Story
Meet Blaise! If you are looking for a high energy but cuddly and loving dog, Blaise is the girl for you! It’s been a rough year for poor Blaise... she just can't seem to find the right fit for her unique outlook on life. She needs to be in a home that has a fenced in yard to show off her amazing “zoomie” skills. Blaise is looking for a person who will keep her mentally stimulated. Estimated Birthday: 12/10/2018 Breed: Part staffy/part lab/all sass Weight: 55 pounds - Blaise is a smart, curious girl who loves to explore. She absolutely loves to go on hikes! She will sniff every plant, leaf, bug, rock… anything she comes in contact with. - She can walk very well on a leash with anyone who follows the expectations set up through previous training. With that said, she is reactive to other dogs so crowded areas around other dogs are not ideal places for her to explore. She can be especially vocal when she sees another dog, and she has a very unique voice that will definitely get attention. - Blaise is a rock star inside the house. Completely house and crate trained, she loves to hang out with her people either on the couch or in the bed. She just wants to be wherever they are. - As long as she gets her energy out either with a run, a good walk with lots of amazing smells, and some mind-stimulating games, she just wants to cuddle. Blaise is seeking an adopter who will continue professional training for her socialization skills and obedience. She needs to be the only pet in the home (no other dogs or cats) and because of her high energy no kids under the age of 15. Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Blaise is $256 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Story
Breed: Staffie mix Estimated Birthday: 11/12/2018 Weight: 60 pounds This girl is the definition of sweet and loving . She loves every human she meets and will look to her human to advocate for her and keeping up with her training. She loves to go on walks and adventures. She loves playing and has the occasional daily zoom zoom which is super cute to watch. Once she’s done, she will lay right down for a cozy nap. Mila Grace is 100% deaf so you will see in some of the photos she has an e-collar on. She is trained that vibration means come look at me . Her forever home will want to ensure they get one of these for her as this is your tool of communication. Keeping up with her training is key for this girl so she will need someone patient and willing to work with her 🙂 She is a huge ham like most pittie breeds and is an attention seeker. Her only downfall due to the breed she does have a high pray drive so no small animals would work in Mila Grace's forever home. She corrects well and is highly motivated with treats 🙂 She has gone through professional training to help her the perfect home for her. We’re still testing her with other dogs around her size but would do well with those that have a more submissive demeanor and can match her play style Apply to meet Mila Grace today! Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Mila Grace is $256 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Story
Breed: Staffie/ Pit mix Estimated Birthday: 1/1/2020 Size: Large (58 lbs) House-Trained: Yes This awesome, food motivated girl is looking for an active family to keep her in tip top shape! Once she has met her daily step goal, she turns to mush and will snuggle with you on the couch (preferably with her peanut butter filled bone). She walks well with her gentle leader, but could benefit from continued leash training in her forever home. She does well with submissive dogs. A doggy playmate that won't snap back at her would be ideal or she would be perfectly content as the only furbaby. Given her energy level, we do feel like she would do best in a home with children over the age of 8, though if you have durable mini humans under 8, she does well with children in general. She is not a fan of her crate and may need an indestructible crate in her forever home. She can be vocal, so she would not be suited for joint complex living (no apartments, townhouses, etc). Before emailing- please read: - Yes, this dog is available for adoption - The adoption fee for Medusa is $256 - Apply at c2cnd.org - The adoption fee covers their age appropriate shots, microchip, deworming, spay/neuter, and any other medical expenses while in our care. - Local adopters only. Story
Valor is the type of dog that you grow old with…he’s a great companion….maybe it’s because he had a rough start to life…starved and left to fend for himself…maybe he knows how it feels to be alone and never wants anyone to experience that…whatever the reason for him having a big heart, we love him for it. Valor is 2 years old, housetrained, crate trained, and rides well in a car!

Story
Bea is a 6 year old 55 lb bundle of joy. If I had to choose one word to describe her it would be “goober”. We rescued her from the county shelter in early 2020. She was brought to the shelter as a stray but clearly had an owner before because she was potty trained and crate trained. Bea’s favorite hobby is sleeping, especially in the sun, closely followed by cuddling with anyone and everyone that she can. She has a ton of personality and expresses herself through eyebrow raises, whining, and the occasional paw on your leg. She likes about 30 minutes of exercise each day and spends the rest of her time lounging around. Bea has had trouble adapting to our newborn and she generally doesn’t get along well with other dogs, so she is best suited for a house with no small children or pets. I want her to find a loving home that prioritizes her, gives her lots of cuddles and cheese, and lets her snooze her days away.
