Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. NEW RESCUE! Hi! I’m Nova Scotia! I’m a one-year-old boxer mix (my foster family thinks I might also have some German shepherd and pitbull in me). I’m on the lookout for my forever family, and I think you should know—I’m kind of the whole package! I live with five other dogs right now, and I get along with all of them. I’m playful and love a good romp, but I’m also respectful and know when another pup doesn’t want to play. I’m great with kids too, so I’d fit right in with a fun, busy household. I’m house trained and love using my doggy door. I’m also crate trained and feel extra safe enjoying my meals in my crate. I’ve got plenty of energy and would be happiest with someone who takes me on daily adventures. I’m super smart, eager to please, and treat-motivated—so I’d be a dream dog for anyone who likes to teach tricks or maybe even try out dog sports. Even though I’m athletic, I’m also a total cuddlebug. I love being near my people and being part of whatever they’re doing. At the end of the day, nothing makes me happier than curling up with you for some snuggles. So…what do you say? Do you have room in your heart (and on your couch) for me? Story
LION – Male Boxer | 2 Years Old - DOB 11/25/2023 |    50 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated & Neutered Introducing Lion, the sweetest big-hearted Boxer boy you’ll ever meet! At 2 years old, Lion has that perfect blend of Boxer goofiness and soulful loyalty. He’s playful, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely loves being near his humans. Lion is the type of dog who wiggles when he’s happy, leans in for cuddles, and charms everyone he meets with his warm, gentle nature. Breed Info: Boxers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and famously silly personalities. They are deeply loyal, people-oriented, and incredibly loving companions. Boxers thrive on interaction, bonding, and being included in family life. Lion reflects the best of his breed — goofy, devoted, and full of heart. Owner Responsibilities: To help Lion thrive, he’ll need: Daily exercise (walks, play, and engagement) Structure, training, and positive reinforcement Plenty of affection and time with his family A safe, stable home where he won’t be left alone too long Give him routine, purpose, and love — and Lion will give you devotion for life. Things to Consider Before Adopting Lion: Are you ready for a medium-energy, highly social dog? Do you have the time and stability for daily exercise and bonding? Is your home and landlord dog-friendly? Are you prepared to commit to a dog for the next 10+ years? Are you ready for a dog who wants to be included as part of the family, always? Dogs are forever — not until convenient. Vet Care: Lion is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. Please take him to your own vet shortly after adoption to set up ongoing care and ensure his continued well-being. The 3-3-3 Rule & Lifelong Commitment: First 3 days: He decompresses and starts to feel safe. First 3 weeks: Lion learns your routine, expectations, and begins trusting fully. First 3 months: He bonds deeply, understanding he is truly home at last. Adoption is forever — and Lion is ready to give his heart unconditionally. Why Lion Would Be a Great Addition: Lion is a loyal, affectionate, and joy-filled companion who will bring warmth and love into any home. His expressive Boxer charm, playful energy, and gentle nature make him the kind of dog who forms bonds that last a lifetime. He’ll make you laugh, comfort you on hard days, and love you with everything he has. He’s not just a dog — he’s family. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Story
Nala is a 5-year-old boxer whose entire mission is to love her person with her whole wiggly heart. She greets you with full-body tail wags, leans into your legs, and curls up beside you— or on top of you! She has the goofy boxer charm — dramatic butt wiggles, crooked sits, paw “talking,” playful twirls, and joyful laser-pointer zoomies — plus a tender, sensitive side. Nala loves closeness, human touch, and being someone’s emotional companion. She’s a true Velcro dog who will quietly comfort you when you’re upset. Nala is past the wild puppy phase and is house-trained, crate-trained, sleeps well, and is stable and playful. She thrives as the only dog and does best with a calm, quieter lifestyle and a person who values connection over crowds. She has made progress with training (including K9 Lifeline) and will do best with someone who understands her world should expand slowly and without pressure. She doesn’t need a busy life — just a loving home where she can belong.

