Meet Angelica! Angelica is a darling pup weighing about 33 pounds. At about 10 months old, she’s past the “young puppy phase” but still young and playful. While we can't be 100% sure, at her age, she probably won't get too much bigger. Angelica is wonderfully affectionate and people-oriented — she loves being close to her humans and will often choose playtime with you over wrestling with other dogs. She does really well with both DOGS and CATS, making her a great fit for a multi-pet home. Angelica is playful, smart, and eager to learn. She does well crated at night and may fuss briefly, but settles in quickly. She’s still learning how to let her people know when it’s potty time, so she’ll thrive with a consistent schedule and routine — something she’s more than capable of mastering with her intelligence and willingness to please. She walks beautifully on a leash and she loves a car ride! If you’re looking for a loving companion who enjoys adventure, playtime, and cuddles, Angelica may be your perfect match. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. Meet Churro! A Beautiful Boxer, Rigdeback mix breed dog with a wonderful personality. Churro loves to play, is friendly and curious. He learns fast and already knows; sit, down, stay, paw, wait, come, place, kennel and he is fully house trained and crate trained. He is almost leash trained, but still yanks when he sees a squirrel or sometimes another dog he wants to play with. He comes with his crate, crate bed, another large new bed, 3 leashes, a harness, chew resistant kibble holding toys, treats, food bowl and spill resistant water bowl and 2 dog brushes. He does not shed or very little. He has had all his shots and is neutered. He is absolutely ready for a new home! I am looking for a loving and active new home for Churro. The rehoming fee is to help cover the expenses I have in getting Churro off to a good start after rescuing him. Thank you.

Winston is sweet guy that loves everyone he meets. He hasn't been tested with small kids so we can't tell you how he will be but would be perfect with older kids. He does great with other dogs but can be protective with his person and may snap at the other dog. Wiston is create trained and house broken. He was found tied to a pole outside of a high kill shelter. We knew we had to step up and give this baby a second Chance at life. He is now waiting for his forever home.
