dogs laying directly on top of them. Since he is a "restricted breed", you must own your own home or live in a home owned by a family member. To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Once complete, you can email it to us at fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to us at 508-677-9175.

Story
Meet Latte!Latte is the Brienne of Tarth of the shelter right now. This gentle giant is a 3yo pit bull mix weighing in at a whopping 100lbs. She's a BIG lady (Alexa, play Big Girl by MIKA) and can definitely appear a little intimidating at first...and then you spend 3 seconds in her company and you realize that there are kittens scarier than her. She has WORRY LINES. How can you be afraid of something that has WORRY LINES?(Unless you're afraid of her wagging tail because...valid. That thing is dangerous.)Latte is immediately a social butterfly and does not know what a stranger is. If you'll give her bum scratches and talk to her in a baby voice, her heart is yours. She likes walkies, stuffies, giving kisses, and being an absolute ridiculous ham for affection. She knows "gentle" as a command and has it perfected down to a SCIENCE. She knows her cues and is surprisingly good on a leash considering she's built like a small cow. She's a very, very happy girl and she's even gentle with her toys. She'll never turn down a game of tug but she isn't one to obliterate her plushies and fling stuffing everywhere and she's more than happy to trade her toy in if you have a snack on hand instead. She loves her playtime but is also a certified nap expert and you will have the best snooze of your LIFE cuddled up next to this living weighted blanket. Latte does not like cats and she is selective with other dogs. Basically, she likes dogs that have manners and are more low to moderate energy and won't come bouncing at her without warning. She's never been aggressive but has made her discomfort and uncertainty clear in those situations, looking to her handler like, "Um, hello, pick me up, I'm scared" like she doesn't weigh an entire 100lbs. Kids 12+ would be best only because she came to us as a stray and we have no idea if she knows what a child is. Since she is a "restricted breed", you must own your own home or live in a home owned by a family member. To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application. Once complete, you can email it to us at fpas1@foreverpaws.com or fax it to us at 508-677-9175.

Story
Meet Bam!Bam is just as ridiculous as his ears are and just as ridiculous as his name would suggest. But seriously, look at those ears. Like, what even are those? Bunny ears on a dog, that's what.Bam is a two year old pit bull mix. Mixed with what, we have no idea. Rabbit. Jackalope. Jerboa maybe. It's one of life's greatest mysteries. He weighs about 65lbs so he isn't ridiculously big but he is high energy so it can sometimes seem like he's 100lbs. He is the happiest, dopiest, friendliest guy and all of that energy seems to come from pure, unbridled joy and enthusiasm for, like, everything. He loves people and would spend his days sitting there and staring at you adoringly with that big goofy smile, without a single thought behind his eyes, if he could. He knows his basics (sit, come, stay...sorta, etc) and he isn't terrible on a leash but he doesn't quite realize how strong he is so he can be a bit of a heavy puller. Another thing about Bam is that he likes to hoard his toys like a dragon with gold. His favorites are tennis balls and plushies though rope toys are not exempt from being added to his hoard. He's more interested in hoarding them than he is with playing with them but he will bounce around with a tennis ball like a goober. He's also, like, super nosy. He has a major case of FOMO. He needs to know what's happening on the other side of a door at all times like he's personally responsible for feeding the local gossip mill.Bam loves other dogs but, again, he's high energy so he'll need someone that can match that ridiculousness. We would prefer to place him with a female dog because he does seem to favor them. We're looking for a home without cats because he would most likely be way too much dog for most cats. Kids 12+ because small kids are small and Bam is not small. Bam is both the unstoppable force and the immovable object.Because he is a "restricted breed", you must own your own home or live in a home owned by a family member. To apply, visit foreverpaws.com and click adopt to download our application.
