Story
Rococo is a sweet, playful little puppy with a big heart and an even bigger love for fun. Around three months old, he is currently thriving in a loving foster home where he is getting all the care, attention, and structure a young puppy needs to grow into his best self. Every day he is learning new things about the world, and every day his confidence and personality continue to shine. Rococo absolutely loves to play. Toys are a big favorite of his, and he enjoys exploring them, tossing them around, and proudly carrying them from place to place like little treasures. He also loves being outside where he can run, explore, and take in all the exciting sights and smells. He has that classic puppy energy where everything is fun, everything is new, and every moment feels like an adventure. Watch his YouTube video now https://youtu.be/xJBI_rDFCvk?si=Iuf7Tj6O2Zme-Cnc Even with his playful side, Rococo is also incredibly sweet and affectionate. He enjoys being near people and is learning how comforting and enjoyable human connection can be. After a good play session, he is more than happy to settle in for quiet time, cuddles, and affection. He is still very young, so he is just beginning his journey of learning routines, potty training, and basic manners, but he is showing that he is eager to learn and respond to gentle guidance. As Rococo grows, he will continue developing into his own unique adult personality. Like all puppies, he will benefit greatly from patience, consistency, training, and socialization as he matures. With the right support, he has the potential to adapt well to many different types of homes, whether that includes an active lifestyle, a family environment, or a home with another friendly dog to play with. Rococo is goofy, loving, curious, and full of puppy charm. He is ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless love into the life of his future family. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/69dd4b1472b3659793049a4b Questions? Story
Bella Rose sounds like the name of a sweetheart in a movie and honestly… it fits her perfectly. This girl has one of those soft, angelic faces that immediately makes you trust her, the kind where you look at her and instantly think “awww sweet baby.” Then she starts wiggling her whole little body in excitement to come say hi and it’s pretty much game over for you. Between her happy wiggle butt, adorable freckles scattered throughout her body, and the gentle, easygoing way she moves through life, Bella Rose has this naturally comforting presence about her that just makes people smile. She’s sweet without being over the top, playful without being wild, and has the kind of personality that makes her feel easy to picture in everyday life. The type of dog that quickly becomes part of the routine, part of the family, and honestly… one of your favorite parts of the day. Watch her video and fall in love with her personality: https://youtu.be/5gVC73GkFbA?si=T3mjVOUNB5hfj3aa Bella Rose is believed to be a pittie mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 57 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Bella is honestly the perfect middle ground when it comes to affection. She’s not the type that’s going to follow you into the bathroom, crawl into your skin, or dramatically throw herself on top of you demanding attention every second of the day LOL. But she’s also not distant either. She has this really easy, natural way of showing affection where she’ll come lean into you for pets, curl up beside you on the couch, quietly follow you from room to room, and check in throughout the day just enough to make you feel loved and connected to her. It’s actually such a refreshing kind of companionship. She gives affection in a very genuine, calm way that feels comforting instead of overwhelming. Like she just wants to be part of your life and near her people without needing to be the center of attention 24/7. One thing Bella absolutely does get excited about though? Her toys. Especially balls LOL. Give this girl a tennis ball and she is fully entertained. She loves tossing them around for herself, chasing after them, carrying them from room to room, and happily creating her own little games without needing constant interaction from you. It’s honestly really nice because she has no problem entertaining herself for long stretches of time while you work, clean the house, or just relax nearby. Every now and then she’ll look over at you like, “did you see that?” after making a great catch or dramatic pounce, which somehow makes it even cuter. She has this fun, playful side to her that comes out so naturally with toys, and it’s such a good balance with her otherwise easygoing personality. From what we’ve seen so far, Bella Rose was really sweet with the two kiddos she met that were ages 5 and 8 years old. She was respectful, playful, and happily hung out right in the middle of all the activity without seeming overwhelmed by the running around, playing, or general kid chaos happening around her. One thing we especially noticed was how naturally gentle she was. She wasn’t jumping all over them or being too much, she just seemed genuinely happy being included in the fun and soaking up the attention. Based off the interactions we observed, we do think