Meet Rip This handsome boy sure is a comparison to the famous Rip on Yellowstone! He is the whole package as far as personality and looks! Rip arrived at Tuscola AC last summer as stray and has been waiting for a 2nd chance to find his forever family! PAR volunteers say he is cuddly, sweet, adorable and the perfect dog! Rip loves everyone he meets and loves to lean into you for bum rubs! Rip is on the chill side, loves to lounge in bed, enjoys car rides and want to be in your lap for pets! Rip is not a fan of cats but has not shown any negative response to other dogs. A Meet and Greet is required if there is another dog in the home. Story
We got Dobby through a rescue. He is a smart boy and very loving. He is good around our granddaughter but sometimes he forgets how big he is. He chases our cat but not in a harmful way, more in a playful way. The only reason we are looking to is Dobby is getting possessive over me. My husband also does not want to keep Dobby, because he says he is too big now that he if full grown. Dobby weighs about 83 lbs. Dobby rings a jingle bell to go out side, it hangs on our sliding glass door. He also sits and waits to eat until we pet him and say ok. Our daughter taught him to shake when she says give me some and holds out her hand. Dobby also knows when it is wet outside and he comes in, if I have a towel in my hand he will sit and give me his paws so I can wipe them off. I really do love him so much!!! I also love my husband and to keep peace in our home, I need to find Dobby a new home.

Story
**in a foster home and not at the kennel** Howdy, folks! Name’s Yeehaw! I ain’t your ordinary dog, no siree! My life is like a comedy show, full of twists and turns. So, how did I end up here? Well, I was playing fetch with a donut. Yes, a donut! I ran into a police station, thinking it was a game. Next thing I know, I am being escorted to the shelter. Can you believe that? They thought I was a donut thief! I was just hungry. Now I’m looking for a new home, where the food is plenty and the love never ends. If you are up for some fun, laughter, and endless games of fetch then I’m your dog! I’m super friendly and like other dogs. I am not much for long walks. I prefer fun and games. Sadly, fun and games is what got me here in the first place. Some structure and consistency in my world would be great for me! My mugshot doesn’t say it but I’m about 2 years old and around 40 Lbs. Since I now have a record as a thief (I plead the fifth!), I will need an adult only home who can help me work on trading instead of stealing food and treats! If you got what I need to help me change my ways and keep me on the straight and narrow path then come meet me! I’ll be in my jail cell at k9. Feel free to pre-submit an application for me at k9stray.com and one of my wardens will contact you. *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats*

Story
Hi there! I'm a sweet and cuddly boy who's looking for my forever home. I'm a big fan of people and dogs, and I'm always excited to meet new friends. I'm not very fond of being crated, but I'm potty trained and walk well on a leash. I'm a very chill dog, but I do love to be around my favorite people. I'm a total Velcro dog and I'll follow you around everywhere you go. I love to snuggle on the couch and I'm a great listener. I'm also a big marshmallow and the perfect 50 lb weighted heating blanket. If any children are in your home, they would need to be at least13 years old. I need a leader to look to and teach me how to be the best I can be. I'm sure you'll love me as much as I will love you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s meet up! I promise you won't be disappointed. If you are interested in Moonie and are at least 21 years old, please fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
Oh my, just look at that adorable face! Cinnibar is estimated to be about 10 months old and weighs 33 pounds. Cinnibar is a gentle and insecure pup who is in need of a patient and experienced owner to help guide him. Some humans were not nice to this sweet boy. He has a very submissive nature and tends to pancake his body to the floor when he is unsure, poor muffin. Cinnibar does not seem familiar with being inside and all that goes along with the inside human world, he needs someone who can provide him with positive experiences to boost his confidence. A leader to rely on will be crucial for him to blossom into a confident dog. Cinnibar is such an affectionate, tender hearted, loving baby who just needs a chance. What a dream it would be if he could find a kind family to love him forever. He does need a home where any children are at least 13 years old with his shy nature. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Cinnibar would love to meet them. He has an “all in” excited approach with other dogs. Another dog in the home may help with his confidence building. If you are interested in Cinnibar and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying.
