Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marlin (AL) is three months old and already has the kind of face that makes you pause, blink, and say, “Wait… is that a puppy or a tiny, furry criminal mastermind?” This sweet Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix comes equipped with perfect black rings around both eyes, giving him the vibe of a bank robber caught midgetaway… or a baby panda… or possibly a friendly ghost who hasn’t quite mastered subtlety. Despite his dramatic eye makeup, Marlin is pure goodness. He’s loving, gentle, wellmannered, and wonderfully social — the kind of pup who greets people like old friends and thinks other dogs are just bonus siblings he hasn’t met yet. He’s soft, snuggly, and has that earnest puppy charm that makes you want to scoop him up and promise him the world. Marlin is ready to grow into his big, loyal, majestic self with a family who will adore him, laugh at his “I swear I didn’t do it” expression, and give him the happy life he deserves. Apply online to adopt Marlin at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Dory (AL) is three months old and already operating at full maincharacter energy. This Anatolian Shepherd/Great Pyrenees prodigy arrives in a dazzling swirl of honey gold, dramatic inky accents, and a perfect splash of white across her face that looks like she’s been kissed by a paintbrush wielded by a very enthusiastic artist. She is, in short, a walking masterpiece — the kind of puppy who makes strangers gasp, point, and briefly forget what they were doing. Her personality? A triumph. Dory is tender, polite, peopleapproved, dogendorsed, and radiates the sort of charm that could convince a statue to smile. She trots around like she’s hosting her own parade, greeting everyone with warm enthusiasm and impeccable manners. She’s cuddly, devoted, and has that irresistible “I’m destined for greatness” glow that only certain puppies possess. If you’ve been waiting for a pup who looks like she stepped out of a fantasy novel, behaves like she’s already graduated charm school, and loves with her whole heart, Dory is ready to sweep you off your feet and into her story. Apply online to adopt Dory (AL) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. Story
Peach Fuzz was found as a three-month-old stray in eastern Tennessee and brought to a local shelter. Sweet-natured and beautiful, she was nevertheless days away from being euthanized for space when we pulled her out — and we couldn't be more glad we did. At just six months old, she's already house trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on leash. She's intelligent, eager to please, and remarkably even-tempered for her age — the kind of puppy who rarely needs to be corrected twice. She gets along with everyone: adults, kids, dogs, and cats. If you've been waiting for a young dog who skips the chaos and goes straight to being a great companion, Peach Fuzz might be exactly who you've been looking for. She is fostered in Tarrytown, NY, and is available for local or out-of-state adoption as long as the adopter can travel to meet her. We can also bring her to NYC for meet and greets. To get the adoption process started, please send us an application at https://bit.ly/rosr-adopt-foster.

Story
This handsome boy was picked up running at large and based on Facebook posts it was about his third or fourth offense, but no one claimed him. We are guessing that he was a failure at being a livestock guardian because he’s way too social. He’s always wanting to visit someone new. Charlie is a little over a year old and weighs 121 lbs. He was very thin when he first came to us but is now at his perfect weight. He is neutered, up to date on required vaccines, microchipped and heartworm tested negative. He’s house trained and he loves other dogs, but he is a big guy. He also will require a tall fence, and you will have to keep an eye on him because again he likes to visit new people. He also has an obsession with deer! For that reason, a privacy fence would be ideal if you have deer around your home. He’s affectionate and likes to lean on you. He is learning commands like sit and stay and he really tries to please! This is what his foster mom says about him " Charlie is amazing. He is housebroken, loves to be hugged, hasn’t chewed anything up, likes to play but is content just to chill. He walks beautifully on a leash and likes to say hi to everyone he meets. Charlie enjoys sitting and looking out the window, hanging around in the kitchen especially when I’m cooking and going for car rides". Although this breed is known for having a stubborn streak, Charlie seems to understand a few commands wait, it’s ok, no, come, let’s go and he will even sit for a treat. But his favorite is Good Boy Charlie❤️" This guy would be a great dog for an active loving family. He’s so sweet! If you would like to be Charlie’s forever family, please email dogs4mylife@ gmail.com or olmc7@ hotmail.com. If you are inquiring from a Gmail address, It is best to use our Gmail address, or you might have to look for us in your spam.
