Story
Sweet as chocolate, smooth like peanut butter, and filled with love, she is the sweetest treat you didn't know you were craving. Her name is Vienna Angel and she is our peanut butter cup of love. I personally am a sucker for dogs with resting sad face and Vienna absolutely has one of the cutest! Maybe she learned you get more treats this way. She knows how to work her puppy dog eyes to get what she wants. She will put you in a trance with her cuteness! This girl had me absolutely fawning over her with her warm peanut butter brown coat and soft, soulful eyes. She is the perfect blend of all the right things. Like your favorite candy, she's got a soft center, a little bit of bouncy, and whole lot of love to give. https://youtu.be/nY-IK1U5Q18?si=OYlQbP1ieZzOFskG We believe Vienna is 2 years old and she appears to be a labrador and staffordshire mix. She currently weighs 70 lbs and is fully grown! If we could measure the love in her body-- she would measure in as 100%! Vienna's love language? Walks, car rides, puddles, and ice cream!! She doesn't beg for food....unless you're holding that magical pint of frozen goodness. Open the freezer, and Vienna will come trotting over, just in case there's a scoop with her name on it. She hopes any treat has her name written all over it. Vienna loves a good tasty snack and will do anything for a taste! Even if it means learning a few commands or practicing some that she already knows. She already knows how to sit, is crate trained and potty trained, and after the first five minutes of excitement (she's gotta get her wiggles out first), she has fantastic leash manners. Sometimes squirrels are just too good to resist so she would be best for someone who can help her stay focused and enjoy the walk outside in the sunshine together! Her fur? Like velvet. Her belly? Like a puppy’s. You’ll find yourself reaching for belly rubs as often as she rolls over for them—and she lives for that affection. One of Vienn's favorite thing in the whole world is to be outside! She loves her foster parents swimming pool and just hanging out in the sunshine! She is definitely a water lover. We cant blame her, this Texas heat is no joke! You can catch her lounging pool side (or in the shallow end). Grab this girl her sunnies and her towel! Vienna is also a wonderful car rider too. She loves sticking her head out the window and feeling the breeze on her face. Get ready for lots of beach trips with this lovely lady. Vienna Angel is very dog friendly and has been a lot of different dogs all with different personalities and temperaments. She has a wonderfully balanced energy and will match the energy of the other dog. She can be playful and she can also be a relaxed lady. When she is around a do that likes to play, she has a bouncy play style and enjoys the occasional rumble and tumble moments. Vienna would actually love if she were adopted into a home with another dog her size or slightly bigger. She would also do best in a kitty free home. We could totally see her in a home with older kids (she is a bit big and easily knocks over little ones) so 10 + is ideal! If you're asking her what her ideal home would be, her one request would be a yard. She loves to really bounce around when she plays and because of her healthy size. Some pretty green grass to sniff would be fantastic too! Vienna is a quiet gal who rarely barks, loves to nap, and never in your business. She would make a great work from home buddy because she's not clingy by any means and has a well balanced energy. By day, she's a low-key nap enthusiast but when the sun goes down and that cooler weather starts to roll in, her goofy side takes the stage. Expect zoomies, wrestling with her foster siblings, and the dramatic rug rollouts LOL! She's comedy on four legs with the best facial expressions to match. Vienna can be slow to warm up to the occasional person while also falling hard and fast for others, but all around, she is a friendly and loving dog. Now that I think of it, aren't we all the same way. She has all the makings of a perfect hang-out girlie. I can see the backyard barbecues, football watching parties, and marathon sessions of your favorite reality tv show with her by your side. Vienna is ready for a love connection and hopefully it is with you! Email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Story
Maribella is ready to be your family dog. She could be the perfect running partner, dog park going, play date loving best friend you never knew you needed. She can also just be your quiet napping companion while you work. Or your cuddle buddy/little spoon! She loves to check in with her people, making sure she is behaving and coming in for a boop here and there. She is trainable simply because of her people pleasing nature. She loves to boop people and other doggies with her cute nose rather than give kisses. It’s so funny! We love everything about this girl from her blue grey coat to her little cow lick down the top of her neck! She’s super soft and she has a little bit of a ridge down her back! Watch Maribella here: https://youtu.be/f9fzCgCaJDU?si=yblJtVDDTQwy9rep Maribella is great in the house and not destructive. She is quiet, not a lot of barking or whining, acts like she has lived in a home environment previously and has very good manners. She does not have any accidents in her kennel or free roaming from what we’ve seen. While her foster works on the computer she is a good girl and naps on the floor. She would make a perfect work from home companion! When you’re sitting there working on your computer every once in a while, she will want to show love, so she will jump up to give you a hug or she will try to slowly crawl into your lap. She is extremely loving and affectionate. She knows how to sit on command and loves rolling onto her back for belly rubs. This girl loves meeting new doggy friends. She gets really excited at first, so give her a chance to show you what a good girl she is. She has more