Story
My name is Noel and I am a very sweet and loving girl. I get along with other dogs, but would do best in a home with submissive dogs. I am fearful of kitties when they hiss at me...shhhh don't tell anyone. I love to walk and would love an active family. I love kids but might do best with older kids.If you want to meet me apply today by going to www.newhopepetePlease check out our adoption process & on-line application here: https://www.newhopepetrescue.com/Adoption Fee for dogs cover the following vetting:1. Story
Meet Rex! Rex has had a bad start to life, but is so thankful to be in a foster home. He is the sweetest boy. Here's what we know about Rex in the 3 short weeks he has been in foster care.Rex is approximately 10 months old. He is a pit and chocolate lab mix. He was chained up outside since 10 weeks old. Was brutally attacked by 2 dogs and left for dead. He is understandably skiddish of people and dogs, but making huge strides with people. Other dogs will need slow introductions. He loves the resident dogs and mimics her every move.He loves his people and wants to be everywhere they are. He loves to cuddle, loves to eat, sleep and snore! He is potty trained, crate trained (although its not needed). He is very chill for a puppy but does love to play with resident dog . Is up to date on shots and has a neuter appointment this Saturday.Rex really needs someone with patience and understanding of the fear he has of humans and other dogs as well as the need to be with his people as he is still learning how to be a dog and to feel safe. Would recommend older children as he still fears quick movements and loud noises. Not cat tested. Could you be Rex's hero? Apply to adopt this sweet boy today! Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Happy loves to be snuggled in her bed with a toy! She is estimated to be about 10 months old and weighs 36 pounds. Happy is a friendly, playful, and energetic puppy who loves to make new friends!! She's a curious, outgoing pup who's always eager to learn and explore. She also likes to be close to you, hoping for a little love, oh, she just can’t wait for her family to find her. Happy does have some observed resource guarding, she is catching on quickly to her training and to “wait at bowl”. Her adopter will need to continue to work on her getting used to people around her food bowl. Happy is very responsive to training and wants to please you. She is still very young, so she'll need an active forever home that can provide her with the love, care, and attention that she needs to grow into a wonderful adult dog. An adult only home will be best for her. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Happy would love to meet them. She has a loose, friendly “all in” approach with other dogs. If you are interested in Happy and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*

Story
Beautiful Frankie is looking for someone to love her more than anything. She is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 41 pounds. Frankie is so sweet, calm and just a treasure. She is our shy girl who just loves to stay close to you. What a perfect sit and down she has too. Frankie is quite submissive though, the poor muffin, she tucks her cute tail and cowers when she is a little overwhelmed. She will also drop to the floor and scoot to you on her stomach when she is scared. This tender soul will need an experienced adopter who has the time and patience to build her confidence and trust. Frankie will need a home where any children are at least 13 years old due to her shy, insecure nature. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Frankie would love to meet them. Frankie was just so sweet when meeting a dog smaller than her, she made herself small and laid down on the ground to get to the other dog's level. Then she likes to “check in” with you too. If you are interested in Frankie and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. Story
Herman is absolutely beautiful, the fawn coloring of his coat is stunning, not to mention his adorable ears! This sweet boy is estimated to be about 8 months old and weighs 48 pounds. What a heartwarming and goofy personality Herman has, all rolled up into one sweet pup! He is a playful, affectionate, and wiggly baby who just wants to please you. One of our wonderful volunteers took him out on a breakfast date for a yummy McDonalds biscuit, wow, he was in heaven. Then he was off to Tractor Supply, as you can see from some of his pictures, he had fun picking out a toy and helped pick out a few toys for his friends at the rescue too, what a sweet boy! Herman was great in the car and with all the people. He is an all-around awesome pup and he's looking for a forever home where he can grow up and be loved. He likes nothing more than to lay across your lap and he has the kindest eyes that just gaze up at you. Herman can be a little submissive, so some confidence building would be wonderful for him. He will need a home where any children are at least 4 years old. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Herman would love to meet them. He may do best with a calmer dog playmate. If you are interested in Herman and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend! *Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying.