Bella Rose has a lot of potential to make a really lovely companion for a family with kids in the right home. Bella is dog friendly and has done well with the dogs we have introduced to her so far. She has been with dogs her size and dogs smaller than her as well. When it comes to play time, she is good about matching the energy of the other dogs. She will play when play is invited and will enjoy those relaxing hangout moments too. When she does play, it’s consistent with running around (actually wiggling around), playing games of chase, and with the right dog she’ll engage in more physical type play. Bella has shared affection with other dogs with no issues and has shared treats around other dogs too. In a home, we do believe she would do best in a home with a male dog that is not too playful but not too lazy either. One that is happily right in the middle and one that has a more gentle play style that doesn’t take things too seriously. She would also do best in a home with no cats as well. Bella has shown to be a smart little lady as well and is treat motivated too. She already knows some basic commands such as sit, is crate trained and from what we have seen, she is potty trained too. Bella does pull on a leash and is currently practicing her leash manners and learning how to walk like a lady. She is being gentle lead trained and is already showing so much improvement with her leash skills and not pulling as much when she walks with her gentle lead on. She does great with structured leash walks and we do believe she would be a great companion to take with you on outings, walks around the neighborhood, or even mini hikes with the right handler. Her dream home can look like so many different things because of how adaptable she is. Work from home and want a companion? Bella will happily be there all day for emotional support. Have a family with kids and wanting a companion for your tweens or teens? Bella would love that too. We truly believe Bella would be happiest in a home with a backyard and a semi-active family that enjoys including their dog in everyday life. She’s not an over-the-top, nonstop energy type of girl, but she definitely enjoys having space to stretch her legs, play with her toys, lay out in the sun, and trot around checking out all the smells. She seems like the kind of dog that would thrive with a nice balance of activity and downtime. A family that enjoys walks around the neighborhood, hanging out in the yard, casual weekend outings, and then cozy evenings at home would fit her so well. Bella really just seems happiest when she gets to be part of the rhythm of your life, whether that’s playing fetch in the backyard, supervising while you garden, or relaxing nearby while everyone winds down for the night. We are willing to test Bella Rose with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Kayne is easy to fall in love with. He is a complete cuddle bug lover boy. Kayne is the type of dog who meets you and immediately makes you his best friend. When I first met Kayne, he immediately came up to me for affection and loved it. He leaned into me for more and more. Kayne is a people lover for sure. If you love a dog that loves you and likes to be snuggled ,then Kayne is going to be the perfect dog for you. To see him in action watch his YouTube video https://youtu.be/QCd67A--mNY?si=raY_OiewEWiTeoYi Kayne is about a year and a half years old , he is a pitbull mix and weighs 66 lbs. He has the prettiest yellow eyes in the whole world, and the cutest pixie ears I think I’ve ever seen. Kayne did very well meeting our other dogs, he met hyper dogs, calm, dogs, and crazy, playful dogs, and he did great with every single one. he didn’t play too much at first just sniffed them and explore the new yard he was in but once he got a play, he played so good. He is a very submissive player and had a great time rolling around. I think he would do best with a medium energy dog sibling. I think Kayne could live great in an apartment or a home . If he is living in an apartment, he would need an active family to help him get some of his young energy out. He is also pretty good walking on a leash. Kayne is extremely kid friendly. His Foster has a four and two year-old nephew and Kayne loves them with his whole heart. He is gentle with them and play with them super well. I think he would do amazing living in a home with kids. He is a good family dog. Cats on the other hand are a little too exciting and interesting for Kayne. He wants to play with them a little too much. Kayne is an amazing dog who would love a family that loves to go on adventures but also loves to cuddle up on the couch and watch some movies. If Kayne is a type of dog you could see living in your home please adopt him now before someone else falls in love with his beautiful eyes! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
