Nala is just the sweetest. She gets along well with everyone including my cats and my little niece and nephew and loves my teen son. She's still skittish with loud noises and sudden movements but improves every day. She hasn't been destructive at all. She loves playing fetch and running around with toys. Her leash manners have come super far and she rarely pulls. She still needs to be lifted to get in the car but is showing way less anxiety on our short car rides. She's making so much progress.

Story
What a great family dog this girl will make!!! She LOVES kids! Always cuddling, gentle, quiet, innocent, and does a happy dance! Chicken LOVES kids. She recently met a sweet 5-year-old boy at the park and her eyes lit up and her tail started wagging as soon as he petted her. Watch her video here: https://youtu.be/GKQsiN3-c9w?si=6BFHCePXqFsWp44L What I love about Chicken the most is how in tune she is with you when you give her attention. She will walk at a heel to kiss your hand and get a pat on the head. Her recall is amazing. She comes trotting toward you to get love. She met my five-year-old son and acted totally comfortable around him, enjoying his attention. This girl loves to run with her person. Chicken would make a great girl for a family who enjoys running, biking, and hiking. This girl has not slowed down with her age nor does she look it. Her favorite event is cuddling near her people. She loves soft blankets, lying near your feet while you work, and cozying into your side on the couch. She doesn't even mind sharing her couch and you with other dogs. Chicken is a large mature girl who still has a lot of pep in her step. We think she is about 7ish years old. Chicken loves going to the river and wading in the water. She is the perfect girl to take along with the family. Chicken shows no signs of not being able to hang with an adventurer. When out at the park she is perfectly behaved. Perfect car rider and easy to handle. Chicken Nugget is a confident older girl who does well with other dogs. She isn't incredibly playful but would enjoy a home with another easy-going dog. Her current foster has a male Staffordshire terrier and she loves to lounge with him on mom's bed. Chicken Nugget is currently in Texas and ready for a virtual meet and greet. We are happy to answer any questions you might have. Story
What I LOVE about DUKE: he is calm, exceptionally loyal, and loving, perfect to take anywhere. Duke’s current foster is a teacher with no other dogs at home. Duke is okay with hanging out in his crate until she gets home. He is fostered in a suburban neighborhood and loves to take walks with his foster for exercise. He also loves couch cuddles! Duke says he would prefer a home with squirrels to chase in a big backyard and a cozy couch to squeeze his 62 pounds into to get his love scratches on. His age is a complete guess. He may be younger. He does not act like a senior. He is mature and laid-back but does not act old at all. We absolutely adore his energy level, and how lovable he is. He is going to make a best friend for someone. " When I took Duke out on the trail this afternoon, he walked beautifully on the leash! There was a dog on the trail that was not on a leash. Yikes! Duke did not react, even though the dog was barking and walking towards us. I had Duke sit and wait patiently until the dog started to walk away with its owner. Duke would check in with me, and we kept walking. He had a great walk!" Duke is an 8-year-old medium-energy sweet soul who loves attention and going places. He went to a restaurant this week and stood patiently next to the table while we ate dinner. He did not jump on people, bark, or do anything embarrassing. He sat for french fries on command, greeted the children, and wagged his tail when every new person came up to say hello. He did not bark or snap towards other dogs. He was a pleasure to have around out in public! His foster mom says, “ My favorite thing about Duke is he is so happy to see me when I get home and after his walk he loves to couch cuddle with me. Duke is also the quietest dog I have ever met and the perfect car rider. Anyone who adopts him will be so lucky!”- Hannah He will jump right into the car and sit in his assigned chair like a perfect gentleman. His manners are impeccable in the car. Fall in love with DUKE: https://youtu.be/NU9U3hKYQ_o When taking him to the park to walk, he was a quiet boy the entire time. He wouldn't have cared if a stranger wanted to say hello. The kids playing loudly in the background didn't bother him at all either. Dogs would stroll by and he would want to meet, but he never once barked or growled at another dog. Now once Duke gets a bit of exercise down, his leash skills of pulling improve well.... until he sees those pesky squirrels. He thinks they secretly torment him!! Duke is dog friendly but being a senior gentleman, he doesn't want to play or rough house. His perfect dog mate would be an easy going female or an older female girl who knows how to relax. Relaxing is Duke's jam! Duke is fostered in Texas! We would love to do a virtual meet and greet and answer any questions about this boy. Story
A forever puppy, a perfect little baby, our special guy, Xander is absolutely ADORED by all that know him. Xander loves people, other dogs, treats, spreading joy, being silly. He’s a lovebug too- Xander enjoys couch snuggles, face kisses, and belly rubs. Xander is a bundle of fun and joy, wrapped up in a wiggly 46 pound package. Xander is a funny boy, there’s never a dull moment with him. Xander’s charm is always “on,” even when he’s relaxing. If Xander sees you coming, he’ll push out his tongue, widen his eyes, or burst into a grin- just to let you know that he sees you, loves you, and would be okay with a little play time! He’s a naturally happy boy, on a mission to spread joy. We suspect Xander to be a Staffie, Bulldog mix, but Xander is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are a mystery. Xander is approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 46 lbs, fully grown. The 46 pounds are just chonk, not overall size- Xander is itty bitty. Literally tiny and adorable!! He’s the perfect size to sit in your lap!! Xander is a very easy pup to have around, he’s overflowing with joy but mindful of himself and doesn’t knock people over. He’s good on leash. He’s always up for an adventure. He has a very childlike nature to him and it’s so fun to watch the world through his eyes. He’s SO joyful, naturally optimistic, he definitely doesn’t know that he’s in