Story
Luna is an Anatolian Sheperd with we believe so to have greyhound as her body is developing and sosimilar to them. She is current about 70 lbs, She has a sweet temperament with everyone, loves people and she is being fostered with cats and dogs of all sizes and ages. She is 12 months old. Luna will be ideal as a running partner, hiking, camping; a sweet giant lyon, who loves to kiss you. She has received her core puppy vaccinations, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. Her human parent cannot take care of them any longer; she is sick and wants the best for them. Please open your home and hearts to our sweet and amazing mama girl:) Please contact us at 619-576-0747 as 1st type of contact or email veronica.aaofus@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . If approved, the adoption coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a Meet-and-Greet appointment. No appointments will be made unless we have received an application; therefore, we can match you with the best fit for you. Follow us on Instagram@aaofus where you can see more pics. Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date their 3 core puppy DHLPP vaccinations, spaying or neutering, deworming, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- A minute of conscious - Please read:) We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!! Less

Titus Your Next Adventure Buddy! Titus is an 18-month-old, 83-lb bundle of love and energy! This handsome boy is curious, intelligent, and full of life. He’s housebroken, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines — ready to start his next chapter! Titus has been well-socialized and loves to play with other dogs. Whether it’s walks, hikes, or any outdoor fun, he’s always up for it! He’d thrive in a home with a backyard and maybe another playful pup to keep him company. He’s also a sweetheart with people — Titus loves attention from children and adults alike and happily soaks up every pet and scratch he can get. He hasn’t been around cats yet, but he’s such a good-natured, fun-loving, and beautiful dog who just wants to be part of a loving home. Interested in meeting Titus? Story
How this pet arrived: Kona was brought in by her previous owner on December 6, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Kona! This gorgeous brindle girl is as sweet and loyal as they come. She's been a bit fearful in our care, but with slow introductions and patience, her warm, affectionate side truly shines. Once she feels safe, Kona is the kind of pup who loves soaking up pets, riding shotgun on car adventures, and enjoying a breezy day at the beach. Kona is both crate trained and potty trained, giving her a great head start in her new home. She has done well with other dogs out and about, but she prefers not to share her favorite people - so she's looking to be the only dog in the home. Any kids in the household will need to meet her ahead of time to ensure it's a great fit for everyone. If you're looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little time to blossom, Kona may be your perfect match. At SDHS:Kona has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Kona is now ready for her new home!Shy/Fearful Dog: This pet requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them.
