Looking for love?Grandma Trina is a wonderful companion for any household. With her gentle demeanor and heartwarming presence, she is sure to make you fall hard in love. She a shining example of resilience and forgiveness. Despite facing hardships in her past, her sweet disposition and forgiving nature shine through, masking any traces of her difficult journey. Her unwavering affection and boundless love are testaments to her incredible spirit and capacity for kindness. Woof-Facts:Name: Grandma TrinaBreed: Staffie blendWeight: 50 lbsAge: 9Gender: Female Health: Spayed, UTD on vaccines. Forever home recommendations: So many options for her! She never met a stranger, she is quiet, loving, sweet, and gentle. Kids: She's has been great with all ages. Dogs: She seems ok with dogs but a meet is required (probably best with medium-large dogs)Cats: NoCrate trained: Yes, but can be left alone uncrated.House trained: Working on it.Leash manners: Great! Personality: Trina is a great learner and listener. Loves car rides and snuggling. Not shy, knows a few basic commands, an easy going, sweet lady. How did Trina find herself at Rescue Haven Foundation: Grandma Trina arrived at a small local urban shelter with an orange sized tumor dangling from her foot. Her skin was rough and she looked very neglected. We learned she was adopted from another shelter 7 years prior but clearly they failed to keep their promise to give her a happy life. She since had her tumor removed and waiting for her perfect family, one who will treat her with nothing but love and kindness.March 1, 2024, 11:59 am

Story
Dahlia is a two-year old, energetic cuddle bug looking for a new furever family. We adopted her in North Carolina the Summer of 2022. She loves to run and go on adventures and loves a good game of tug-of-war. We love her dearly, but due to changes in our personal lives we cant give her the love she deserves. Adoption fee is very negotiable to the right family. We are looking to rehome Dahlia to a loving family that: Is active and will take her on regular walks/runs. Has sibling pets to be good role models (she wants friends!) or can otherwise socialize her. Dahlia gets very excited around other animals and tries to run up and play with them, but her energy tends to scare other dogs. Can train her. Shes house trained and knows basic cues like "sit," "down," and "come." She gets distracted easily when outside, so doesn't have automatic recall and needs to walk on-leash. Wants lots of cuddles and kisses from Dahlia! She is super cuddly and loving once you get to know her.

Story
Meet Bambi! Bambi is a Staffordshire terrier, with maybe pitbull or retriever like labrador, possibly even a little hound! as. She is 11 months old and almost 50 pounds. She will remain medium-sized, as her mama is 50 pounds. Bambi is crate trained and sleeps in her crate at night. She is mostly potty trained and has already learned to go to the door to be let out. Bambi has been fostered with kids, adult dogs, puppies, and kittens. She is very submissive with the adult dogs and is not interested in rambunctious play. She is doing great on leash training, She loves exploring and long walks will be great for her. Bambi’s favorite toys are anything she can chew on! Balls, ropes, and squeaky Kong toys. Bambi is very smart, treat motivated, and eager to learn. She loves a good snuggle and will run and melt into your arms! Interested in becoming a forever home for Bambi? Story
Meet Hippo! Hippo is an absolute lover boy. We think he is a Staffordshire terrier and probably has several other breeds in his mix, a true Super Mutt! We love his short stubby little legs. Hippo is about 45 pounds and three or four years old. He walks great on a leash and loves car rides and snoozing on the sofa, wherever his people are is where this boy wants to be! He is great with kids and people of all kinds. He would do best as an only dog because he doesn’t like too many dogs around him, so a dog park is not for Hippo. He also loves wearing his outfits, he thinks he looks pretty snazzy. He will also chase cats and squirrels, so no cats in his new home. Hippo has a long sad story. He was hit by a car and taken to a veterinarian clinic by Good Samaritan. He was treated by the clinic for a broken pelvis, but his family never came to claim him. Interested in becoming a forever home for Hippo? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.