Meet Journey — a 2-year-old, 30 lb Boxer mix with the cutest little underbite and a heart full of love. She’s the perfect mix of playful and easygoing: she’ll happily play fetch or tug for a few minutes, then settle in for a long nap—preferably on your lap or stretched across your legs.Journey can be shy with new people, but once she trusts you, she becomes your loyal shadow and sweetest cuddlebug. She’s house trained, learning her leash manners, and improving with car rides. She has been crated for short periods (2-4 hours at a time) and does well. She is good with other dogs (cats and kids unknown). She’s an enthusiastic chewer, so she’ll need plenty of toys to keep her busy. She can live in an apartment and reliably goes potty on leash.Journey would thrive with a patient adopter who can help her continue building confidence and maybe even provide a doggy friend. If you’re looking for a loving, snuggly companion with a snaggletooth smile, Journey might be the perfect match for you.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This is Duncan Doggie, He is almost 6 years old, 67 pound Pit Bull (possibly a mix, there is no way to really know for sure in rescue) that has a lot of love to give but will need some special care in his furever home. Duncan has a lot of love to give and is overall a very happy and healthy boy but it took a lot of time, love and some medical care to get him there.  Duncan Doggie was found dumped on the grounds of Avenal State Prison in California June of 2023 and no one really knows how he got there. He was covered in wounds that were either from other dogs or coyotes, missing a majority of his fur, skin rubbed raw, and a lot of his teeth were broken. A volunteer at the Avenal shelter posted a TikTok in hopes that a rescue would pull him and give him the medical attention he needed and the love he deserved, that is where I found him. I instantly fell in love with him and drove the 1800 mile round trip to pick him up and bring him back to Northern Utah.    He is the biggest love bug and will gladly accept scratches and cuddles from any humans big or small! He loves to run around in the yard, play tug of war, play fetch, and if you are lucky he will even bring the ball back to you! True to his breed he also loves being lazy, he has his favorite purple minky that he stole from me and will go with him to his forever home for him to cuddle to his heart's content. He currently lives with children aged 3-14 and he is wonderful with all of them, sometimes he will get the wiggle butts and his tail could make him considered armed and dangerous, other than that though he is a complete sweetheart. Unfortunately due to his past he is fear reactive to any adult dogs and an addendum will be included in his adoption contract. He has loved every single puppy I've fostered in the last 8 months like it was his own but any adult dogs at home or in public terrify him and make him get full body shakes and then turn to aggression if he can't be removed from the other dog immediately.    Since having Duncan here he has made huge strides in his health and he has been the happiest, most loving foster from the second I picked him up. We discovered that his fur was missing and skin was raw due to food allergies, he needs to be on a grain and poultry free diet to prevent that from happening again in the future, he is currently eating a salmon based food and thriving on it. In addition to his allergies he was in need of a complete dental and is down 14 teeth but that doesn't stop him from eating dry food and enjoying treats like any other dog. He is resilient and has not let a single negative thing slow him down, he is truly a special dog.   If you are interested in giving this handsome man a safe and happy home where he can be an only dog you can apply to meet him at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 2, 2025, 4:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi, my name is Metric! I am likely a Pitt/Heeler mix weighing just about 50 pounds and am just barely 1 year old!  I can be shy at first but when I warm up- which won’t take long- all I will want to do is snuggle up close to you!   I have big playful puppy energy and I love to exercise to get some excitement out, but at the end of the day all I want to do is snuggle with my people and my dog siblings! I am crate trained, potty trained, and am really working hard on my leash manners! My favorite game is tug, I love to chew on bones and I love to chase around my older sibling while we play with squeaky toys! I know how to sit, stay, and wait for my food like a good girl before I am released to eat it! I am very food motivated and also one of my favorite treats is an ice cube    I would do best in a home with a dog who is my size or bigger, and one who is older than me to help teach me confidence and solidify my good girl manners  I would also do well as an only dog but I sure love to snuggle with my foster dog siblings right now! I would do best with kids over 10-12 since I am just a big playful puppy! I am great with other dogs when properly introduced.    I get really excited when my foster parents first get home, or when friends come over to visit but I calm down quickly and all of the new friends I’ve met can’t stop talking about what a sweet, lovable girl I am! I really can’t wait to find my perfect family to love and snuggle with   Apply to bring me home here   https://rescuerovers.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=4087  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 10, 2025, 4:17 pm
