Story
Meet Pete, a charming 4-year-old American Staffordshire mix eagerly seeking his forever home! With just a few weeks left in his 12-week stay-and-train program, Pete is counting down the days until he can embark on his next adventure with his new family. To arrange a meet-and-greet with Pete, please contact Rachael at 440-773-0270. Pete has already mastered basic obedience commands like heel, sit, and down, and he's currently honing his stay duration skills. He also keeps his area very clean which indicates he is housetrained and is great in his crate! Plus, he's a pro at giving his paw for treats - such a clever boy! Pete's favorite pastime? Playing with balls! However, his enthusiasm can lead to many balls being shredded, so he'll need tough, indestructible, larger balls to keep him entertained. We have recently learned that Pete likes doggie friends and wouldn't mind sharing his new forever home with one! He also showed his playful side with a kitty he met. His initial shyness around new people quickly fades, revealing his affectionate and loving nature. Pete's athleticism is impressive - he can jump quite high when he's excited - but he responds well to gentle reminders to calm down. Pete would thrive in a home with owners willing to continue his training journey. If you're ready to welcome this sweet and playful pup into your life, don't hesitate to reach out to Rachael to schedule a meet-and-greet. Pete can't wait to meet his perfect match!

Skye is not only beautiful, but he is a great dog. He completed a training program and was in a foster home for a short time. Skye is a very smart dog and is looking for an active family to adopt, and a fenced in yard would be necessary. Skye would not be a good fit for a first time dog owner. Don't miss out on this great dog. By the way, Skye loves taking baths, with or without you in the tub!!!!

They say looks can be deceiving and this is certainly true in Holly’s case! Don’t be fooled by the sight of her 3 legs. This girl can run, hop, jump, walk, do whatever despite the missing leg! Yep, it’s business as usual for Holly. Throw a treat in the air and watch her jump for it. Oh yeah, 3 or 4 legs, she’s got skills 😊 She greets her humans with much enthusiasm too. The biggest smiles, the happiest tail wags, you are the center of her world

Story
Imagine a school aged kid who is attentive in the classroom, does all her homework and gets good grades at every exam. Imagine that kid at home. She helps you with house chores and watches her younger sibling. That kid fits Pinky to a T. Pinky is the epitome of perfection. She listens well to commands. You don’t have to tell her no twice. When outside, she stays within the confines of the yard. Even when she is out playing with people and other dogs, she doesn’t stray outside of the boundaries. Pinky loves the companionship of people and other dogs. She adores her humans. She loves human engagement, whether it is just snuggles or playing fetch or a toy. She will return your affections 10- fold. She will shower you with kisses and hugs. Want a loving, affectionate dog? Pinky is your girl. She makes a great emotional support animal. Pinky is wonderful with dogs. Even the yappy dogs who continuously bark at anything and everything, Pinky goes about her business quietly, never once chimes in. She is wonderfully neutral to all dogs and cats. If you are into walks and hikes, Pinky can keep up :) Pinky is a 6 year old, 50lb Staffy. She is looking for a home where she can serve as a companion to her humans. Pinky is house and crate trained. No resource guarding with food or toys. She is not too crazy about baths but she will sit through a bath and nail trim with no arguments :) You need to meet Pinky today. She is truly one of a kind. So sweet, so affectionate, so eager to please you.

Knickerbocker .... a name fitting for a chap whose stubby legs are too short to fit into regular pants 😊😊😊 wait, there's more. It is quite an endearing sight to watch him run. His little legs are just flailing all over the place. Too cute!!! His personality ... now this is something to get serious about. He is so very sweet, affectionate, and so people oriented. He is all about his people. Knickers can be quite a heartbreaker. When he is wrapped around you in your arms or lap, all you want to do is gaze into his gorgeous face. He gazes right back. And then he tries to sneak in unrefined sloppy kisses. Sometimes, he comes at you fast too, so be warned! It is always a Cleopatra and Mark Antony moment with him

Story
Did someone say squeaky toys? Better watch out! Moose is coming for ‘em! 😊 The love story between Moose and his squeakies is a tear jerking one. Moose loves squeaky toys more than life itself. He will carry around that squeaky in his mouth. He will run with it, sleep with it, play with it, or fetch with it. But in the end, he will tear it up, rip it apart and attempt to eat the squeaky! Oh no, no foreign body surgery for you buddy! He can only have a squeaky toy when he is closely monitored. The only other thing that could rival squeakies are big balls he can chase or kick around. This kid has a secret inspiration to be David Beckham 😊 Balls are great because he can’t destroy them like squeakies! Moose will try to engage his humans in plays but if you are not in an engaging mood, Moose will entertain himself. Moose is quite independent, but he likes to have an open view of his humans 😊 He will still bring you his toys, to show them off, to let you know happy he is, or that it is time for new ones 😊 When not busy tending to his toys and balls, Moose is an avid trick learner. He will sit, listening and watching intently to try and learn a new trick, for as long as it takes. He is a smart one. He learned how to give paw in one 20 minutes training session! Because Moose is easily distracted by everything, he doesn’t walk well on a leash. He is a puller :/ Good news is, it should be quite easy to teach him how to walk like a gentleman. Moose is a 1.5-year-old 70lb Staffy mix. He is looking for a family who can guide him out of his puppy stage and show him good behaviors. Moose is still learning what are acceptable behaviors. Sometimes, he is just a curious oversized puppy and gets into things :/ Moose is housebroken, and crate trained. Moose has occasional allergies. His eyes get goopy but quickly resolved with Benadryl. He takes medication like a champ 😊

