Story
Can you imagine being used as a breeding machine, making money for your owner, only to have them put you in boarding for 2 days and then not come back for you?!? That is what happened to poor Gucci. She is currently still in boarding and really really would love a home or a foster home to land in while we vet her and get her all taken care of. Could you be that family?! Gucci is a super sweet girl who appears to be dog friendly, and great with people! Are you interested in adopting Gucci or another JCAPL pet you have seen? Story
I am looking to rehome my dog Baxter which is one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. He is a 4 year old mixed breed. We have had him since he was 3 months old. We got him from a rescue where we used to live in New Jersey. He is a very sweet boy who loves attention and definitely needs play and exercise. He LOVES other dogs. He can be nervous with strangers unless they have a dog, so I think it would be best for him to be in a home with another dog. The reason that we must find him a new home is due to my 2 year old son having allergic reactions to his dander and saliva. In addition to the allergies, Baxter gets way too excited and rough with my son despite my efforts to train him. I have tried my best to work with these issues, but I don’t feel that it is fair to my dog or my son. Thinking of not having Baxter anymore breaks my heart, but I have to think about what is best for him. He is a great dog and I want him to have a great life.

Story
THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING! Do not contact US Dog Coalition and Rescue Contact: diaprince82@gmail.com Bella-Rusé: A Loving Companion in Need of a Forever Home About Bella-Rusé: * Location: Durham, NC • Age: 3 years (Born November 15, 2021) • Personality: Bella is a very loving, affectionate dog who loves to cuddle, go on long walks, and chew on her favorite bones. • Favorite treats: She adores peanut butter kongs, cheese, and frozen strawberries. • Temperament: She is not aggressive toward people or dogs but is aggressive toward cats and small animals. • Training: Bella is crate trained, but she’s been struggling with urinating in the house due to being left in her crate for long periods in her previous home. Her Story: When I went to pick up Bella, she was in rough shape—skinny, scratched up from a run-in with a cat, and overdue for nail clippings. Despite her circumstances, Bella has a big heart and loves being around people. She just needs a home that can offer her the time, love, and training she deserves. Bella is looking for a forever home where she won’t be left alone for long periods (no longer than normal work and daily activities) and where she can get regular exercise, attention, and care. She would do best in a household without cats or small animals. If you have the time and patience to work with Bella, she will reward you with endless love and affection. to jump and pull on the leash, which could improve with more training and attention.

Story
Bonnie is a 2 year old, 49 Lb American Staffordshire Terrier This dog is not part of CrisisDogsNC.  This is a courtesy posting on behalf of Ben with Haven Dog Training.  If you are interested in finding out more, email him directly at email ben@havendogtraining.com  Meet Bonnie. When it comes to homing dogs a sob story sells (and boy does she have one) however, I want someone to adopt her because they want a great dog and not because they want to get a dog on an emotional impulse or to brag about her back story. For anyone I interview as a potential home I will tell you everything I know about her.    Bonnie is energetic, smart, and incredibly sweet. For the right dog person she even has sport dog potential. She was intitially unsure around large men but now will warm up to anyone. She also loves playing with my personal dogs. She’s my ideal pet dog-has a good burst of energy and then will happily sleep the rest of the day away.    Bonnie is crate, house, and leash trained. I want her to go to a home that will incorporate training into their life with her, crate her when leaving her home, and shower her with love. I have taken her on as my personal project and so she is available directly through me. I am in no rush to get rid of her. I am willing to wait for the perfect home. Ideally I want her to go to someone in/around the triangle so I can do a follow up lesson as well as be a resource for life. I also offer boarding to dogs that have been through one of my programs. While she’s been just fine with other dogs as well as an indoor pet rabbit I think she’d thrive as an only dog-she literally cannot get enough love.    If you’re interested in applying to be Bonnie’s new home then email ben@havendogtraining.com with your name, number, and location as well as why you would like to adopt her and I’ll get back to you from there. If you aren’t looking for a new dog but see this-sharing it would be a huge help. The more people that share her,  the more likely she’ll find the perfect home nearby.      October 5, 2024, 8:26 pm
