Story
This is Raven! She's a black and white American Staffordshire terrier with a loving personality. My husband and I found her wandering around our apartment complex, and after searching for her owner with no luck, we decided to take her in. We already have one dog, a pit bull named Cassie. Her and Raven absolutely love each other; Raven is great with other dogs! We are trying to rehome her because we simply don't have the space for two dogs; our apartment is too small! A plucky puppy like Raven needs a yard and doggy friends to run around with. She already knows sit, down, wait, shake (with both paws!) and to sit and wait for her food. We will provide a harness, collar, leash, and slow feeder for her. (Bonus, all her equipment matches!) She is 90% housetrained! She is still a puppy, so she'll have the occasional accident every once in a while, but she has made incredible progress. Raven is also kennel trained! She will make a great addition to anyone looking for a puppy!

Story
Dale is approx thirteen years old, 53 pounds and is an American Staffordshire mix. He is a wonderful goofy character! Dale was picked up by animal control as a stray.  He was starving and looked like he had given up and was on his way out. A week into fostering and he popped back, playful, enjoying food and toys! He is great with other female dogs and fantastic with people. His foster writes: "Dale is so loving. I rub his head and give him kisses and he literally melts into my hands. He's such a good boy! He is going to make a great dog for someone!"  Dale loves his milk bones and playing with his toy bone (see hilarious video). Dale is healthy and fully vetted. Dale has visual impairment due to a detached retina and we had some of his teeth pulled that caused him pain.  He doesn't let his lack of sight stop him!  He learned his way around his fosters house and yard very well!  Dale is a playful soulful boy, one of our favorites.  Many years ahead for this boy snatched from the jaws of death!  He loves to be the life of the party and looks for anyone who might have a good treat or love to give him!  He has never met a person he didn't like!  He is also a hoarder.  He likes to shoe shop in his foster mom's closet and take all the shoes to his crate!  He doesn't chew them, he just likes to collect them!  He also likes to wander around the house and get his brothers and sisters food bowls and carry back to his crate.  At least she knows where to find anything missing!   If you are interested in finding out more about Dale, please fill out an adoption application online at www.crisisdogsnc.org. Comprehensive details are provided in the dog's description. To ensure a smooth process, please submit a completed application through our website at: http://crisisdogsnc.org/dog-adoption/. Please note that questions via email or social media channels may not receive a response without a completed application. As part of our commitment to responsible adoption practices, we require excellent veterinarian references and conduct virtual home visits. Additionally, your prior or current dog must be on year-round heartworm prevention. We provide transportation by both land and air whenever feasible. All assessments regarding breed and age are conducted by licensed veterinarians. We look forward to assisting you in finding your perfect canine companion!    July 13, 2024, 3:21 pm

Story
Bonnie is a 2 year old, 49 Lb American Staffordshire Terrier This dog is not part of CrisisDogsNC.  This is a courtesy posting on behalf of Ben with Haven Dog Training.  If you are interested in finding out more, email him directly at email ben@havendogtraining.com  Meet Bonnie. When it comes to homing dogs a sob story sells (and boy does she have one) however, I want someone to adopt her because they want a great dog and not because they want to get a dog on an emotional impulse or to brag about her back story. For anyone I interview as a potential home I will tell you everything I know about her.    Bonnie is energetic, smart, and incredibly sweet. For the right dog person she even has sport dog potential. She was intitially unsure around large men but now will warm up to anyone. She also loves playing with my personal dogs. She’s my ideal pet dog-has a good burst of energy and then will happily sleep the rest of the day away.    Bonnie is crate, house, and leash trained. I want her to go to a home that will incorporate training into their life with her, crate her when leaving her home, and shower her with love. I have taken her on as my personal project and so she is available directly through me. I am in no rush to get rid of her. I am willing to wait for the perfect home. Ideally I want her to go to someone in/around the triangle so I can do a follow up lesson as well as be a resource for life. I also offer boarding to dogs that have been through one of my programs. While she’s been just fine with other dogs as well as an indoor pet rabbit I think she’d thrive as an only dog-she literally cannot get enough love.    If you’re interested in applying to be Bonnie’s new home then email ben@havendogtraining.com with your name, number, and location as well as why you would like to adopt her and I’ll get back to you from there. If you aren’t looking for a new dog but see this-sharing it would be a huge help. The more people that share her,  the more likely she’ll find the perfect home nearby.      July 13, 2024, 3:21 pm

Storm is approximately 3 months old and currently 7 lbs. Little Storm is an absolute gem! He is a beautiful brindle pup who will grow up to be a total stunner. He absolutely loves everyone, especially kids because they like to play with him! Storm is all about playtime and having some serious fun. Then when he's all tired out, he just wants to snooze in any available lap or be cuddled like a little baby! He is one of the most friendly puppies and is always up for fun. He can't wait to meet his forever family and hope they come for him soon so he can grow up knowing he will always be loved! Story
Montana is a 2-year-old, 35lb tricolor American Staffy mix. Montana had a rough start but that hasn't affected his mood. He's sweet to everyone he meets, he's housebroken, and leash trained already. He came to us underweight, so he's expected to be a little bigger once he puts on a few more pounds. He is fully vetted, and ready for a family of his own. The shelter that had him described him as a "winning" personality. If you think Montana might be the one for you, please apply online at www.crisisdogsnc.org. Story
Our sweetest English bulldog was given by a mechanic that couldn't take care of him no more, due to divorce. Now I am having to give him away because my daughter is 7 months pregnant and soon there will be a baby around the house. Goldo is too big and he can't hold back his love , therefore he non intentionally can be too tuff when wanting a cuddle. A newborn around this big hunk is not suitable. I don't know exactly how old he is. They said he was young. Around 3 yrs more or less. I don't have vaccines paperwork but they told me he had all his shots up to date.