This cutie is Bean Laker. He is currently 4 months old and weighs approximately 25 pounds. We think they may be a Pit Bull / Staffordshire Terrier mix*, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from us, it saves their life as well as the life of another in its place. Watch Bean's playful personality here: https://youtu.be/xpmftjrQIdU Bean is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. He loves to play with his siblings and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! Bean is a wonderful puppy. He is curious but gentle. He LOVES treats so training should be a breeze. He likes to lay in the sun but also romp around the living room with his brother. He has the cutest time playing with his brother. We pride ourselves in being able to give you good personality and behavioral information to help ensure this baby is the right fit for you. You are also welcome to do a Facetime call to meet your new baby before signing paperwork! Bean is still very young and will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. A puppy is discovering new things that shape their personalities with each passing day. Implementing routine, structure, setting boundaries, and proper socialization is key from the start. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy starting immediately when arriving at their new home, which will help with potty training, energy management, and the overall development of a well-rounded adult dog. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Some dogs just have that “good vibes only” energy about them and Valentino is absolutely one of those dogs. This boy walks through life like every single day is the best day ever and honestly? It’s impossible not to smile around him. Between the giant happy grin constantly plastered across his face, the goofy boxer-style enthusiasm, and the way he bounces around carrying toys like he’s hosting his own little party, Valentino brings SO much joy everywhere he goes. He’s playful, affectionate, silly, and full of personality without being over-the-top overwhelming. The type of dog that makes your house feel happier just because he’s in it. Watch his video and prepare to fall in love with this sunshine boy immediately: https://youtu.be/PVqTA6B0PWQ?si=QCY1iaqprp-ZCgrT Valentino is believed to be an American Staffy/Boxer mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 61 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. What we CAN guarantee though is that this boy has enough personality, charm, and happiness packed into him for at least five dogs LOL. Valentino absolutely adores people and forms really sweet bonds once he gets comfortable. He may take a second initially to fully relax around someone new, but honestly it doesn’t take long at all before his affectionate goofy side starts shining through. Once he knows you’re safe, he is all love. He has such a warm happy personality and truly feels like the type of dog that wakes up every morning excited just to exist. He loves attention, enjoys cuddling, and has this really joyful presence that makes him incredibly fun to be around. When it comes to other dogs, Valentino has done really well with every dog we have introduced him to so far and he LOVES to play. His play style is definitely more of the goofy rowdy “let’s wrestle and zoom around like maniacs” variety LOL. Chase games, rumble-and-tumble wrestling, bouncing around with toys, and vocal grumbly play are all very much his thing. Because he gets so excited during play, his ideal doggy match would probably be a confident playful female that enjoys that same roughhousing style, isn’t bothered by vocal play noises, and naturally knows how to take little breaks when things get too exciting. Valentino responds really well to balanced dogs that help keep play fun and easygoing. That being said, he absolutely does not NEED another dog in the home to be happy and would be just as content soaking up all the love and attention as your one-and-only spoiled boy. Valentino is crate trained, potty trained, incredibly smart, and very eager to please. He already knows commands like sit and honestly seems like the type of dog you could teach just about anything. We encouraged him to walk up an agility ramp one time and after that he started confidently doing it all on his own like he had discovered his hidden talent LOL. He loves toys of all kinds, balls, ropes, stuffies, chew toys, basically if it’s fun he’s into it. He’s also really good at entertaining himself while you get things done around the house. Food motivation definitely helps too because this boy LOVES treats and genuinely enjoys learning. On leash, Valentino walks pretty well overall but can still pull sometimes out of pure excitement because life is just SO exciting in Valentino’s world LOL. He’s essentially an oversized puppy with a huge zest for life and will thrive with adopters that continue giving him structure, consistency, training, and positive outlets for all that happy energy. He does best with confident guidance and clear boundaries so he can continue learning how to channel all that enthusiasm into being the best doggy citizen possible. Valentino’s dream home would absolutely include a backyard where he can zoom around, carry toys proudly through the grass, sunbathe, help supervise gardening projects, and splash around in water whenever possible. He seemed VERY into puddles and standing water so we would not be surprised at all if this boy turned out to be a full-blown water dog LOL. He’s semi-active overall and would love things like hikes, mini adventures, backyard playtime, enrichment toys, or really anything that lets him be included in life with his people. And after he’s gotten some exercise and burned off his zoomies? He is more than ready to curl up for cuddles and become your oversized weighted blanket on the couch for the rest of the evening. We are willing to test Valentino Heartthrob with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Story
