  Please NOTE: Cinnamon is not at the shelter. She is in a foster home. Looking for a feisty cuddle buddy? Meet our Cinnamon! Cinnamon is a female terrier mix that weighs around 63 pounds and is approximately 2  years old. This fun-sized gal came to us as an owner surrender through no fault of her own. This girl has the most beautiful swirly colors in her velvety coat. She knows only one emotion and that is utter happiness. Cinnamon is playful, curious, high energy, and happy as a clam at all times. Her tail wags a mile a minute. She can pull on leash but she walks well for the most part. Cinnamon would love life even more if she could have a yard and toys and a family to dote on her. She loves children. Older children are best because of her size. She has had no exposure to cats. She has good potential with other dogs. As always, a meet and greet is required for resident dogs. Cinnamon is available for our foster to adopt program which means you can foster her in your home until she finishes her vetting which includes vaccines and heartworm testing. Heartbreakingly and urgently searching for a good home for our sweet brindle pittie mix of 4 years. She needs to be an only pet, but is spayed, UTD on vetting, command trained, a great listener, wonderful on a leash w/pinch collar, LOVES her humans (NO human aggression!), loves to travel or be lazy - would adapt well anywhere. She takes a day or two to adjust to new people, but with belly rubs and treats is a sucker!! She’s also the perfect size, at ~40lbs. Over the past year, her resource aggression and animal reactivity has escalated to the point where our trainers are urging us to rehome her for the safety of our other pets. This has been absolutely gut-wrenching for my husband and I, but we just know that there is a great, pet-free home waiting for her out there!

This beautiful 2 year old brindle beauty is Violet! Violet is a 2 year old pittie and is full grown at 60 lbs. Violet has such a beautiful soul! She's a very shy girl, but once you spend some time with her and get that first tail wag, your heart will just melt. Violet recently went to the vet and did great at her appointment! It was her first time going to the vet ever, because in her past life she was used for breeding and never got medical done. Violet was quiet and stoic getting all of her shots and even her heartworm test done which was negative. Good job, Violet! Violet loves to go for walks with volunteers. She now walks with our other TRI adoptable pittie, Shorty. Did someone say squeaky toys? Better watch out! Moose is coming for ‘em! 😊 The love story between Moose and his squeakies is a tear jerking one. Moose loves squeaky toys more than life itself. He will carry around that squeaky in his mouth. He will run with it, sleep with it, play with it, or fetch with it. But in the end, he will tear it up, rip it apart and attempt to eat the squeaky! Oh no, no foreign body surgery for you buddy! He can only have a squeaky toy when he is closely monitored. The only other thing that could rival squeakies are big balls he can chase or kick around. This kid has a secret inspiration to be David Beckham 😊 Balls are great because he can’t destroy them like squeakies! Moose will try to engage his humans in plays but if you are not in an engaging mood, Moose will entertain himself. Moose is quite independent, but he likes to have an open view of his humans 😊 He will still bring you his toys, to show them off, to let you know happy he is, or that it is time for new ones 😊 When not busy tending to his toys and balls, Moose is an avid trick learner. He will sit, listening and watching intently to try and learn a new trick, for as long as it takes. He is a smart one. He learned how to give paw in one 20 minutes training session! Because Moose is easily distracted by everything, he doesn’t walk well on a leash. He is a puller :/ Good news is, it should be quite easy to teach him how to walk like a gentleman. Moose is a 1.5-year-old 70lb Staffy mix. He is looking for a family who can guide him out of his puppy stage and show him good behaviors. Moose is still learning what are acceptable behaviors. Sometimes, he is just a curious oversized puppy and gets into things :/ Moose is housebroken, and crate trained. Moose has occasional allergies. His eyes get goopy but quickly resolved with Benadryl. He takes medication like a champ 😊

Haven is currently in a foster home and NOT at the shelter. Meet our sweet boy Haven! Haven is a 9-10 year old male Boxer mix that weighs around 60 lbs. pounds.  We do not know much about his history but we can tell you that he has been a perfect gentleman at the shelter.  He has a caramel brown brindle coat that glistens in the sun.  He has a medium energy level.  He walks well on leash.  His kennel is always clean and he knows several commands.  When he is happy, he howls.  He is missing the home life.  Haven is gentle and loves to be near his person.  Haven would be perfect in any household that is willing to provide him love and companionship.  Older children are fine.  He is dog friendly.