of a rowdy play style, so we could see her fitting in a home with higher energy doggy siblings, or dogs that don’t mind showing her the right ways to behave. She became instant best friends with the dogs she met here at the rescue. Maribella loves praise more than anything in the world, so she will often look to her people to get approval throughout play time, which is great! She will be very tuned in with her person, whoever that may be. Could it be you? Maribella is one of those girls that is going to be deeply loyal, caring, and attentive to her family. She does all of this while still being respectful of new people without being overly eager. Maribella is very gentle with kids! She hung out with her fosters son, age 7 and seemed very comfortable from the beginning. With no hesitation at all, she wanted to give him kisses. She’s pretty confident, she doesn’t seem scared of anything, including when her fosters young son was throwing a balloon around in the air and hitting her with it. Her tail continued to wag. We could see her being a family dog with kids. She’s extremely affectionate, she’ll slip in gentle kisses here and there. Maribella really wants to hug you and she’ll put her head on your shoulder for a really long hug if you will have her. She will look up at you with her puppy dog eyes looking into yours, and wants to give and get love. Even with strangers that she meets out in public. She loves everyone she meets, especially the attendants working at pet stores because she knows they have all the tasty treats and are definitely dog lovers. Speaking of public outings, Maribella loves to be social and go places. Some of her favorite places are the local neighborhood park and the pet store! She loves going to the park and seeing all the squirrels (she dreams about chasing them), and watching all the passerby’s and smelling all the smells. She does good with other dogs passing her or when there is another dog near by not was she startled or concerned about joggers, mom’s passing by with strollers, kids saying hello to her, or even the excitement at the splash pad area. She was just a sweet little lady happy to be out enjoying the sunshine. We are happy to test this girl with nothing you need us to in order to ensure it’s a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to apply? Click here: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/67eaa83ddc1c45bf050374c0 Questions? Meet Angelica ! She is currently 4 weeks old, 3pounds, and we think she may be a Bully breed mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! She is the biggest of the entire litter. This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place. Watch her video here: https://youtu.be/k_v-qMcp36I Angelica is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play and take lots of naps! Eat, sleep, play, repeat. She is living his best puppy life right now - all he needs is YOU! She is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Angelica’s new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Story
Mochi is magic in a bottle! He’s a happy go lucky pup with a heart of gold, and he’s ready for his forever home. We believe that Mochi is a Cur, Pittie mix, but he is a rescue so these are just our best guesses! Mochi has a stunning dark brindle coat. It’s giving expensive, sleek, and stylish! Make way for Mr. Mochi man! Sweet Mochi is estimated to be around 2 years old, and he currently weighs in at a lap-sized 66 pounds. You will enjoy all of those lbs of love when he climbs into your lap for his big bear hug. And you won’t even remember that he’s not a lap dog! The first thing you’ll notice about Mochi is how incredibly people-oriented he is. He greets each and every new face with a wagging tail and a big smile. Kids are no exception for Mochi- he has lived in foster home with a young child with no issue. If your kids need a playmate, Mochi could be a perfect match! Fall in love with Mochi right here! https://youtu.be/k6mgXBxhdUQ?si=triEPrz437ObcxTp Our volunteer took him for a day out and let us know how great he was out in public! Mochi is such a good boy! He did perfectly in the car, sitting like a gentleman, waiting for you to turn around at the red lights to give him a nod and a “good boy Mochi!” Mochi sometimes gets a little excited on a leash, so he would be best with someone who can handle his wiggle butts and ready to go attitude! He LOVES everyone!! We know we already told you how amazing Mochi is in the car, but we really mean it! This quality really does just aid in making him a perfect adventure buddy. He enjoys his car rides in the back seat, watching the world go by while you drive. Mochi loves to accompany his foster family on shopping trips and Starbucks runs, and while he’s out- he’s absolutely spoiled by all who meet him. He’s just so handsome, and always so happy to meet new people- usually new humans will say something like “wow, what a beautiful coat!” followed shortly by “Wow! Thank you for the kisses, Mochi!” Mochi has learned that the compliments come freely and the treats come easy for a good boy like him. If your definition of “adventure” stretches past a trip to Target, fret not- Mochi is a total outdoorsman. This guy doesn’t mind puddles, ice, snow or steep climbs. The most treacherous hike couldn’t faze him. Mochi is both confident and trusting on leash, which makes him a perfect hiking companion. He has the stamina to join you for long excursions, and the car riding skills to join you in far away lands. He’s people-oriented enough to check in from time to time, making adventuring that much safer and more enjoyable. He’s a perfect camping/hiking/adventuring companion, through and through! When you get to that scenic overlook, Mochi will “sit” on command for that perfect picture, in exchange for a treat, of course! Speaking of treats, Mochi is super food motivated! This makes further training with him enjoyable and rewarding for both of you. He already sits on command