There is something incredibly special about earning Tinkerbell's trust. At first, she can be a little reserved with new people, quietly taking everything in and deciding what she thinks about you. But once she realizes you're a friend, it's game over. Suddenly she's leaning into your pets, giving gentle kisses, curling up beside you on the couch, and looking at you like you've been her favorite person all along. Watching that transformation happen is one of the most rewarding things about her. Tinkerbell is the kind of dog that doesn't give her heart away to every stranger she meets, which somehow makes it even more meaningful when she gives it to you. Beneath that slightly cautious first impression is an incredibly sweet, affectionate, loving girl who wants nothing more than to be close to the people she trusts. Whether she's snuggled up in bed, being carried like a baby, splashing around in a kiddie pool, or happily following you from room to room, Tinkerbell has a way of making herself feel like family very quickly. Watch her video and prepare to fall in love with this sweet girl: https://youtu.be/zePyWmEUIQA?si=4UWeNZ91J9OzGKVn Tinkerbell is believed to be a Pittie/Cattle Dog mix approximately 1-2 years old and currently weighs 43 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Tinkerbell may be a little reserved when you first meet her, but don't let that fool you. Underneath that cautious exterior is one of the sweetest, cuddliest girls you'll ever meet. Once she trusts you, you have yourself a best friend for life. The kind that wants to be involved in whatever you're doing. The kind that leans into affection, gives gentle kisses, and happily curls up next to you on the couch at the end of the day. She loves being held like a baby, enjoys snuggling on the couch or bed, and soaks up affection from the people she trusts. Offer her some chicken and rice and you'll probably speed up the friendship process considerably. Food is definitely one of the ways to this girl's heart. One of our favorite things about Tinkerbell is watching her confidence blossom when she's around another dog. We noticed almost immediately that when she had a canine friend nearby, she was much more comfortable exploring, meeting new people, and participating in daily activities. Without another dog present, she can be a little more unsure of herself. With a dog friend by her side, though, she quickly realizes that everything is okay and starts showing off the sweet, loving personality that makes everyone fall for her. Tinkerbell is currently fostered with other dogs and absolutely loves having canine companions around. She is gentle, playful, and especially enjoys games of chase. We can easily picture her becoming your resident dog's new best friend. In fact, we suspect they'll become inseparable. Since she loves other dogs so much and really blossoms around them, having another dog in the home is a non-negotiable for this sweetie. If your dog has been looking for a bestie, Tinkerbell may be exactly who they've been waiting for. She also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. She did not chase Biggie, nor was she bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around her as well. We do not know if she has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for Tinkerbell to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Tinkerbell has also spent time with children ranging from 8 to 14 years old. Out of all the dogs the kids met that day, Tinkerbell ended up being their favorite. She did need a little help from her dog friends to feel comfortable initially, but once she warmed up, she was happily leaning in for affection, giving gentle kisses, and soaking up all the hugs and attention she could get. She was very tolerant of their touching and interactions and showed us just how sweet and gentle she truly is. Tinkerbell is crate trained, potty trained, and has wonderful house manners. She enjoys playing with toys, spending time with her dog friends, splashing around in a kiddie pool, and finding cozy spots to snuggle. She isn't looking for a chaotic lifestyle. She's looking for a family who will give her time to settle in, a couch to cuddle on, and most importantly, a canine companion to share it all with. We also believe that she would do best in a home with a backyard rather than an apartment. One other thing that makes Tinkerbell so special, aside from her loving heart, is her unique appearance. She has adorable spots scattered throughout her coat that make her stand out from the crowd and give her a look that's entirely her own. If you've been searching for a sweet, loyal girl who comes with a built-in best friend requirement and enough love to fill your home, Tinkerbell might just be your perfect match. All she needs is a family willing to give her a chance, a little patience while she settles in, and a dog friend to show her the ropes. We are willing to test Tinkerbell with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
