Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Pebbles is a 4 yr old female American Staffordshire Terrier. She is an absolute love bug and loves all people big and small. She loves to greet you with a wiggly butt and will climb in your lap any chance she gets. Pebbles had a tough life before coming to the rescue. She was found wandering the streets with another dog and then ended up on the euthanasia list at a local shelter. She was pulled from the shelter just in the nick of time and boy is she thankful.   Since coming to the rescue Pebbes is learning what it is like to feel safe and secure. Pebbles is continuing to work hard on her housebreaking skills. Sometimes when she feels insecure she puts on a tough girl act. This is especially true when it comes to other dogs. Some dogs she acts big and tough with and others she gravitates towards them and wants to mother them. she is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vetting. she likes to be close to you and loves to get all the cuddles. She loves, loves her treats and is just waiting for her forever family to find her. **To complete an application please go to http://www.arrfnc.com/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Hi. Story
Bea is a 6 year old 55 lb bundle of joy. If I had to choose one word to describe her it would be “goober”. We rescued her from the county shelter in early 2020. She was brought to the shelter as a stray but clearly had an owner before because she was potty trained and crate trained. Bea’s favorite hobby is sleeping, especially in the sun, closely followed by cuddling with anyone and everyone that she can. She has a ton of personality and expresses herself through eyebrow raises, whining, and the occasional paw on your leg. She likes about 30 minutes of exercise each day and spends the rest of her time lounging around. Bea has had trouble adapting to our newborn and she generally doesn’t get along well with other dogs, so she is best suited for a house with no small children or pets. I want her to find a loving home that prioritizes her, gives her lots of cuddles and cheese, and lets her snooze her days away.

Story
Name: Pepper, Pepperoni Breed: Mixed Breed Age: Around 3 years Pepper was found wandering around the local pizza shop, hence her name "Pepper" short for "Pepperoni". Pepper was initially very scared and wary when she first arrived at the shelter. She was afraid of being handled, but with a little time, patience, sweet talking, treats, and some gentle petting, she blossomed into a different dog. Now, she's eager for attention and love, and her affectionate nature shines through. This petite girl loves to play and equally enjoys just hanging out with you. She’s a delight to be around and is ready to bond with her forever family. Pepper is spayed, up to date on her shots, and in good health. She is house trained and keeps her kennel immaculate, never chewing up her bed or toys. She knows the command "sit" and is a quick learner. She's healthy and ready for adventure. Pepper is still getting to know her surroundings, but so far, she has shown nothing but sweetness and enthusiasm for life.

Story
Chance was found near death. A wonderful foster put some weight on him and then we took over. Chance is the sweetest and still loves humans after they failed him. He will need to go to a home with older kids due to the fact when he sees food he still thinks he won't get to eat. He will also need someone that is patient and still work with him. We think he is good with other dogs but haven't tried him yet.

Story
Meet Blaise! If you are looking for a high energy but cuddly and loving dog, Blaise is the girl for you! It’s been a rough year for poor Blaise... she just can't seem to find the right fit for her unique outlook on life. She needs to be in a home that has a fenced in yard to show off her amazing “zoomie” skills. Blaise is looking for a person who will keep her mentally stimulated. Estimated Birthday: 12/10/2018 Breed: Part staffy/part lab/all sass Weight: 55 pounds - Blaise is a smart, curious girl who loves to explore. She absolutely loves to go on hikes! She will sniff every plant, leaf, bug, rock… anything she comes in contact with. - She can walk very well on a leash with anyone who follows the expectations set up through previous training. With that said, she is reactive to other dogs so crowded areas around other dogs are not ideal places for her to explore. She can be especially vocal when she sees another dog, and she has a very unique voice that will definitely get attention. - Blaise is a rock star inside the house. Completely house and crate trained, she loves to hang out with her people either on the couch or in the bed. She just wants to be wherever they are. - As long as she gets her energy out either with a run, a good walk with lots of amazing smells, and some mind-stimulating games, she just wants to cuddle. Blaise is seeking an adopter who will continue professional training for her socialization skills and obedience. She needs to be the only pet in the home (no other dogs or cats) and because of her high energy no kids under the age of 15. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Blaise is $265 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only.
