Story
Violet is a 2-3 year old, beautiful Anatolian Shepard. She weighs approximately 42 pounds. She is momma to the flower pups that are also up for adoption. Now that she’s done being momma, she’s ready to find a home where she can be a dog. She is extremely shy! She doesn’t like loud noises so a home with no young kids would be best. She will do best in a home that’s relatively quiet. She’s been through a lot in her young age and is scared of her own shadow right now, but we know with time, she will warm up and be the best girl! She is housetrained, crate trained and walks well on leash. She does have a preference to women and is dog shy (not cat tested). If you’re ready to give this sweet girl a spot in your home, please apply at pawsomeanimalwelfare.com Adoption fee includes all up-to-date vaccines, spay and microchip.

Story
Stella is a very sweet girl but can be nervous at first. We rescued her from the holding facility in Greenup County Kentucky. She is good with other dogs but is an alpha female, so we feel she would do best in a home with small dogs or dogs that don't have an alpha personality. We were told that she is good with children and she is great with cats in her foster home. She is a big girl but still needs to put on weight and should be 85-95 pounds full grown. She is absolutely passionate about her toys and whoever adopts her should be prepared to have a toy box full of toys for her to relocate daily around their house. She is full of personality, quirky and endearing, but she is a LOT of dog. She would do best with an experienced handler that knows how to set boundaries.   If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). Adoption fee is $215 with approved application, applications can be filled out at this link. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10167/generic . ##2212440##

Story
Hi, I’m KC!  I’m a 4 year old female Anatolian Shepherd mix. I’m a big girl at 92 lbs and my foster mom says I should gain another 5-10 lbs. Good thing because I LOVE to eat. My foster mom says I’m very “food motivated” and she’s been using that to train me. I love everyone I meet, especially kids. I live with another big dog and two cats. I really like playing with the dog. The cats don’t want to play with me, which makes me sad but I get it. I’d love a forever home that would take me on walks and let me curl up on the couch with them. I can’t wait for my forever home! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   January 7, 2025, 4:21 pm

Story
Aylin is a beautiful, 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd mix. Anatolian’s are known for their background of herding and protecting endangered species. Typically their breed are independent but not Aylin. She is 72 lbs and full of love to give. Although big, she is gentle and would love a family that matches her sweet nature. Aylin does well with meeting new people and dogs. She loves her Benebone and chewing on other toys. She came from a shelter, so she will need someone who is patient with her and help with training such as leash training (does well with a Halti collar) and redirecting during loud sounds. She loves car rides, has become a pro at jumping in and out of the SUV, and meeting new people! She eats well, will graze her food throughout the day, just don’t leave a trash can open near her. Aylin is a very special girl and would love someone to relax with after her walks and is the definition of Netflix and Chill. As a bonus, Aylin is fully house trained! If you are interested in adopting Aylin, please apply at pawpatroldayton.com. Her adoption fee is 285 dollars which includes being microchipped, heartworm testing, up to date vaccinations, and spay. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

Story
Jackson was adopted from the Humane society of Greate Dayton at 4 months old. Jackson is very sweet and extremely smart. He loves to play, and is super friendly. I watch my grandaughters all week who are still under 5 years old. As a result he is not getting the attention I feel he deserves. I belive he would thrive in a home with a large back yard and an owner that is able to devote more time with him.

These pups are in Bellevue, Kentucky too!

Story
Blitz…or as we call her …Blitz-a-rooni is the total package. She was found on the streets in horrific shape …mange and secondary skin infections which actually left her unidentifiable as a breed…one in a home and understanding no one was going to hurt her she quickly flourished. The beautiful part of the mange is meds and quality nutrition healed her physically in no time…almost to where she doesn’t even look like the same dog…then she learned the ins and outs of a home and sharing life with other 2 legged and 4 legged…she figured out fluffy blankets right away and determined they were a definite requirement in her home…LOL She had resource guarding of her food which was not real issue as we feed our dogs in crate …but she also does very well with getting treats etc or even the shared ice cube in our home. I don’t blame her for being a little selfish when it comes to food..as it was evident she had to be protective to survive. She has turned out to be a definite chug butt ..solid and smaller in stature she is a briick of love. We have 3 Malinois and my husband kept saying she looks mal and I did not agree lol so we did a DNA and I’ll be darned if she isn’t 50 percent Belgian Malinois…What I see in this is a smart girl…but without the anxiety of the mal breed…which is a huge blessing I feel like she is the bestt of all her breeds …lol..she is fabulous in crate…I simply tell her to go to her room and she doesn’t make a peep. She is a bit of a Velcro dog and just wants to be with her person. She is easy on leash and would be amazing to work and train. Her activity level is moderate and she gets definite zoomies…does great with all my dogs but is best with dogs her size or larger. Her prey drive for smaller is intact. She loves kids but I always recommend with the power and intelligence older kids. She has definitely found her diva side…loving all things soft, blankets, rugs, towels, all things stuffy toys and if you are close by she will snuggle right in. The only thing she doesn’t like is when in crate and you are a stranger and you stare at her…but out of crate loves with all her chunkiness. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
OK, I have seen the best part of life but I have also seen the absolute worst part of life too... ALL within the last 3 months! I was found by a rescuer, after someone on facebook saw a dog attacked by other dogs and possibly hit by a car before that..... :( So a rescuer went to the location and heard my babies crying in a tool shed behind a house. AND the "people" who lived in the house told the rescuer, "just leave them to die- they are not worth saving"...... I mean, WHAT??????? OMG, sometimes a rescuer just wants to hurt someone... but luckily the rescuer said, "i am saving them and you get out of my way", in a really NICE rescuer way.... So, she saved us. I ended up going straight to the specialty vet because my back two legs were rotting- not kidding :( And my puppies went to the rescue and 4 BOTTLE MAMAS- foster moms who literally cared for us just like our mama did! And all my pups found amazing homes! I endured about 5 weeks of surgeries, debridements, cones on my head, pain and meds.... AND I LIVED with ALL FOUR LEGS! My vets and my rescuers just hit it outta the park for me! I am an absolute sweetheart. Only about 45# of love and gentle nature. I am great with other dogs all people and I am ready for my FUREVER LOVING FOREVER FAMILY! Why are you waiting?? ADOPT ME SOON!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
A Sweet Litter of Puppies!! A little group of 5 puppies were brought into the rescue as bottle babies. Their mom had died, and they were too young to eat on their own. So, they came to the rescue to be fed and to grow! They were born about December 2nd, and are now off the bottle, eating kibble well and growing like proverbial weeds! Their days are a cycle of eating, sleeping, pooing, playing and repeat…typical puppy behavior at this age! They will get second shots and surgery in early February and will be able to go home after that. Dark Chocolate is my name, and I am just one of the boys! I love to wrestle and play with my 3 brothers and my little sister. And like the rest, foster mom gave the nickname of ‘Chockie Chip’. Guess my name is a little long to say all the time. I have coloring like the Belgian Malinois breed and since mom was a shepherd mix, who knows? I may end up looking like one of those guys. But I have a wonderful personality and am not that bossy right now, just a goofy playful puppy. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
