Name: Pepper, Pepperoni Breed: Mixed Breed Age: Around 3 years Pepper was found wandering around the local pizza shop, hence her name "Pepper" short for "Pepperoni". Pepper was initially very scared and wary when she first arrived at the shelter. She was afraid of being handled, but with a little time, patience, sweet talking, treats, and some gentle petting, she blossomed into a different dog. She is still petrified when meeting new people, so she may benefit from a few visits before truly being comfortable with you. Once she trusts you, she's eager for attention and love, and her affectionate nature shines through. This petite girl loves to play and equally enjoys just hanging out with you. She's energetic and would love an outlet. She’s a delight to be around and is ready to bond with her forever family! Pepper is spayed, up to date on her shots, and in good health. She is house trained and keeps her kennel clean, never chewing up her bed or toys. She knows the command "sit" and is a quick learner. She's healthy and ready for adventure! Pepper is still getting to know her surroundings, but so far, she has shown nothing but sweetness and enthusiasm for life. She has not been officially dog or cat tested. She displays some positive body language towards the other shelter dogs, but she has also displayed guarding behaviors around other dogs with her food (none towards humans). If you have a dog at home, we highly recommend a meet and greet.

She loves to greet you with a wiggly butt and will climb in your lap any chance she gets. Pebbles had a tough life before coming to the rescue. She was found wandering the streets with another dog and then ended up on the euthanasia list at a local shelter. She was pulled from the shelter just in the nick of time and boy is she thankful. Since coming to the rescue Pebbes is learning what it is like to feel safe and secure. Pebbles is continuing to work hard on her housebreaking skills. Sometimes when she feels insecure she puts on a tough girl act. This is especially true when it comes to other dogs. Some dogs she acts big and tough with and others she gravitates towards them and wants to mother them. she is spayed, microchipped and up to date on all vetting. she likes to be close to you and loves to get all the cuddles. Cookie is a very friendly and loving Staffy. She is house trained and listens well in the training we have been working on. - sit, lay down, come, crate. She is crate trained and very food motivated. Cookie is very friendly and trustworthy with kids, though she is a little jumpy with new people so she needs to be introduced to new people and children with supervision so they are not knocked down. She is up to date on all shots, including rabies. I can provide all vet records. My other Staffy is an elder and is not welcoming Cookie to her pack it seems. Which unfortunately means we need to find her a new home. I will include bowls, leash, and collar.
