Story
LOCATION: In Foster until 10/10Boeing is a dog with ears as big as airplane wings. When it comes to spotting her favorite people, Boeing doesn’t miss a thing! This cutie patootie starts off a little shy but warms up quickly, especially for cheese. She’s sweet, snuggly, and full of love.Boeing enjoys hikes, beach days, and car rides. She also settles beautifully wherever she goes. Indoors, she sticks to her own toys, is fully house-trained, and is a champion couch napper. When she gets the zoomies, she hops around like a little bunny — it’s adorable. She’s currently working on her leash manners and will thrive with a patient adopter who can help her continue to feel confident outside. Boeing bonds deeply with her person and would love a home where someone is around often. This lovely girl is silly, affectionate, and so ready to meet her perfect match! The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Story
Meet Toasty, an Anatolian Shepherd / St. Bernard mix turning 3 this April. I’ve had the privilege of raising him since he was just 8 weeks old, and he has been nothing but a loyal, loving, and unforgettable companion. Toasty is full of life and personality. He has grown up around kids of all ages—from toddlers to teens—and showers them with affection, laughter, and the occasional goofy moment. He’s naturally protective, deeply devoted to his people, and happiest when he has space to roam and a purpose to fulfill. His big, thunderous bark may surprise you, but it comes from a place of love and pride—he truly believes it’s his job to keep everyone safe. He’s housebroken, understands verbal and hand commands, and finds pure joy in the simple things: outdoor adventures, splashing in water, fresh air, and being close to the people he loves. This is not an easy decision. My work schedule has changed, and I no longer have the time Toasty deserves. He spends too much time alone, and he deserve

Story
Meet Trinity, a beautiful Anatolian Shepherd born around 2022 with an incredibly sweet soul. She came to WAG from a hoarding situation, so watching her learn to trust people and form new friendships has been a wonderful part of her journey. Once comfortable, Trinity is loving, goofy, and playfully charming without being over-the-top. She has a nice, moderate energy level and an easygoing nature, making her a lovely balance of fun and relaxed companionship. Trinity has successfully shared space with a canine companion and may enjoy living with the right dog. Any potential match should include thoughtful introductions to ensure everyone feels comfortable. Because much of the world is still new to her, Trinity will need a patient family willing to introduce new people, places, and experiences gradually. Positive reinforcement and the freedom to move at her own pace will help her continue building confidence. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate dog and would love the privilege of helping her world grow, Trinity may be the one for you. Story
Meet Becca! This shy girl is still in training and will only be adopted to a home that understands her breed and has time and patience to continue her training. Born in 2020, she is still young and would benefit from having a similarly sized canine companion to help her build confidence. Becca needs a calm home and has a high prey drive, so no children, cats, or other animals, please. Story
Meet Austin! This Anatolian shepherd mix is still in training and will only be placed with a home that understands the breed and will work with Austin to keep up the progress he is making. Austin, like many rescue dogs, had a rough start to life. He is very shy around new people and takes a while to warm up to them. He was born in June 2020, so he is still fairly young and would benefit from ongoing training and human companionship. In his time at WAG, he has spent time with a similarly sized female dog, so he might do well with a canine companion. Austin is looking for a calm home, so children may be overwhelming to him.   Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com.
