This sweet girl is one of many dogs who's fate it was to be abandoned here in the south. People are throwing sweet dogs out day and night in this economy. Ducky is one of the lucky ones that was picked up by a kind stranger and brought to a rescue that was able to find a foster! She is Spayed and UTD on required vaccines. Ducky likes other dogs but is rambunctious. She loves everyone she meets so older children would be fine. She is close to housetrained and will just need to get comfortable with her new routine. Oreo is currently at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. -Oreo is a male mixed breed. His DNA results were: 42% American Staffordshire Terrier, 16% Australian Cattle Dog, 13% American Pit Bull Terrier, and 5% or less of 12 other breeds. -just turned a year old (February 14th) -Weighs around 55-60 pounds (February 14th), will be a medium-large dog. -Came into rescue with other puppies; they were dumped on the side of the road. -He is high energy! Will need a person/family that loves to be outdoors and exercise with him. -Very sweet natured -Likes playing with the other pups in the rescue -Needs work on walking on a leash -Likes to put his legs in the water bowl when he drinks -Video of Oreo from February 7th: https://youtube.com/shorts/mA22hStgy_M Oreo is neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed and is on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention.