for treats and he takes them gently. He also knows how to stay, he is such a good listener! His favorite treat is beef jerky, and yes, he did ask us to include this factoid in his bio! It is very important and relevant information for his future family to know. Mochi’s foster family does include two small dogs with a medium to low energy level. Mochi is firmly in the medium energy category, with legs that could run all day and a heart that could snuggle all night. Mochi loves to play with other dogs, and does play with his foster siblings, but is respectful when the other dogs are done playing, or don’t want to play. His lower energy friends keep him balanced, and for that reason we believe he would do best in a home with medium to low energy female dogs like his foster siblings. Mochi is so people-oriented that he could also thrive as a solo dog, soaking up all of your attention for himself. Mochi is a total toy lover too. He likes to carry his toys around in his mouth, and he has been reported to do so for up to a half hour at a time. It’s impossibly adorable. He also likes to pull his toys out of his toy box, one by one, doing a little “inventory” before deciding which is best. He’s also great at catching his toys in his mouth. He’s such a talented and happy boy! I was one of the lucky people able to play tug-of-war with Mochi, and of course he won. With a boy this cute you don’t even care when you lose a great battle, because you’ve already won just by being with him!!! Precious Mochi is so loving and happy, he will surely brighten any home. We would be remiss to not mention that Mochi is a total staff favorite! He’s described as “funny and cute,” by our behavior team lead, as “so happy” by one of our K9 Coaches, and as “an incredibly special boy,” by one of our adoption coordinators. Mochi is truly such a bright and special soul, and he has so many fans and friends already, but he’s ready for his forever home. With a smile always on his face, Mochi is ready to fill your home with love and happiness. Mochi could live with other dogs, but we don’t recommend him for a home with kitties. We believe he would be happiest in a home with a yard, but considering his personality and social skills, we believe he could do well in an apartment too. Mochi could make a great family dog, we think he would be best in a home with kids 10+ Mochi is ready for the rest of his life to begin- don’t make him wait any longer, apply to adopt this sweet boy today! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
If you're looking for a sweet sidekick who's as go with the flow as she is cute, look no further because Fifi Freckles is your perfect match! She is all about tail wagging good vibes and going wherever the wind (or you) take her. Whether that's lounging by your side or going on a casual stroll around the neighborhood, her easy going nature is content with it all. Morning walk? Cool beans. Couch nap? Even better. Spontaneous adventure? Let's go! She'll just be happy to be included. Fifi Freckles is kid friendly, dog friendly, loves everyone she meets, and is your own personal ray of sunshine. Let's also not forget to mention those adorable freckles perfectly scattered on her face. Hence the name "Freckles," it couldn't be any more fitting for her. Watch her video and see just how easy going and go with the flow this girl is: https://youtu.be/Eb1BThlQQ08?si=Cor8ktPp-2TfWaq4 Fifi Freckles is believed to be a pittie/lab mix approximately 2 years old and currently weighs 80 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Fifi Freckles is such a go with the flow, “just happy to be here” type of dog. You can be doing some rearranging in the house, unpacking boxes, doing laundry, or just having a super busy day doing chores around the house and there’s Freckles in the background happy as can be watching all the action. When you're done or need a break from whatever it is you're doing, Freckles will be right there ready to give you all the love and kisses. She loves affection and loves to be around people. One of the ways she shows her love is by giving you gentle kisses and leaning into to you for hugs. When Freckles met a total stranger, she was immediately giving her paw for more affection, giving sweet face kisses, and was all tail wags. Even when she met a young boy (who is 9 years old), her reaction was the same and all she wanted to do was love on him. Her easy going and happy nature is simple how she meets everyone. Freckles is all about people and is definitely a people's dog. From what we have seen so far, we believe Freckles would make a great companion for a family with kids. She also would be a great greeter to your guest if you're someone that likes to have friends and family over for Sunday funday. Fifi is very dog friendly and has the best time making new friends and in playgroups. She is a super goofy gal when she is playing with other dogs and bounces around like a baby deer LOL. It's the cutest thing. Fifi loves to romp around the yard with the other dogs and is also very tolerant of even rambunctious tumble play. She has more of a "hey, let's play chase" type of play style and can get a little overwhelmed with super rough play. She can absolutely tolerate it and does just fine with it, but just prefers a gentler play style like hers. Which is very bouncy and lighthearted. In a home, Freckles would do best with a happy go lucky dog like herself. A doggy friend that enjoys romping around in the yard together playing a game of chase, has a gentle play style, and a buddy that also enjoys those relaxing moments as well. If you don’t have other dogs, that’s totally fine too! Freckles does not need a dog to help her feel comfortable and to open up, she is a loving happy girl all on her own and she’ll love being the center of our world. When it comes to training, Freckles already knows a handful of basic commands such as sit and down. She actually will go into a "down" position automatically after a sit without you even asking almost as if she could read your mind. She loves treats and takes them very gently but if she had to chose between treats or affection, she would most likely choose affection every time. It's her love language and the way to her heart. Freckles is very easy to walk on a leash and isn't phased by people walking past her, dogs in the distance, or even when loud lawn mowers are near by. We can see her being a great companion to take with you to farmers markets, leisurely strolls around the neighborhood, and taking her with you to your local coffee shop. Freckles is also crate and potty trained as well and has wonderful house manners. Freckles ideal home would have a backyard where she can stretch her legs, romp around with her new doggy siblings, hangout with you while you garden, and sunbathe during those nice summer days. She is an easy going medium energy gal that has a playful side to her paired with a calm couch-potato soul underneath it all. She would do best with a semi active family that enjoys going on walks and looking for a snuggle bug to lounge around with a the end of the day. She is best of both worlds! We are willing to test Fifi Freckles with anything you need to ensure it’s a perfect match for you. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!  Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.  The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.  While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family  Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions  70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer  Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Story
**Fostered in Everett, WA and ready for meet and greets!** This is the biggest Kitten you will see today! This Kitten is a big, lovable girl who is bouncy and playful, with a contagious amount of happiness. Her foster notes that she is "SO affectionate"! She enjoys standing you or sitting in your lap smoothering you in kisses! When you’re cuddling with her, don’t be surprised if she wants to nestle her big ole kissable head into your legs. Safe to say, this big girl definitely thinks she's a lap dog! Her foster momma calls Kitten her “weighted blanket”. Kitten falls HARD for her people. Sometimes she can be cautious when meeting new friends, but she ultimately just wants to be with her forever family. She is a little shadow following you everywhere, and staring up at you with her squishy face and puppy dog eyes no one can resist. Her nickname is Big Baby Love Bug for a reason! Estimated to be 3 years old and weighing 73 lbs, she is fully grown, and we cannot dance around it, she is a big girl. Given her size and eagerness to experience all the amazing things the world has to offer, a handler that can physically manage her will be key to keeping her focus. She listens well and is very attentive, no worries there, a little muscle is just for good measure. Plus she is treat motivated which will only help when it comes time to practice leash skills or obedience. Her love of treats make us think she will be a good student. She even knows how to sit! She is interested in people food, but is not pushy and accepts a "no" with ease. Take a look at her video and come back for more! https://youtu.be/jVKBZY9fMYQ?si=JArQjGjw9M-8bUNo Kitten would thrive in a family home, and kids who are steady on their feet would be ideal so she doesn’t knock any littles over with love. She currently lives with a 5 and 8 year old. Her favorite part of the day is waking them up for school, and greeting them again when they arrive home! She is potty trained and crate trained. She sleeps like a rock all through the night in her crate. She is an amazing work from home companion, snoring the day away on her bed. She will come up when you have breaks for extra reassurance that she is a good girl! Kitten would most likley need a home with a yard. She loves going on walks with her foster mom, and she is always getting compliments from people saying how beautiful she is. She would also do well in a home with another dog. Kitten does well with other dogs, especially confident, playful males who like to have a good time and don’t mind a big, bouncy playmate. She has a balanced way of playing—happy to engage but able to set boundaries if another dog is too rowdy. Kitten would love a moderately playful canine friend in her new home. She would also do great in a home with a small dog as a well. She met our small dog tester Mateo and you see her in her video, sharing treats, snuggling on the bed together, sharing affection, etc. There was a moment when she got a little too excited and Mateo of course didn't want to be stepped on and he growled at her and she respected his correction and understood that she needed to be a little more gentle around him. Kitten is an all around good doggy friend to all. Since she is so loving and people oriented, she also wouldn't mind being the center of your attention if you don't have other dogs. She is a happy and confident girly all on her own and does not need the comment of another dog to help her feel comfortable and be the social butterfly that she is. For a family who wants a loyal, attentive companion, Kitten’s affectionate nature is going to feel amazing, her and that happy heart are a real treasure. Because of her size and occasionally bouncy happiness, she’d be a great fit for a home with older kids who can handle her big-hearted energy. And despite her name Kitten is not meant for a kitten. Basically, no cats for Kitten! She’s a little too interested in them and might find it hard to resist chasing a feline friend around the house. If you’re ready to introduce people to you new 73lb Kitten, she is just as ready! If this was her dating profile, then kitten is ready for her long-term committed relationship. She will love you from the second you bring her home! Kitten is looking to share her big hearted excitement for life. Could that be with you and yours?
