Story
Sage is truly everything you could want in a puppy, sweet, playful, and full of love. With her happy personality and gentle nature, Sage is the kind of pup who fits right into your life and your heart. She’s always up for a game of tug (her absolute favorite!) or a nice walk, but she’s just as content keeping herself entertained with a bone or toy. After she’s had her fun, Sage is all about the snuggles. She loves curling up on the couch with her people or another dog for a cozy nap, soaking in all the love and attention she can get. She’s incredibly affectionate and thrives on being close to her humans. Sage is also impressively well mannered for such a young pup. Her basic training is off to a great start. She already knows how to sit patiently and wait for pets, treats, and even her meals like a little pro. Potty training is coming along really well, and she is crate trained, setting her up for continued success in her forever home. She has been fantastic with other dogs of all sizes and is wonderful with kids, making her a great fit for many different types of families. Sage is an easygoing, well rounded pup who will bring so much joy, love, and fun into the lives of her future family. If you’re looking for a playful yet cuddly companion who is already off to a great start with training, Sage might just be your perfect match. Sage is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and kept on monthly preventatives. She is currently located in the Charlotte area and ready to find her forever home. Her adoption fee is $450. 🧬 American Staffordshire Terrier mix 🎂 Born 01/04/2026 ⚖️ Expected 40 to 60 lbs full grown (mom is around 40 lbs) 💉 UTD on vaccines ✂️ Spayed 🛡️ On monthly preventatives 🪱 Dewormed 🐶 Dog friendly 👧 Kid friendly ❤️ Very affectionate 🎾 Playful (loves tug!) 🧠 Doing great with basic training 🚽 Potty training in progress 🏡 Crate trained 🛋️ Loves to cuddle From Sage: Hi, I’m Sage. I love to play, especially tug, but I’m also a big fan of cuddles and naps. I’m learning my manners and trying to be the best puppy I can be. I love other dogs, people, and just being part of whatever’s going on. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate puppy who will grow up by your side, I’d love to meet you.

Story
Spottie is a sweet, resilient puppy with a loving personality and a playful spirit that shines through in everything she does. She has overcome a lot early on, and now that she is feeling better, her happy, fun loving nature is fully on display. Spottie loves to play, whether that is with other dogs, her toys, or her people, and she brings such a joyful, affectionate energy wherever she goes. She is incredibly people oriented, always ready to be part of the action, but she also loves to slow down and enjoy some cuddle time with her humans. She is already off to an amazing start with her training. Spottie is mostly house trained and crate trained, which is fantastic for her age. She is picking up on routines quickly and continues to show how smart and eager to please she is. With a little continued consistency, she is going to grow into an incredibly well mannered dog. Spottie loves other dogs and would do great in a home with a playful companion, but she would also thrive as the center of attention in a home ready to give her lots of love. She truly just wants to be where her people are, whether that is playing, exploring, or relaxing together. Spottie’s journey has already shown just how strong, loving, and special she is. Now that she is ready for her next chapter, she is looking for a forever family who will continue to help her grow and give her all the love she deserves. Spottie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and kept on monthly preventatives. She is currently located in the Charlotte area and ready for her forever home. Meet Mila ******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you area not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Mila is a spayed 3 year old female Pitbull/Staffie mix, currently weighing around 40lbs. She is in a foster home in San Antonio, TX, and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is found. Mila plays well with all dog sizes! She really enjoys playtime with the larger pups as they can keep up with her energy. She does well when meeting other dogs, but her foster notes she has a tendency to jump on her canine buddies, and some dogs may not like this. This cutie LOVES food and treats, scarfing down her own before checking to see what her foster siblings have in their bowls. She's not shown any aggression but we recommend feeding her separately just to ensure continued household harmony. Mila is smart, young and very teachable, quickly picking up on new lessons! She enjoys exploring and is super curious. Mila has not been crate trained as there is always someone home and she has access to a doggy door to come and go as she pleases. She has proven herself trustworthy to be left alone unsupervised as long as no food has been left out and the trash cans are empty. For this reason, Mila may do best in a home where someone is home more than they're away. Mila has been around her foster's young to older grandkids (1y, 10y, and preteens) and done well, not showing much interest in them. While Mila would probably be okay with kids of all ages, we generally recommend homes with children who are over the age of 10yrs, or those who are dog savvy. We do not have any history with cats. She is very people oriented and follows her Foster Mom around everywhere. She does not seem to have ever met a stranger, and gets super excited to say hello to new friends! She is affectionate and very cuddly, lying down nearby and asking for pets and kisses. Mila's ideal home would be with a moderately to very active family who has no/older kids, at least one other dog, and who wants a running partner or outdoors companion. She's still young and needs some training, but she is a very sweet girl who craves love and attention, and strives to please with lots of reassurance. If her Furever Family is patient and understanding, giving her ample time to adjust, she will be the very best girl and love you forever! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her? We do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Chip, 2-year-old, neutered male, Pit bull mix, 60 lbs. Chip is in a foster home in Houston, TEXAS, and can be transported out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! As sweet as a chocolate chip cookie, our lovely boy Chip is searching for his forever home! Chip is a playful, curious, and loving dog looking for an experienced adopter who can provide patience, safety, and endless love. Chip is a certified lover boy who loves to cuddle and be around his people! He’s a Velcro dog and will be your shadow everywhere you go. When he first meets new people, Chip can be a bit cautious, but once he trusts you, he’ll be your best friend forever! Chip adores his people, loves to go on sniffing walks (and does well on the leash), is crate-trained and potty-trained, and loves to be outdoors! He is also the king of costumes; he can rock any outfit and does so frequently. Chip has done well with his foster dog siblings, who are calm and enjoy his play style. Chip LOVES to play, and he plays his heart out, so we highly recommend using slow introductions to other dogs and think he would do best with more calm/submissive doggy siblings that would be happy to engage with him in his play. He would also do well as an only dog in the house if he could go on outings every so often. Chip does ask that he not live with any cats, please. Chip’s ideal humans would enjoy having him be their right-hand man, and would understand that when he’s left home alone, he can be anxious without his family. However, he has been working on his separation anxiety and can be crated when left home alone. Chip would thrive with a family that can keep up with his training, and he would love to work with you! Chip would also happily accompany you on your outings- he is thrilled to go on car rides, go on walks out and about, and see the world with his people! At home, once he has finished the initial decompression period, Chip will go full puppy mode and play with all the toys. He has also done well around older children! If you’re ready to get this happy-go-lucky, handsome man to be your forever best friend, please apply below! https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DDAR/Dog ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Meet Otis! This handsome guy is a 2-year-old, 50-pound American Staffordshire Terrier mix who is neutered, fully vaccinated, and very ready for his happily-ever-after. Otis was adopted as a puppy and sadly returned to an overcrowded Houston shelter suffering from a severe skin condition. The good news? His foster has worked absolute magic, and he’s now thriving—with a shiny new coat he’s extremely proud of and excited to show off. Otis is the definition of resilient and joyful. He’s sweet, goofy, and loves people with his whole heart. If you stop petting him before he’s ready, expect a gentle paw to grab your hand as a polite (but firm) reminder to keep going. He’s very attentive to positive reinforcement and genuinely wants to make his people happy. When it comes to other dogs, Otis is a social butterfly with great manners. He loves to play, takes cues beautifully, and is respectful of dogs who prefer their personal space. He currently lives with dogs of various sizes and does great with all of them. He can be a little shy when meeting new dog friends, but he warms up quickly and would absolutely love a doggy sibling in his forever home. Otis has a wonderful balance of energy. He’s happy to zoom around and play when it’s time, but he’s equally content being a couch potato. He’d do best in a moderately active home that also appreciates a good snuggle session. He walks like a dream on leash (with a little excited pulling at the start), loves car rides, and even enjoys bath time like the polite gentleman he is. In the home, Otis is fully housebroken and potty trained. He’s crate trained and sleeps in his crate overnight; while it’s not his favorite place, he settles well especially if a Kong is involved. He’s shown no signs of separation anxiety, destruction, food aggression, or resource guarding. He is fed separately just to keep things calm and easy. Otis hasn’t been around cats, so we’re unsure how he’d do with them. He also hasn’t spent time with kids, but due to his size and enthusiasm (he does like to jump), dog-savvy older children would likely be the best fit. Overall, Otis has been a joy, and we know he’ll make a truly wonderful addition to the right family. He’s ready to give endless love, laughs, and paw-grabs to his forever people. ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown.
