Story
Luna is an Anatolian Sheperd with we believe so to have greyhound as her body is developing and sosimilar to them. She is current about 70 lbs, She has a sweet temperament with everyone, loves people and she is being fostered with cats and dogs of all sizes and ages. She is 12 months old. Luna will be ideal as a running partner, hiking, camping; a sweet giant lyon, who loves to kiss you. She has received her core puppy vaccinations, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. Her human parent cannot take care of them any longer; she is sick and wants the best for them. Please open your home and hearts to our sweet and amazing mama girl:) Please contact us at 619-576-0747 as 1st type of contact or email veronica.aaofus@gmail.com or visit our website at www.aaofus.org and complete our application at the following link: http://aaofus.org/adoption-application.html . If approved, the adoption coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a Meet-and-Greet appointment. No appointments will be made unless we have received an application; therefore, we can match you with the best fit for you. Follow us on Instagram@aaofus where you can see more pics. Please allow 48 hours to process applications and respond back to set up appointments. Unfortunately, responses back to those who do not qualify are not possible due to high volume of applications. Donation Adoption fee includes up-to-date their 3 core puppy DHLPP vaccinations, spaying or neutering, deworming, flea medication, and a complementary health check up by a participating clinic near you. Please consider adopting one (or more!) of these fur babies! Due to high volume of calls; NO PHONE calls are accepted at this time - therefore, please text us or email us.- A minute of conscious - Please read:) We ask you Please to be SERIOUS adopters; as there have been so many people that are not ready. We set up meet & greet appointments, do a home visit or send them the address for some meet & greet locations, paperwork and suddenly they said they are not ready or spouse is not ready, etc. These fur kids have a very hard day the day of their appointment. Due to travelling we hold their food, so they won't get car sick. We bath them, some of them are schedule for grooming as you know it is stressful for them; then they have to travel with us picking up other rescued fur kids, and so on, it is a very stressful hard day for them for people to just cancel at last minute or not show up or do show up and just say they are not ready. Our time as well as your time is valuable. Please don't waste valuable time that is so precious for a rescued pet. Every single wasted time is a time that an animal will die because we didn't get to them on time to help them. In addition, of wasting gas and grooming fees which are paid by volunteers. Please take the time to put your shoes in the shoes of the volunteer and most of it to put your shoes on our rescued fur kids!! Please take a minute to tell yourself if you are ready to adopt and for this commitment. LIVE!! LOVE!! LAUGH!! ADOPT A RESCUED HOMELESS PET AND SAVE A LIFE!! Less

Story
Meet Patterson Patterson’s story started in a place no puppy should ever have to call home… hiding on the upper floors of a construction site. At just 6 months old, he was already surviving on his own—cowering in corners, darting away from people, and only coming out for scraps left behind. No trust. No safety. No understanding of the world around him. When he was humanely trapped, we hoped his story would turn quickly—that someone would come looking for him. But no one did. The shelter environment only shut him down further, and his future became uncertain… until the very person who helped save him stepped in again and gave him a second chance. Patterson arrived fearful, withdrawn, and checked out.But he was still just a puppy—and that curiosity started to break through. Watching other dogs play, get excited, and trust humans… something clicked. Slowly, he began to lean in.To explore. To hope. Today, Patterson has transformed from a scared little survivor into a young dog who is still figuring out the world—but is so ready to be part of it. He’s got that puppy energy, that goofy curiosity, and a heart that just wants to connect. He may not have had the foundation early on, but what he does have is sensitivity, eagerness to please, and the ability to learn quickly in the right environment. Perks   Incredibly sensitive and eager to please  Playful, curious, and full of young dog energy  Smart and highly trainable  Can settle and relax after activity  Still a baby at heart—goofy, fun, and figuring it all out  Needs   Flight risk – requires secure handling at all times  Must be crated when unattended A handler who's confident with leash control  Awareness of doors, gates, and windows is critical  Never off-leash in unfenced areas (for life)  Continued training and structure will be important   Ideal Home Patterson would benefit from a home that's committed to structure, guidance, and continued training. His perfect adopter would be patient and understand dogs with limited early socialization, as well as have an active lifestyle to match his energy, with the ability to help him decompress. Someone who sees his past not as a limitation—but as part of his story. Patterson doesn’t need perfect… he just needs someone willing to show him what life was always supposed to be. ##1338996##
