Please help this SWEET Bully mix Baby! he's only 1 yr. Good w/ dogs, he loves everyone, probably fine with cats too. Shorty is now about 35 lbs. and maybe 1/2" taller, still very small and cuddly. He's very affectionate, quiet, humble, smart and good on his leash. He is so sweet and well behaved, and he doesn't bark. He needs an adoptive home where he can get the love and security he deserves. He'd also like a small brother or sister to play with. He has been fully vetted, and tested negative for heartworm and tick diseases. This sweet girl came to us from Appomattox County Animal Shelter, where she’d been waiting since May. She was a staff favorite there — and after just a few days in our care, it’s easy to see why! Opal is a 7–9-year-old pittie with a beautifully “salted” white face and a big, lovable presence at around 65–70 lbs. She’s already settling into her foster home and starting to show off her true personality. So far, we’ve learned that Opal loves being around her people, enjoys a good roll in the grass, and isn’t shy about sharing her thoughts — she’s quite the talker! She’s been dog-tested and proven to be dog-friendly, and she’s currently living with a cat — so far, things have been calm and uneventful, which makes us think she’s cat-friendly too! Opal is also house trained, does well being crated, and knows a few basic commands — such a smart and well-mannered girl! Even though Opal is considered a senior, she’s not letting that slow her down one bit. She’s making up for lost time after months in the shelter, and her big, joyful personality is truly endearing. We just know there’s someone out there looking for a dog exactly like Opal — could it be you? 💕
