Mary Jane is currently enjoying a shelter break in foster care! To learn more about Mary Jane or to schedule a meet & greet, please email FosterAPet@LeagueCityTX.gov to be connected with her foster family! --- Hello there, future family! My name is Mary Jane, and I'm a delightful 7-year-old lady looking for my forever home. I may not be a dog or cat kind of dog, but let me tell you, I'm the best kind of companion you could ever ask for. I'm a pro at this whole leash thing-strolling alongside you, enjoying the fresh air, and making our walks the highlight of my day. You'll be amazed at how well-behaved I am on a leash, a true walking buddy! Oh, and did I mention I'm crate trained and potty trained? Yes, I'm a well-mannered gal. One of my favorite things in the world is being your person. I might not be the most outgoing with other animals, but I promise to be the most devoted companion you could ever wish for. I'm a quiet soul, but my tail wags with excitement whenever I see my favorite people. That's right-I'm always happy to see you! I've got this whole treat thing down, too. Who doesn't love a good treat now and then? I sure do! And let's talk about toys. Stuffed toys are my absolute favorite. I could spend hours playing and cuddling with them. It's the little things in life, you know? In my golden years, all I'm really asking for is a loving home. I may not be a spring chicken, but my heart is full of love just waiting to be shared with you. If you're looking for a sweet, gentle, and low-maintenance companion, look no further. I'm right here, ready to be your loyal friend for life. So, what do you say? Let's make some memories together. If you're looking for a sweet older lady to share your days with, fill out that adoption application and let's start our journey together. I promise you won't regret it-just endless love, companionship, and the joy of having me, Mary Jane, as your forever friend.

Story
If you are looking for the perfect dog, your search is over. Atticus is a gentle giant. He is appx 6-8 years old, neutered, and the calmest gentleman ever. He is heartworm positive and rescue has started his treatment and will continue to cover after adoption. Atticus is kid dog and even cat friendly! He loves nothing more than to chill with his foster mom. He does play, he likes to "mouth" not bite at all, he just is the sweetest, easiest boy. Even when playing with a mentally handicapped dog in foster home, he is excellent with him. He has excellent house manners, potty trained, doesn't chew and wants nothing more than to have belly rubs and butt scratches. Atticus loves to go on walks, watching the neighbors going on with their lives. If you are looking for the absolutely perfect companion, look no further. Www.rangersreach.org Note: The above bio on the dog reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Story
We got Mia she was 8 months old from a pet store. While she was up for sale as a puppy she developed a cherry eye and was there for several months to recover from surgery. This resulted in making potty training difficult. She is kennel trained, and she will potty outside when we take her but she doesn’t let us know when she needs to go. Mia is very sweet and behaves great at the vet and groomers, but she does bark and growl at anyone that visits us. The overprotective behavior is manageable . However, our son has autism and during a recent meltdown he kicked Mia in the face. This time she was cool with it, however; we fear that if it happens again it might be bad. In addition, my mother will move with us soon and Mia does not like my mom. We would love for her to find a better home. Mia is playful and loves cuddling.
