Story
I am looking to re-home my dog Baxter which is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. He is a 5 year old mixed breed. I have his DNA profile for his potential adopters if interested! I adopted Baxter when he was 3 months old. He is a very sweet boy who is a great protector, loves attention and loves play and exercise. He LOVES other dogs. He hasn’t had exposure to cats, however when he sees stray cats he is pretty chill. He is great with my son with special needs. I am needing to rehome him due to a separation from my partner that has caused a major change in my financial and living situation. Unfortunately I will not be able to bring Baxter with me into my new living situation as I cannot find a place to live within my means that will allow him. I have tried everything to keep my dog and this is my last resort. I am hoping someone can open their heart to him for a good home, we have been through a lot together and he deserves it.

I love my people and my foster sister! We love to play, run and chew on treats. I can be somewhat timid around people because I’m still not sure about them. Once I get attached to you, I'm your best friend and you are mine. I like being pet but I really love to play and to run! He is the sweetest, goofy 3 year old Lab Pittie mix that thrives with love and attention. He loves his people, cuddling, and going on walks. He has a beautiful grey coat, white chest, white “socks”, and the cutest little tortilla chip shaped ears. Norman will flourish with a human that is willing to continue to work regularly with him on obedience training, but we assure you that this commitment will be rewarding because of all the love he has to give.  Norman has been covered by health insurance since he was 2 months old and has no preexisting medical conditions.
