Story
Isis was a, gift by a significant other, I got her around August of 2023, she will be 2 years in June/july. She is an amazing dog, well trained, and has good temperament. I’m a college student, and she was registered as an ESA animal just to keep her in my dorm. She has been with me traveling and does amazing in the car, she’s a good companion and is very lovable. It is believed that she may have chronic stomach issues that are reoccurring every couple months and I am not in the correct space for bathroom incidents, and I believe she deserves to be in a better living space and someone to provides proper care and resources for her. I would still like to keep in contact with adopter, because she is my first, personal dog. Thank you.

Story
This little guy may be low to the ground, but his affectionate nature reaches new heights. Naveen is a people enthusiast, and he thrives on human companionship. From gentle ear scratches to cozying up, he's happiest when surrounded by his favorite people. His tail wags with excitement, and his soulful eyes light up when he's showered with attention and affection. While his love for people is undeniable, he's also a bit of a "nervous nelly." New situations can make him a tad anxious, but with a patient and understanding adopter, he blossoms into a devoted and loyal friend. A calm and reassuring environment will help him build confidence and showcase his true, loving personality. Naveen's unique physique adds to his charm, and his endearing low-to-the-ground stature makes him an absolute heart-stealer. If you're looking for a canine companion who appreciates a cozy lap, and just needs a little extra TLC to overcome his nervous tendencies, this guy might be the perfect match for you. Open your heart and home to this lovable low-rider, and watch as he transforms into the most devoted and affectionate member of your family.

These loyal companions are deeply devoted to their people and thrive when included in daily life. AmStaffs are strong, athletic, and playful, making them ideal for active homes where they can burn off energy and show off their smarts. With consistent training and socialization, they’re often great with other dogs and gentle with children. Confident yet loving, an AmStaff mix is a steady, soulful friend who brings both fun and loyalty into the home. Montana’s Story & Personality: Montana arrived severely neglected—emaciated and covered in wounds—but you’d never know it from his joyful spirit. This resilient boy greets everyone with a smile and a tail wag. He’s housetrained, walks beautifully on leash, and is looking for a home that can match his energy and enthusiasm for life. Montana adores people, especially those who give him attention (bonus points if you’re a delivery driver!). He thrives with structure and would love an adopter who can continue basic training. Story
Bonnie is a 2 year old, 49 Lb American Staffordshire Terrier This dog is not part of CrisisDogsNC.  This is a courtesy posting on behalf of Ben with Haven Dog Training.  If you are interested in finding out more, email him directly at email ben@havendogtraining.com  Meet Bonnie. When it comes to homing dogs a sob story sells (and boy does she have one) however, I want someone to adopt her because they want a great dog and not because they want to get a dog on an emotional impulse or to brag about her back story. For anyone I interview as a potential home I will tell you everything I know about her.    Bonnie is energetic, smart, and incredibly sweet. For the right dog person she even has sport dog potential. She was intitially unsure around large men but now will warm up to anyone. She also loves playing with my personal dogs. She’s my ideal pet dog-has a good burst of energy and then will happily sleep the rest of the day away.    Bonnie is crate, house, and leash trained. I want her to go to a home that will incorporate training into their life with her, crate her when leaving her home, and shower her with love. I have taken her on as my personal project and so she is available directly through me. I am in no rush to get rid of her. I am willing to wait for the perfect home. Ideally I want her to go to someone in/around the triangle so I can do a follow up lesson as well as be a resource for life. I also offer boarding to dogs that have been through one of my programs. While she’s been just fine with other dogs as well as an indoor pet rabbit I think she’d thrive as an only dog-she literally cannot get enough love.    If you’re interested in applying to be Bonnie’s new home then email ben@havendogtraining.com with your name, number, and location as well as why you would like to adopt her and I’ll get back to you from there. If you aren’t looking for a new dog but see this-sharing it would be a huge help. The more people that share her,  the more likely she’ll find the perfect home nearby.      November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm
