I’m all about the good things in life: squeaky toys, water play, long walks, and best of all—snuggle time on the couch. I’m a pro at giving hugs (though I’m working on not jumping up too hard to give them—oops!). I get along great with other dogs and kids, but because of my size and enthusiasm, I’d do best with older children who won’t get accidentally knocked over during playtime. I’m crate trained, housebroken, and walk nicely on a leash—unless there’s a squirrel… then it’s game on! I do have a slight prey drive, so a little guidance goes a long way. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, playful companion to fill your home with love (and maybe take up some space on your couch), I’m your guy. Looking for love and a great home. Garnet is a super sweet big lug of a mastiff.  Garnets house burnt down December 27, 2022 and he was so badly burned no one was sure if we could save him.  We felt really bad for him and his owner, so we cared for Garnet while getting him well. It took 6 months of horrible pain stacking medical Care. He is great now but he will be scared for life but looks great.  His owner rebuilt and wanted him back.  Now she has decided it would be better for him for us to find him a loving home.  He is truely a very special guy.   Garnets date of birth September 17, 2020. Garnet is fawn with a black mask.  He is up to date on vaccines, on heartworm prevention, micro chipped with Home Again  he is well enough to be neutered and that happens on 11-28-23. We do not have any pictures of his after he was healed as good as he gets. We lost all  the pictures but we have pictures of his long six months of Recovery.  If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet boy or any of our other wonderful, beautiful babies please email Miracle House Animal Rescue and we will send you our adoption questionnaire: miraclehouserescue@gmail.com. HAWAII anyone?? I mean, VACATION anyone?? We are the Hawaii girls and we would LOVE to give you a private tour of the most dynamic group of islands in the world!! So do you like pineapple and SPAM?? We do!! We think so anyway, I mean we are not even 8 weeks old yet....so no we haven't tried either yet but being named after the islands put us in an adventurous mood! So you can see how adorable we are and our story is one of love, a LOT of work- a LOT of lost sleep of multiple bottle baby fosters! There were 10 of us, all 2 days old- and born under a house and our mom was hit by a car. Lucky for us people KNEW we were there and saved us.....and the rescuers saved us ALL! Now we are ready for adoption into our forever homes!! We are sweet girls, looking for sweet and adventurous families...We are "shepherd/boxer" mixes with gorgeous markings, likely will be 50+ pounds full grown- we have fairly substantial paws :) We can't wait to meet you!!