Story
Friend! Thanks for stopping by, I sure love visitors and can't wait to tell you all about my favorite thing...ME! I am a sweet, young boxer mix who was picked up as a stray, wandering down the road with my sister. Seems likely my owner kicked us out when we got too old to sell, so we took to the streets. Thankfully we didn't have to stay there long and found our way to some amazing people called DOG RESCUERS. I've been in a foster home for a while now, and what I can tell you is that I love my foster family, and I love to play with the dogs who already lived in the home. It takes me just a bit to warm up to new people; after all, I was tossed out like trash before so am nervous of that happening again. My ideal home would have another playful dog for me to learn from; not only will it help get my energy out, but it would also help me learn house manners and will help me bond with my human family. I am crate trained and doing great on potty training, with only an occasional accident. Pretty much the perfect package here. Please consider applying to adopt me; I would really love a family to call my own! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Age: 8 months Adoption fee: $350

Story
Venus: the Roman goddess of love and beauty. Venus: also my name and, while I'm not Roman, I was picked up as a stray, roamin'. I am around 2 years old and 40 pounds, and have the most beautiful face you might have ever seen. When I was picked up, I tested positive for heartworm and was covered in urine stains, which means that I probably spent a lot of time outside, in a small area where I had to sleep on the same spot that I used the bathroom. This almost ended in a death sentence for me, until Multiple Breed Rescue agreed to take me, get me the treatment I needed, and give me a chance to find a real forever family. I am partway through my heartworm treatment now. I have two injections to get still, on May 13 & 14. After that, I need another 30 days of low activity, then I can start resuming normal life. You don't need to worry about my heartworm, though. You can't catch it from me, and I can't give it to other pets in your home, so other than staying calm for a little while longer it's not really a big deal for me, and I hope it's not a deal breaker for you. Afterall, the alternative was that I was going to be euthanized, so picking treatment was a no brainer for me! I've been in a foster home for a little while now, and my foster mom really loves me. I like to be in my crate, and I like to go on leashed walks, which works out well with my treatment plan. I get along great with the people I meet, including kids, and have gotten along great with other dogs, too. I love to get cuddles and pets from my foster family, and they like that I don't slobber them with too many kisses. I like to play with toys, and am very treat and food motivated. I don't chew things I shouldn't, I don't get into the garbage or take things off the counter, and I am potty trained so only do my business outside. Foster mom says I am the best girl, and she seems to really know what she's talking about, so I believe her when she tells me that. My ideal family is one that will take me on adventures, who has plenty of toys for me, and who will shower me with the love I deserve. Please pick me to complete your family! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Story
Joy: the emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good; elation. Boy, if that doesn't describe me! I am Joy and I am elated to be living this life. I am a 5-year-old short, squat low rider, weighing about 55 pounds. I might be all muscle, but that's all the better for me to muscle my way into your heart and to force you to LOVE me. I was found wandering the streets and, when brought to the local shelter, I tested positive for heartworm. Thankfully I was picked to go to a rescue that day, as some of my other friends at the shelter weren't so lucky. I came so close to dying, and was absolutely elated to make it out alive. Let me tell you a little bit about my heartworm treatment. I don't want it to scare you off; after all, without it, I wouldn't be here still. I am partway through treatment; I have back-to-back injections on May 5 & 6, and then another 30 days of low activity. After that I can start resuming a normal life. As for my heartworms, you can't catch them, and neither can the other pets in your home, so no need to worry about that! Now, for the good stuff, all about me. I am destined to be friends with every human I meet. I don't understand or value your personal space, at all. For this reason alone, I may not be a great fit for small kids as they might not want to be smothered with my love. I am crate and potty trained, I'm obsessed with my red rubber ball, and I live to snuggle and get face rubbies. I'm not looking to be anyone's hiking partner; short walks for some sniffs then getting down to business, then back inside where the food and couch is work just fine for me. I guess I'm what you could call a couch potato. One area I might not shine in is my ability to be friends with kitties, so I need a cat free home, please. If all this sounds great to you, and you could be the almond to my joy, complete your application today! All dogs available for adoption are in foster homes. Please do not visit the location as it is a privately run boarding, training, and grooming facility. Meet and greets are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters.