rescue- he thinks he lives with a big weird family. Xander is a gentle treat taker too, he’s really not too pushy about anything, he’s just happy to be around humans! He is super dog friendly! Xander loves to make doggy friends. He’s gets along with small and large dogs, Xander even has an 80-pound boy as a best friend. Every time we go to get Xander out of his crate, it is always clean and he is sitting with the tip of his tongue waiting for us. (cue the tears) He doesn't get uber excited and start to bark and jump. He waits til you open the crate, leash him up and get him out. This boy has our hearts. We can't decide if it is the dog friendliness, the child friendliness (has been fostered with a 10 and 2 year old, and spent a lot of time with a 3 year old!), the calmness, or the cute little tongue that has us going goo goo over him. We feel great about Xander going to a home with children, a home with one or more dogs, a first time owner, a home body, or even an adventurous family! Xander would enjoy a family that has another playful pup and a backyard suitable for zooming. He loves to be outside, rolling around in the grass, playing fetch, and getting his cardio in. Xander's goofy nature always makes kids laugh. Exceptionally treat motivated and eager to please, Xander is very trainable. He is already crate trained but may need a reminder about where the appropriate potty places are in a home once in his forever home. Consistency and routine are key once a new dog enters your home! We are willing to test Xander Lane with anything you need us to in order to ensure that he’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. 🐾 Meet Jessica! 🐾 Hello! My name is Jessica, and while I might look solid and stunning on the outside, I'm all about cuddles on the inside. Don't be surprised if I try to climb into your lap—it's my favorite spot, even if I'm a bit larger than your typical lap dog! I'm the epitome of playful energy and would love a yard to run and play in with daily walks for socialization and to stay healthy. I'm also sharpening my skills with basic commands like sit and stay, and I love toys that squeak! While I adore playing with dogs of all ages and sizes, I value my alone time, too, perfect for decompression after a fun-filled day. Rest assured, I'm well-mannered at home, being both crate and potty-trained. If you're looking for a loyal companion who can both pull you along on new adventures and pull at your heartstrings, I'm your girl. Ready to add strength and sweetness to your life with a snuggle bug like me? Let's meet and start our journey together! 🐾❤️ Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/65bfd33b7114afda750a2bd7 Please email elizabethbower@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey there potential human! I'm Tase, the boss pup you've been waiting for. I'm a 50-pound Bull Terrier mix, smart, athletic, and let's face it, pretty amazing. Let's get down to business:   House-trained? Check. Crate-trained? Check. But let's not overdo it - I prefer being out and about when you're home. I'm an active guy with impressive jumping skills, so a secure yard is a must.    Now I do get along with other dogs, but here's the thing: I would like a home where I can be the star of the show. Training and attention? Give me all of it! I'm about 2 years old, super smart, and catch on quickly but I love and need the mental stimulation that training can give me. I love training and already know a lot of obedience and a few tricks. It's easy! Just grab a treat and you've got my attention.    I'm looking for an owner who can match my energy and smarts. Training, mental stimulation, and clear boundaries are what I thrive on. But it's not all action all the time; I'm a pro at chill time too. Need a dog who will lean against you and sit on your feet? I can do that!   So, if you're ready for an adventurous, cuddly, and somewhat bossy best friend, I'm your guy. Let's meet and conquer life together! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hey there, human friends! My name's Sweet Pete, and I'm a 2.5-year-old male bull terrier with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I tip the scales at a solid 40 pounds, and I'm on a journey to find my forever home. Life's thrown me some curveballs and I've learned a lot in my short life, including making great progress on my crate training and house training. I'm a quick learner, especially when treats are involved! I absolutely adore playing with other dogs—it's one of my favorite things! There's nothing better than a good romp with a canine buddy. However, I get super excited when meeting new friends, both the two-legged and four-legged kind. My enthusiasm knows no bounds! Because of my bouncy nature, I'd do best in a home with kids over 8 years old, who can join in on the fun without getting knocked over by my exuberant greetings. What I want more than anything in the world is a family of my own—a group of special humans who will love me for who I am, enthusiasm, and all. I'm looking for patient owners who will continue to help me learn new skills, understand my excitement and meeting new friends, and guide me with a gentle hand. In return, I promise to be your loyal companion, always ready with a wagging tail and a wet nose to brighten your day. So, if you're looking for a lovable and affectionate, spirited pup who's eager to learn, play, and love, look no further than me, Sweet Pete. I can't wait to meet you and start our life of adventure together. Could you be the forever family I've been dreaming of? Let's make those dreams a reality! Fill out an application at: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 14, 2024, 12:58 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Yo!! Let me introduce myself. My name is Bronx D'Puppy and I'm thought to be a boxer/lab mix. In rescue tho, that's not 100% guaranteed. I am 6 months old and am a growing boy. I love to play, play and play some more. I love all my foster brothers and sisters and we have a great time playing all day. I love my toys and I especially love my tennis ball. I am working on potty training and will need continued assistance for my success. I know how to use a doggy door and so far I get along with the cats I've met.  I will likely be a big boy when I'm full grown. Not a sure bet but likely around 50 - 60 lbs.  I will need someone with patience and understanding  committed to training to help me become the best dog I can be. In return, you will have my loyalty, the best snuggles and all my love!
