Meet Sammy — 75 lbs of charm, heart, and goofy fun! At 3 years old, Sammy is a lovable, food-motivated goofball with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Watermelon and apples are his absolute favorites, and he’s been known to stash a snack or two in his jowls just in case dessert is delayed. He has the perfect mix of playful zoomies and professional lounging skills and loves parading his toys like prized possessions. Sammy is snuggly, patient, and full of personality, always ready to make you laugh or melt your heart with his soulful eyes. He is crate trained, house trained, and medium energy, though he is still brushing up on his leash manners and can be strong on leash—he learns quickly, especially when treats are involved. Sammy would love a yard or some space where he can exercise, burn off energy, and continue his training. At this time, he would do best with submissive dogs that match his energy level, and in a household with children ages 12 and up. Story
Nola is almost a 2 year old female pitbull (birthday 10/31/24). We took her in from a neglectful situation several months back where she was being starved and abused. We wanted to get her out of the situation she was in and get some weight on her and vetted. She has gained about 10 pounds since we took her in. We unfortunately cannot keep her because we have 3 of our own dogs. She gets along great with other dogs and cats as well. She needs a home where someone works from home and can spend the time to thoroughly train her. We’ve been able to train her a bit and she is very very smart, but we have our own animals and cannot spend the one-on-one time that she needs. We both work full time jobs and are not home enough for her. She’s loyal and will become your shadow. Since taking her in, she has become more confident and extroverted. She absolutely loves being able to cuddle! She has been spayed and dewormed and is fully up to date on all vaccines. We just want her to go to a good home.
