Story
Welcome Winnie to CCPAL Rescue. Winnie is a 3-month-old pup. We think she is Anatolian Shepherd and Great Pyrenees. She currently weighs 22 pounds and should be 50 pounds is our best estimate. She does not have the extra toe on the back that is typical in Great Pyr pups. She was founds as a stray and pulled from one of the local high-kill pounds. She is already getting her distemper vaccines and has had 2 already. She will be fluffy but she is thinner and not as heavy. She is moderate to low energy pup and would be fine with children. She would be great in the colder climates because she has a nice soft, fluffy coat. She is also lower on the vocal scale. She is good off leash with other dogs and blends nicely. She is good and quiet in her crate and will sleep all night. She is a very nice pup and will be a great addition for a moderately active family. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
Mabel, a spirited soul with a heart full of hope, embarked on a journey that would change her life forever. With her paws patterning the pavement of a bustling street, she chanced upon a house bearing a sign that read, "Vacancy for potential foster dog available." Curiosity sparked in her eyes, Mabel couldn't resist the allure of a better life. She wondered what it meant to be a foster dog, but the promise of something more enticing than the uncertain streets beckoned her inside. The warmth that enveloped her upon entering was unlike anything she had ever known. A caring foster mom welcomed her with open arms, and Mabel's heart swelled with gratitude. In this newfound haven, she discovered the joys of a loving home. As days turned into weeks, Mabel's health improved, and her foster mom shared the news that she was ready for a forever home. It sounded even better than her foster home, and Mabel was ready to embrace whatever lay ahead, for she was simply along for the ride. In the comfort of her foster home, Mabel revealed her true self. She had a fondness for treats, a love for scratches, and an insatiable desire to be in the company of people. Little humans held a special place in her heart, and she would shower them with kisses to express her affection. She had mastered the art of sitting and being a good girl, especially when treat time arrived. Mabel's cozy bed became her sanctuary, and she hoped her future family would have one just as comfortable for her. Her easy going nature led her to bask in the sun, where she would diligently watch over her newfound territory. Although she could be a bit selective around other dogs, she found harmony with those who respected her need for space and calm interactions. Additionally, Mabel was kennel trained, a testament to her adaptability and good manners. While she couldn't type emails herself, her foster mom graciously offered to answer any questions on her behalf. Mabel was a delightful presence, roughly 85 pounds of pure charm, and at around five years old, she was ready to share her love and companionship with a forever family. With her affinity for children and her serene disposition, she was destined to bring joy to any home. So, to anyone in search of a loyal companion who adores treats, cuddles, and sunny days, and a COUCH, Mabel is the perfect match. She is patiently waiting for the day when her forever family will come to get her!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Snickerdoodle - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Oh do we have the puppy cuteness overload going on here!! This adorable lil gal has got almost all the boxes checked!!! Affectionate - check Sweet - check Huggable and Kissable - double that check Playful - check Cute as a button - oh for sure that's a check Pawsome family members - yep, that's a check The family - no check :( ...yet! Snickerdoodle didn't have the best start in life having come from an unwanted litter that lived in just the dirt backyard. She however has been living up to her name, Snickerdoodle. Warm and soft with a little bit, ok, a whole bunch of sweetness. No need to pop this Snickerdoodle in the oven, she comes ready made!! Snickerdoodle is about 5 months old (DOB 6/25) and as with your typical puppy it doesn't take her long to show her true silly personality. A little bit sassy, a little bit sweet and a whole lot of cuddly. She should be about the 50ish lb range when she gets fully grown up. What a great size for well...everything. Big enough for any activities and adventures you might want to go on but small enough to make sure there is lots of room on the couch for you. She wants to make sure she doesn't miss out on ANY her cuddle time! She does great with people and the other foster pups here at the rescue. Snickerdoodle will need lots of exercise and playtime to help keep her puppy shenanigans at a minimal but with that in she should do great in town with a yard, out in the country or anywhere in between. With Snickerdoodle's mixed breed hairytage her short sleek coat won't take much in the grooming department, making her more of a wash-n-go type of gal, which will leave lots of time for the both of you in the 'spoil her rotten' department, her favoritest time, you and her time!!! Sweet and sassy, playful and snuggly, add in that cutest lil face and you've got a fabulous family member just waiting to happen! She just needs YOU to help her get that last box checked!!!

Story
Hi there! My name is Dutch and I'd love to be your new best friend. I can't  figure out why nobody has wanted to meet me. I am a near perfect size at about 40 lb and I am loving my foster home. I enjoy running around with toys playing keep away from my canine foster brothers. I have lots of energy just like any puppy my age and will need lots of exercise and patience as I learn. My foster family is teaching me what things around the house I can chew on and what things are what my foster mom calls no-nos. I also really like socks. So much so that I tend to eat them therefore a home with young kids who like to leave their things laying around the house just like I do would probaly not be the best fit. I am doing really well with potty training and I haven't had an accident in the house in quite a long time as long as I'm let outside on a pretty regular schedule. I spend my time in a kennel while my foster family is away and don't put up too much of a fuss. I also sleep in my kennel overnight and sleep through the night after running out all of my energy before going to bed.  I love everyone I meet humans and canines alike. I have been told that I have the happiest demeanor ever and wouldn't hurt a fly. I've never met a cat but I would be curious about them and probably try to play with them but I would not harm them. I'd love to have a buddy to play with. I am a very busy boy and very very active even though I have been diagnosed with a low-grade heart murmur (grade 2 of 6), but I had a great visit with a cardiologist at Animal Emergency and Referral Centerr and they tell me that it’s unlikely to cause any complications in the future and shouldn’t impact me. They also told me I could google it to learn more heart murmors and learn they are not a big deal however it is a good idea, during my yearly wellness exams, that we check on it to be sure nothing changes. I can't wait to grow up and learn how to be the best boy ever in my forever home. Please fill out an application so we can meet each other soon! Completion of an Adoption Application via our website (www.RescueCrew.org) is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in the adoption process. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
