Story
Herley is a 6-year-old huggable, cuddlable enthusiastic, well-mannered female dog. If you look for a dog to hug and cuddle with, she is definitely the right dog for you; she is always ready for an adventure; if its going for a walk, run, playing fetch or playing tug of war. Herley loves people and does well with childern, Base on her personality I think she would be good with other dogs, although I have not seen her with other dogs, and cats I would think she is not good with, although I do not know. Unfortunately, Herley is now looking for a new home because my father is no longer able to take care of her after getting her in August 2024 from a Shelter, and I am unable to take care of her in the future.

Story
Teddy knows that not everyone is looking for a senior dog… but he’s hoping someone is looking for him. While Teddy has had more birthdays than some of the younger pups, his heart is just as full—if not more so. This sweet, gentle boy has a heart of gold and so much love left to give.Teddy enjoys the company of calm, respectful dogs and would thrive in a quiet, loving home where he can soak up all the affection he deserves. • No kids • No catsIf you’ve ever thought about opening your heart to a senior, Teddy might just be the love you didn’t know you were missing. Seniors give the deepest love—and Teddy is proof of that.🐾 Apply to meet Teddy today:www.newhopepetrescue.comSometimes the best love stories begin a little later in life 💛Please check out our adoption process & on-line application here: https://www.newhopepetrescue.com/Adoption Fee for dogs cover the following vetting:1. Story
**in a foster home and not at the kennel** Howdy, folks! Name’s Yeehaw! I ain’t your ordinary dog, no siree! My life is like a comedy show, full of twists and turns. So, how did I end up here? Well, I was playing fetch with a donut. Yes, a donut! I ran into a police station, thinking it was a game. Next thing I know, I am being escorted to the shelter. Can you believe that? They thought I was a donut thief! I was just hungry. Now I’m looking for a new home, where the food is plenty and the love never ends. If you are up for some fun, laughter, and endless games of fetch then I’m your dog! I’m super friendly and like other dogs. I am not much for long walks. I prefer fun and games. Sadly, fun and games is what got me here in the first place. Some structure and consistency in my world would be great for me! My mugshot doesn’t say it but I’m about 2 years old and around 40 Lbs. Since I now have a record as a thief (I plead the fifth!), I will need an adult only home who can help me work on trading instead of stealing food and treats! If you got what I need to help me change my ways and keep me on the straight and narrow path then come meet me! I’ll be in my jail cell at k9. Feel free to pre-submit an application for me at k9stray.com and one of my wardens will contact you. *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats*
